Level 27 immediately?

Claret was intrigued and directly opened the skill tree.

Chemist profession all started with basic chemistry or rather, everyone had to learn it from the very beginning.Full novel: Survival Game’s Villainous Hidden Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The basic chemistry is the foundation for every subsequent level and from what Claret had experienced, she knew that the maximum level for other branches will be affected by the level of her basic chemistry.

For example, if her basic chemistry was only 1, she could only learned other skills up to level 1.

If she wanted to learn the skills from level 2, she had to level up her basic chemistry.

And the amount of skill points for the skills would also increase the more levels they learned.

For example, the first level is only 1 skill point and afterwards they had to spend 2 points, and then 3 points, and so on.

This is only for the basic chemistry.

There were a total of 9 level and leveling up will become even more difficult in the future.

Anyway, right now her current skills were as such:

Basic Chemistry (level 3)

Toxin Crafting (Level 3)

Explosive Mixture and Bombs (level 2)

…

Basic chemistry level 3 were the minimum for players to be able to create rare mixture and potions.

Something like Thermite was still considered rare mixture.

Uncommon mixture were level 2.

After basic chemistry, there were actually two branches called Toxin Crafting and Antidotes and Remedy.

The first one was obviously to create dangerous substance and the latter was to save lives.

And the exp needed to learn skills from Toxin Crafting branches will be multiplied by two.

After that, toxin crafting has three more branches named Chemical Warfare, Chemical Trap, and Explosive Mixture.

And each of these branches have the multiplier of three.

So, the calculation for her skill points needed based on the above mentioned skills would be as such:

1 + 2 + 3 = 6 (level 3 Basic Chemistry)

2 + 4 + 6 = 12 (level 3 Toxin Crafting with double multiplier need)

3 + 6 = 9 (level 2 Explosive Mixture and Bombs with triples multiplier need)

What she created fell on the category of Explosive Mixture.

And it was level 2 at the very least.

Level 3 would allow her to create bombs with remote detonation and so on, which was definitely something to look forward to.

Claret smiled happily.

“Explosion is art~.”

But the painful part was that when she opened her skill list, there was definitely the exp requirement above.

From level 27 to level 28, she needed 232,000 EXP.

Yes, more than 2 hundred thousands.

The EXP for each level would increase exponentially while the first level only needed 100 EXP.

And each level would only grant her 1 skill point, so one could imagine how painful it would be to work hard to level up.

Profession EXP could only be obtained through doing that profession specifically.

In other words: Claret would need to create a bunch of potions and so on if she wanted to continue leveling up.

The good thing is that her EXP cap was also made clear.

This meant that she could start earning EXP even though the Survival Game hadn’t started yet.

“More than 200,000 exp in 10 days…” Claret murmured to herself as she looked at the things in front of her and pursed her lips.

It’s practically impossible.

The production itself was not a big problem.

The main problem was that she had to procure the ingredients on her own because many materials were not items from the Survival Game.

If she used ordinary materials, she could still use the knowledge, but it wouldn’t count towards the EXP.

This was one of the main reasons why the level development would be much slower in the future.

“No, there are still cheating methods…”

Just like how she jumped to level 27 right away… as long as she managed to make items that belonged to higher level ranks, the level would be adjusted right away too.

It was just that this is easier said than done.

Because if they have already learned the skills, the Survival Game would ensure that their production of every recipe within their level would be successful without exception and the result would also be very outstanding.

But if they created something above their levels…

That would depend on their own professional skills and the Survival Game could only help showing the information without anything else.

“Hmm, let’s cook something first.” Claret sighed to herself and then she started to cook meal for her lunch.

She’s not in a hurry yet.

Many things haven’t been transformed by the Survival Game yet, so it would be better for her to deal with other things.

First of all, let’s check the materials first.

She might only have 1 million in cash, but most materials from the Survival Game could be gathered in the wilderness.

It’s too late for her to go to the area far away, but isn’t there still that big park?

When she went there last time, she focused on the fountain to get the water.

Now, she wanted to collect some minerals and possibly other resources that have been transformed.

Who knows if she would be lucky enough?
