Hostile Diplomacy.

TMS Wrath, a near 1000 meter long behemoth of a ship, and only the third of it’s kind. An oval shape, rounded at the top with multiple ridges on the heavy armor it wore, three massive hangars on each side that served as automated service stations for the compliment of over a thousand combat drones.Full novel: Symarion: Call of the Void. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The flying cockroach as some dared to call it, was a new approach to battle, where quantity dictated the outcome of a conflict. And around it, 125 Terran vessels, with a singular mission, Strike at Eden and strip them of any offensive and defensive capacity to ready their world for invasion.

“ Cap Parker. TMS Swiftwind giving the green light. “ Communication officer Paris called out, interrupting Andrew Parker in his reverence of this new position.

Captain of a ship that, against the Seltran, already proved its efficiency. The Swarm tactic, supported by long range fire, had thrown Seltran forces into disarray. And the fact that the Killer Bee, the drone used by the Drone carrier design, had no active communication, which made it impossible to hack.

The Killer Bee was simplistic, and yet high tech. A Drone that launched with a pre set target mission, and then landed to restock, physically connecting to the Wrath to receive it’s new orders.

And with the amount of drones available on the ship, battle consisted of a constant flow of drones launching and landing, making human servicing impossible, which is why the Wrath was an exception in it’s high usage of Virtual intelligence. Something that would otherwise be avoided.

“ Give them the go ahead. 50 before we jump after. Remind the Vector class to warm up the EW suits. We need that gate structure in a piece. “ He commanded, using High Terran, a language more reflective of the old English that was once used on Terra. Something that set the Military apart from the rest of the Terran Commonwealth and the Common Language used there, a disfigured variation of the English language.

“ Roger that. “ Paris responded, going about passing on Parkers order.

Parker would smile to himself, watching the 180 degree display before him, of the ships outside, the six frigates charging for the edge of the system. They would need two hours to jump into Merag, cause a bit of havoc, and hopefully lure Eden’s forces out.

Then, 50 minutes later, the main force would jump in, to decimate Eden’s forces. To break through their Defensive line, and block any communications between what Eden called, the Catapult, and Eden itself, aware that they would likely self destruct the gate before allowing Terra to take control of it.

It was a tech the Terran High command was eager to get their hands on, and the Alien species on Eden, those Siren’s, where of high value too.

Suspected of infiltrating Terran space through their ability to change. And who, by the reports, were even able to convert dirt into gold.

There where so many applications they could be used for, once subdued. The prospective Scientific advances alone made many Scientists on Venus loose their mind over the opportunity to get their hands on just one of them.

“ 40 before the formation moves, we jump in 50, set the timer. “ Parker ordered.

“ Two Vector class up front with escorts, the moment they reach Merag, have them jam communications. “ He added sternly, leaning back in his command chair to close his eyes, savoring the moment before battle.

Andrew was only 27 now, extremely young to have such a high command, but his efforts on the Seltran front, and a little assistance of his Grandfather, a high ranking Admiral at Terran High Command, had gotten him this position. And Andrew, he had every intention to make the best of it.

“ Cap, got an unknown on radar. “ Officer Sullivan Milnov called out, tearing Parker from his joyous daydreaming of what the future may hold for him, after this mission.

“ Raise them ! Vigal is restricted until further notice . “ Parker insisted towards Paris.

“ On it Cap. “ Paris responded, and then called into the comms system, “ This is the TMS Wrath, you have entered a Restricted Area. Turn back, or be fired upon. “

“ Wait, Cap, it’s gone. “ Milnov reported.

“ Check again, and raise optical sensors to make sure. “ Parker grunted, guessing that it may have been a sensor glitch.

But he was mistaken, as the next moment, a vessel suddenly appeared in front of the fleet, causing what may seem like space rippling around it. The Wrath’s screen already framed the ship as the VI tried classifying it.

390 meter long, slim, with extended sections to each side, making it look like a cross from the front view, if more oval from a side view, both being displayed by the Computer now.

“ All ships ready particle dispensers, I want diffusion shields up. Target and eliminate that ship ! “ Parker ordered, based on the fact that the ship design was unknown, and had already been warned, assuming it was the same sensor contact seen only a moment ago.

“ Cap, got incoming comms from unknown vessel. “ Paris called out, but before he could be given a response, the whole com system acted up, only to blast music at near max volume.

“

HE WAS JUST A ROOKIE TROOPER AND HE SURELY SHOOK WITH FRIGHT,

“ The loudspeakers on the ships bridge begun to blast with the voice of what may have been a young woman.

“ Cut that Off ! “ Parker demanded loudly, trying to sound over the painful noise the speakers where blasting them with.

“

HE PACKED UP HIS EQUIPMENT AND MADE SURE HIS PACK WAS TIGHT,

“ the speakers screamed at them.

“ All ships, fire at will ! “ Parker shouted, having Paris sending the order via text as the sound on the ship barely allowed a transmission to cut through.

“

HE HAD TO SIT AND LISTEN TO THOSE AWFUL ENGINES ROAR,

“ the speakers screamed, followed by, “

AND HE AIN’T GONNA JUMP NO MORE

. “

At that point, ships on the Terran side opened fire, only for the other vessel to spin around it’s own axis, dodging left and right, up and down with impossible physics.

And then it suddenly opened it’s frontal armor, revealing what looked like a massive lens.

“

GORY, GORY, WHAT A HELL OF A WAY TO DIE!

“ The speakers blasted, and at that moment the Lens glowed with a purple light, followed by communications crackling, and the electronic view-screen flickering with static, so that, for a moment, no one could see what was happening.

For a few moments, no one on the bridge knew exactly what was happening as all electronic devices seemed to be interrupted by static, some of the computer systems even crashing while, through the speakers, that last line, as a chorus, blasted at them for two more times.

Then, sudden silence, and when the View-screen cleared, they could see the unknown ship being ripped through by explosions, seemingly tearing itself apart from within.

“ What, the hell was that ! ” Parker demanded, looking over the bridge crew as they tried to get the effected systems back up and running.

“ Detecting a high density of Gamma radiation, Cap. “ Milnov reported, which confused Parker a little. Terran ships where hardened against radiation, any space-faring vessel was, a Gamma based laser weapon maybe ?

No, lasers as such where dangerous, but Terran ships would not easily be taken down by them. They had special Carbon fiber plating, layered with diamond dust, it did not stop a laser, but it sure reduced it’s effectiveness significantly.

“ Cap, we lost contact to about twenty ships. “ Paris reported.

“ What ? Are their comms down ? “ Parker asked, but the next moment the Wrath shook as a destroyer exploded in close proximity. And when the screen focused on it, there where some ships in the area around that ship that seemed to vent atmosphere.

“ What the hell is going on ? “ Parker near whispered in disbelieve, and immediately ordered, “ Raise Terran High command. Report immediately about the attack, and send available ship specifications to them of the enemy vessel. “

“ Cap, getting signal again. That ship is still alive ! “ Milnov suddenly reported, the view-screen refocusing on the ship in question, where it was being shown, utterly in shambles.

“ Get a shuttle ready and-, “ Parker was about to order.

“ Cap, Movement ! “ Milnov interjected as it looked like long strings of black matter shot out between the different pieces of debris, rapidly pulling them back together.

“ Open Fire, and Launch the Bee’s ! “ Parker commanded, only to jolt as the enemy Vessel simply reshaped and begun to blast them with that accursed Chorus once more.

Again, electronics and screen would give off static, most systems starting to show failure as that unknown vessel released another blast of whatever radiation based weaponry it was using.

And when it passed, the ship again blew itself up, like the use of that weapon was a death sentence for itself.

“ Report ! “ Parker barked, watching as the screen cleared, only to be blinded by a sudden explosion right besides the TMS Wrath, as one of the heavy destroyers blew up.

“ Lost contact to 34 ships Cap. “ Paris reported.

“ Set drones to keep firing on that thing, I want it pulverized. Don’t let it recover again ! “ Parker demanded, and consider to retreat. The frigates should retreat the moment they noticed the fleet failing to jump in, and the losses they currently accumulated were nothing to laugh at.

“ He ain’t gonna Jump no more. “ He heard a woman sing joyfully then, and looking to his left, he could see a young service woman standing there, looking at the view-screen. And just a moment after, the unknown vessel lashed out with tendrils again, pulling itself together to blast the fleet with that chorus.

“ Weapons ! “ Parker called out, grabbing his firearm to point at the woman.

“ Who are you ?! “ He demanded, only to have the woman turn her crystal green eyes toward him, and respond only with what seemed like a bemused smile.

Another wave of static washed over the ship, and in his anger, parker discharged his firearm while the rest of the bridge-crew just aimed their guns at the woman.

The shot had no effect however. Clearly to have pierced her uniform, only for the same to repair itself before their eyes, while the woman reached up to spit out the bullet, and then hold it before her eyes, like it was something wondrous to look at.

“ Your a Siren ! “ Parker realized, briefed on their ability to shape change, and to be pretty durable at that, so that Parker called to the side, “ Raise Security, now ! “

“ Oh my. You think there is anyone left on this ship that can help you ? “ The woman spoke with a soft smile, a disparaging expression on her face as she looked at Parker, like she was telling him he was just an insignificant little boy to her.

“ Stop this attack ! “ Parker demanded, certain now that she was tied to the attack on their fleet.

The woman however just walked forward, all weapons primed on her as she stepped right in between Parker and the rest of the bridge crew, only to look at Parker as her form begun to change, gradually to become a young woman, with deep, emerald green eyes.

Her head was starting to sport the ears of some animal, while pristine white wings sprouted from her back, alongside a tail. She soon stood there, part human, part beast, dressed in little more then loincloth and some cloth covering her chest.

“ I said, stop it, Siren ! “ Parker demanded again.

“ Hm, Siren ? “ She mused, tilting her head to the side, while tapping her lips a few times with her right hands index-finger, as if contemplating if she liked the term.

“ No. “ She decided then, a black blur suddenly swirling around behind her, only to reveal itself as two tentacle like appendages, whom just created a black wall between Parker and the bridge crew.

“ I am not a Siren. “ She spoke with a smile, creating a chair below herself to sit upon, while a sudden vibration rocked through the ship. Which then was followed by that, black wall, to turn into something akin to glass, allowing Parker to see the last struggle of his bridge crew as they where flailing in space, the front of the ship having been completely severed.

Parker grew pale at that sight, only to jolt again as the speakers begun to blast that chorus again, followed by the crackling sounds of electronics failing on the ship.

“ Some of my daughters are referred to as Siren’s though. Silly girls. But you know, they put a lot of effort into that little world of theirs. “ The young woman finally spoke, while parker just dropped his gun, slumping back into his captains chair as he realized that they had no chance against this creature, leaving a sensation of hopelessness settling deep for the young man.

“ Why are you doing this ? “ He asked, as if she had not already hinted at her intent.

“ Oh, I am doing, business. “ She responded casually.

“ Business ?! “ Parker shouted in disbelieve, only to clench his teeth when that chorus happened again.

“ Stop this, you won ! “ He then near pleaded, wanting to save whatever remained of his fleet.

“ Now now, don’t get the wrong Idea. I do feel sorry for all those little friends of yours. But you know, when doing business, you ought to assure the other side knows, they are getting the best deal they possibly can. “ She responded, not at all looking like she was regretting her action with that cold smile on her face.

Parker would stare at her in disbelieve, watching how she was getting up with the chair below her disappearing, only for her to approach him.

“ And you see, I still have another gift. “ She suggests, tossing a small device onto the ground, that then begun to project a Star system above itself.

“ What ?! “ Parker hissed, looking to the device, and then her as she came closer, his body leaning back harder against the chair as she came to force herself into his lap.

“ What ! “ He repeated, only to have her right hand reach to grab him by the back of his head, forcing her into a kiss.

Somehow, no matter what he tried, he could not escape it, tasting something sweet as she danced about with her tongue. Soon even to feel how her other hand suddenly wrapped around his girt, firmly to massage it as she, somehow, had removed the garment that should have covered it.

Parker tried to resist, struggle against her violation, only to manage a half moaned, “ Stop ! “ at her when she finally broke the kiss. Though she still was massaging his girt as it was now rock hard in her hand despite the situation.

“ Saratoga, you call it I believe. “ The young woman moaned, and then simply leaned in closer, forcing him to experience the sensation of how her tight womanhood swallowed his erect girt.

“ Yes. Good boy. You be sure to tell your friends, if they plan to harm my girls again, I am going to visit Sol. “ She promised, and then lean in to force another kiss.

The woman then started to slowly ride him, force him to have sex with her, while Parker tried and failed to struggle against her.

And then, a few moments later, he could see a flash, coming from the projector, as Saratoga’s sun collapsed, the visible planetary mass on the screen being shattered by a shock-wave, before it begun to fall into a new orbit as Saratoga’s sun broke down into a singularity.

For a moment, that increased his struggle as his arms slammed against her side, trying desperately to push her off, only to slowly fail as she kept force-feeding him with something that heightened his arousal. Until his mind caved in, and instead of resistance, there was blind desire.

No longer would he resist, but actively thrust into her, while his hands sought to yank her garments off, enslaved to the lust she needed him to have for her.
