"Of course I can float using Magic," said the girl from the Uzumaki Clan, a faint smile appearing on her face as she looked at me.
However, the girl's brief answer immediately left me stunned. I instinctively turned my gaze toward her and remained speechless for several moments.
"Magic? You mean that power isn't Ninjutsu? Fuinjutsu? Taijutsu? Or even some kind of forbidden technique like Kinjutsu?" I asked one question after another, my expression becoming serious.
"What exactly do you mean by the term Ninjutsu? We wizards here can freely fly through the air by purely using Flying Magic," the girl replied with a confused expression.
I fell silent once again, as the girl's series of statements finally made me understand where I currently was.
I realized that I had been thrown into another alternate world of Naruto.
In this new universe, instead of the world being filled with Chakra energy, the people of this world used an energy that originated from life itself, known as Arc.
The existence of this energy allowed people to manifest Magic and become Wizards.
The essence of Arc flowed clearly through the blood of every human, replacing all ten Chakra pathway nodes that I had known from the old history of the shinobi.
Through the manipulation of this life energy, they no longer needed complicated hand seals. Instead, they used strings of ancient, rhythmic incantations to manipulate the elements of nature.
The current timeline was an era in which the land was dominated by five major Magic Kingdom factions.
These factions consisted of the Fire Magic Kingdom, the Water Magic Kingdom, the Wind Magic Kingdom, the Earth Magic Kingdom, and the Lightning Magic Kingdom.
These five superpower factions stood firmly at the top of the political food chain, controlling vast territories with massive magical military forces.
The balance of power between these five great thrones served as the main anchor that maintained peace and stability, while simultaneously creating constant cold tensions along the borders of the continent.
Aside from the existence of these five great Magic Kingdoms, this world was also inhabited by various smaller Magic Kingdoms scattered across every direction of the world.
These satellite kingdoms generally chose to become vassals or pay annual tribute to the major factions in exchange for protection against the threat of wild monsters and raids.
Their diverse territories stretched across fertile valleys, remote archipelagos, and barren wastelands, forming natural boundaries that separated the domains of the elemental rulers.
Each Magic Kingdom territory possessed a central Magic City, a magnificent location that served as a gathering place for various groups of Wizards seeking higher education at the Magic Academy.
These magical metropolises were built with towering crystal structures that pierced through the clouds, emitting the glow of protective Arc barriers that remained active twenty-four hours a day.
Thousands of young talents from different parts of the Kingdom sacrificed their youth there, competing fiercely to master the highest levels of spells taught by ancient masters.
The Magic City also served as a place where Wizards could receive and carry out various missions, as well as a defensive base for prominent Great Families and Wizard Clans.
The bulletin boards in the city center were always filled with formal mission scrolls, ranging from escorting merchant caravans to hunting dangerous ancient artifacts in forbidden zones.
Behind its thick fortress walls, political conspiracies and fierce rivalries between newly emerging Wizard Clans and Families continued to unfold as they fought to gain influence within the royal council.
Although this new world had truly become a completely unexpected variation of the Naruto world for me, its social structure, in broad terms, still felt almost exactly the same.
The name of the red-haired girl who saved me is Irina Uzumaki, and Irina is a young girl from the Uzumaki Witch Clan who is still closely related by blood to the Senju Witch Clan. Find the original chapter at g.com.
However, the main base of the Uzumaki Clan in this world prefers to settle on a floating island, or sky island, freely suspended in the air within the territorial boundaries of the Fire Magic Kingdom.
That legendary island floats high above, piercing through the layers of clouds, protected by an invisible magical dome that keeps the temperature inside warm.
According to Irina's explanation, the island is an airtight fortress that cannot be accessed by just any wizard from an outside kingdom without written permission from the clan elders.
Its unique geological structure allows the clan to live independently both economically and militarily, completely isolated from the bloody conflicts on the mainland.
In terms of its basic concept, this world still has many similarities to the original Naruto world that I know.
Although there are various things that have deviated and become different, overall, its essence remains similar.
Those similarities can be seen in the names of the great clans that dominate the political stage and military power in each of the elemental kingdoms.
However, in this alternate world, the Magic Kingdom system has been firmly established for hundreds of years.
The same historical condition also applies to the development of various ancient witch clans such as the Uzumaki and Senju.
Their legendary bloodlines are still respected as the main pillars supporting magical power, distinguishing them from the factions of new wizards in the modern era.
Because history has been going on for such a long time, instead of being within the timeline of one of the four World Wars of Ninja as in the original Naruto anime storyline, this world has already moved far beyond that, with civilization in this universe moving through a cycle of destruction on a much larger scale.
This alternate Naruto world is recorded to have gone through one hundred and eleven Magic World Wars. Yes, their dark history is filled with Magic World Wars, and they are absolutely not wars between ninja villages. Every global confrontation has always left permanent scars upon the geographical landscape of the continent.
Various regions of the Magic Kingdoms were completely devastated, leaving behind damage caused by the remnants of high-level spells that had spiraled out of control.
Even so, it turns out that this world of wizards also has a concept similar to ninjas, namely the profession of Assassins.
Based on the description of their appearance given by Irina, these assassins have a visual style that is very similar to the traditional ninjas from the world I once lived in.
They move silently through the shadows, wearing porcelain masks and dark clothing that conceals their presence.
The difference is that this secret assassin faction relies on daggers coated with compressed Arc energy, capable of piercing even the strongest magical barriers.
They operate in neutral territories to serve the political and espionage interests of the kingdoms' nobles.
Honestly, when I realized that I had ended up in an alternate Naruto world filled with Magic and Wizards instead of Chakra and Ninjas, I did not feel very happy.
An overwhelming sense of anxiety instead slowly began to gnaw away at my inner calm.
My mind immediately drifted back to the dark memories of the previous alternate Naruto world that implemented a gender-reversal concept.
A horrifying experience that had nearly cost me my sanity as I witnessed the tragic fate of the strongest figures in that parallel world.
The female version of Hashirama and the female version of Madara ended up dying horribly at the hands of members of the Otsutsuki Clan.
The visual memory of their lifeless bodies lying on the barren ground became a ghost that continued to haunt every corner of my mind at this moment. This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.
I could not help but think that the threats in this world might end just as tragically as they had in my previous world.
[Announcement: My Other Novels You Can Read!
As a Blacksmith in the World of Jujutsu Kaisen
My name is Kenji Satoshi. In my first life, I worked as a Game Item Designer—someone who designed weapons, artifacts, and various objects with strange functions for virtual worlds. My days were spent in front of a screen, drowning in endless work. Like an ending far too common, I died from exhaustion. Nothing dramatic—just darkness… and then I woke up again.
When I opened my eyes, I realized I was inside the body of a small child, bearing the exact same name as mine. That confusion, however, quickly turned into fear. This world was not the Earth I knew. I saw Cursed Spirits—creatures that should have existed only in anime. The strangeness deepened when I saw the name of the Shinomiya Family on television, and discovered Kuoh City while searching for information on the internet.
That was when I understood. This was not an ordinary world, but a crossover world formed from various anime I had once watched. A dangerous world—chaotic, unforgiving, and utterly hostile to an ordinary person like me. A simple yet terrifying question kept echoing in my mind: could I survive here?
The answer came when I was attacked by a Cursed Spirit and nearly died. At the very edge of destruction, something within me awakened—my Innate Technique. I gained the ability to forge, create, and reconstruct various objects with diverse functions using Cursed Energy.
This power did not make me strong from the start. My energy reserves were limited, and every creation carried its own risks. But one thing was certain—I would survive. In this cursed world, I would forge my own path.
As the White Spider-Man in Earth-76 with the Spider-Man System
My name is Dante Arashi, a man of mixed Japanese–American descent who lived a quiet, uneventful life in a small rural village in Japan. That night, I was walking alone through the forest, trying to shake off the exhaustion and irritation left behind by an especially frustrating day. The humid air clung to my skin, the chorus of cicadas echoed endlessly, and a cold breeze brushed against the treetops, rustling the leaves as if they were whispering secrets meant only for the dark.
For reasons I couldn’t quite explain, I kept walking deeper into the forest. Perhaps my mind simply needed distance from the suffocating rhythm of everyday life. Then, without any warning at all, a strange spider leaped down from a branch and bit into my hand.
The pain was unnatural—far beyond that of an ordinary insect bite. It felt as if fire had seeped directly into my bloodstream, spreading rapidly throughout my entire body. My heart pounded wildly out of rhythm, my head throbbed as though it were being struck again and again by a heavy hammer, and my vision spun violently, like a broken carousel spiraling out of control.
Seconds later… everything went completely dark.
When I finally regained consciousness, the world had changed.
I was no longer in the Japan I knew.
I had arrived in the Marvel Universe—Earth-76. As if that alone wasn’t insane enough, a Spider-Man System appeared inside my mind, offering abilities and functions that could make my life as Spider-Man far easier… or plunge it into even greater chaos.
I knew a little about this world—its characters, its enemies, its global threats—but Earth-76 was not a storyline I had ever read in any comic. There were new variables, new dangers, and unfamiliar elements that had never been told in any version before.
Now, I must answer one critical question: Can I survive as Spider-Man in a world where even legendary heroes can fall at any moment? And if I fail—will this world still have any hope left?]
