“This is a surprise inspection…it’s rare that our work coincide with theirs,” Tara quickly whispered, explaining why she had no knowledge about this matter beforehand.

Her reputation as the gossip queen is at stake here!

“I understand,” Claret replied in a soft voice as she walked towards the manager.

Upon seeing the manager’s face, her long dusty memory started to act up once more.

It was Tarmi, Tarja’s cousin, Brenda’s follower, and also the son of another maidservant in the Walker Family.

The difference between him and Tarja is the fact that he was much more resourceful and capable, thus allowing Mr.

Walker to promote him to a better position.

Thinking about the man’s identity, Claret’s smile became more polite and detached.

“Mr.

Tarmi, we’re here to inspect the work.

I hope you would not disappoint the company.”

“Of course, nothing will go wrong with the factory,” Tarmi said through gritted teeth.

The hatred within his eyes was not fully concealed even if he tried his best to hold back and not show it so blatantly.

After all, his mother was still working for the Walker Family and he had a lot of burdens behind him.

Otherwise, he would not let his mother worked as a maidservant.

It was too embarrassing!

But life needed it.

Now that his mother was in hospital, his father was busy fighting for the compensation and his hatred towards other members of the Walker Family aside from the sweet Brenda was extremely high.

“In that case, I have to take a look.” Claret smiled back politely and then walked forward, leading the three people behind.

The two newcomers seemed to sense the tension and being new in the workplace, they didn’t dare to say anything or behave out of the line.

On the other hand, Tara’s eyes gleamed slightly from the gossip in front of her.

“Good.” Tarmi snorted and then walked towards the group of inspectors on the side.

Claret saw Martin looking in her direction and she nodded slightly to him out of politeness.

That’s when she saw his thoughtful look beneath his polite smile and her smile almost cracked.

‘…He couldn’t possibly know that I’m Scarlet, right?’ Claret thought to herself nervously.

No matter what, Martin is a powerful powerhouse in the Survival Game, one who could command a large force.

If she offended him, then her life would be even more miserable than her previous life.

After all, coming back in time didn’t guarantee that her life would definitely be better than in her previous life.

It just allowed her to know the consequences of some actions.

“Let’s go to the warehouse first.”

“Yes!”

The three people followed Claret as she made her way to the factory warehouse.

The warehouse was a bit messy and it seemed that there was a new batch of materials that was stored.

When Claret’s eyes landed on some of them, her eyes flickered slightly.

Because she could clearly see the game panel.

‘It seems that some materials did enter the city ahead of schedule because of the appearance of the Survival Game.’

She had purposely emptied two inventory slots and even put a large rack in one of them for the sake of taking these things.

But it couldn’t be so blatant.

The security camera nearby was still active and watching very carefully.

“Oh, the Inspection team now sent a group of young ladies?” A few people in the warehouse sneered when they saw the four people who came.

There was only one man among them.

“No matter whether it’s women or men, they have the ability to complete this work,” Claret said calmly as she looked at the four of them.

‘He should be Tarmi’s lackey, but I don’t remember his name anymore.

All I remember is that he seems to like smoking and often come to the warehouse to smoke, not caring about the fact that there are some dangerous materials here.’

Thinking about this, Claret’s eyes flickered slightly.
