Phase 1: Under Eden

Taimanin: Young Mage in an Erotic World

In the basement of Under Eden, two Taimanins endured a hellish training to become a prostitute. For three weeks, this had been their hell.

Why would they endure such torture? The answer lies at a single name. Mizuki Shiranui, Yukikaze's missing mother. Going through this hell would be worth it if they could find clues about her.

Then, without warning, the training stopped. “W-what’s happening?” Yukikaze whispered, her voice strained with confusion and exhaustion. She turned to her senior, Rinko.

“I don’t know,” Rinko murmured, her own voice barely audible. “But if it’s stopping… it can only mean one thing.” A shared, grim understanding passed between them. The day had finally come. Their ‘training’ was over and now, they would begin their work as slave prostitutes.

The staff opened their restraints. Despite being physically free, if they tried to escape, the contract would take effect and shock them, or worse, explode their limbs. Though they never desired to escape as they are committed to this.

To Yukikaze she had always imagined her first time would be with Tatsurou, her childhood friend and crush. Now, that fragile hope was squash, giving her virginity away to some stranger.

They were then brought to the office of Real, the head of the brothel. “Well, well. How did the training go? I hope you found it the unique experience, satisfactory.” His voice was calm and professional, yet carried a distinct undertone of sadism. The speaker was an overweight older man with white hair, dressed in a red robe. This was Real.

“At last, weeks of waiting, and now I can repay back for what you did, Yukikaze.” Excitement and sadistic pleasure dripped from his tone. The speaker was an overweight, middle-aged man in a suit, with brown hair and a heavy jaw. Yazaki Muneichi, the brother of Real. “I hope you're prepared. I plan to make you carry my child!”

“SHUT UP, YOU SCUMBAG?!”

Her defiant shout triggered the contract's punishment. A jolt of electricity seared through her, wrenching a scream from her throat. Her legs buckled, sending her crashing to her knees.

"Yukikaze!" Rinko rushed forward, catching her as she fell, letting her lean into her body for support and comfort.

Real simply grinned, savouring her suffering, while Muneichi laughed openly at her pain.

‘KNOCK, KNOCK’

The sharp knocking halted them, now their attention are focus to the door. It swung open to reveal a young man in a jacket and cargo pants. His friendly smile gave him an air of innocence.

"Sorry if I'm interrupting something important," he said, his tone polite and professional. "I have something to discuss."

Before Muneichi could respond in anger, his brother stopped him with a firm hand on his shoulder, stepping in front of him.

“What can I do for you, young man?” Real asked, his tone calm and professional. But beneath the calm act, anger begin to grow, someone had ruined the moment. He had given the staff strict orders not to interrupt him, even if an important visitor wished to see him.

“Oh, you see…” All pretense of friendliness dropped. His expression went blank, his eyes turning cold. Before anyone could react, he had closed the distance, a blade near Real’s throat. “This is about the two Taimanins,” His voice becoming a low, threatening growl. “You will nullify their contracts. Now!?”

Real froze, the shock rooting him to the spot. His breath caught, his mind scrambling to process the blade at his throat and the friendly stranger turned to a frightening one.

Beside him, his brother Muneichi stumbled backward, a choked gasp escaping him. His face paled, all earlier cruelty replaced by pure fear.

The Taimanins did not react with relief, but with cold fury and deep suspicion.

For Yukikaze, this was no rescue, it was a sabotage. This stranger had just ruined their planned on infiltrating this place and any chance of finding a lead on her mom. Rage, begin to burned inside her, as she begins to glared Ryuji.

Beside her, Rinko’s gaze was analytical, her mind racing to find clues about him. Her eyes scanned the young man, trying to figure it out his identity. ‘Is this Asagi’s doing? A Taimanin sent to extract us? Has the mission been aborted?’ He didn’t dress like any Taimanin she knew, but then again, he may wear casual clothing to infiltrate this building.

Before Yukikaze was about to shout in rage. The sound of approaching footsteps echoed from the doorway. Everyone except Ryuji turned toward the noise.

Real does not know who he is, but he assumed he is a Taimanin considering his attire.

Muneichi recognized him, since he remembers the night of the attack, as he participates with these two female Taimanins.

The two Taimanins were in utter shock, where they can’t help but shouted his name. “TATSUROU?!”

But it was another voice that spoke next, cold and commanding. “Tatsurou,” Ryuji said. “Give them their weapons. And watch the pig in the suit.”

Tatsurou gave a nod and rushed to the women’s side, unzipping the bag he carried.

“Now,” Ryuji said, redirecting Real’s attention back to the knife and the demand. “Nullify their contracts.”

Even with a blade to his throat, Real still act like he is in control. “And why should I? I could just as easily make their limbs explode.” he threatened, his voice strained but defiant.

In response, Ryuji pulled the blade away from Real’s throat. For a split second, a smug grin started to form on Real’s face, before Ryuji drove the knife deep into the man’s left thigh.

“AAAARRGH!!” Real screamed, the sound ripping from his throat. But Ryuji wasn’t finished. He kept the blade lodged in the flesh and slowly began to twist it. A new wave of pain tore through Real, his professional composure evaporating into raw, gasping pain.

“Okay, I’ll end it! I’ll end the contract!” Real screamed, his composure shattering into terror, fearing not just his mortality but also a possible torture he might receive. But the pain didn’t stop. Ryuji yanked the knife free, sending another brutal wave of pain through him.

Despite the brutality, Real complied. Ending the contracts of these two Taimanins.

The moment she felt the contract vanish, Yukikaze stormed toward Ryuji, her eyes blazing. "You! Who are you? Do you have any idea what you've just ruined?!"

Ryuji opened his mouth to respond, but his instincts screamed something dangerous is coming, a wave of pure, concentrated malice was approaching at terrifying speed.

"We'll discuss it later." he cut in, his voice sharp and his gaze turn toward the door. His hand already on the sword’s handle, "Right now, get ready. Someone's coming. Fast."

The two female Taimanins shown a look of confusion. But Tatsurou didn't hesitate. He moved instantly to Ryuji’s side, sword held ready. He may not have understood the nature of his senpai’s sixth sense, but its accuracy was undeniable, it had located the girls in this building in such accuracy and manage to find out his identity.

The door burst open, revealing an empty hallway.

Tatsurou was frozen by the confusion as he saw nothing causing the door to open.

But Ryuji’s begins to act, unsheathe his blade to block an incoming invisible attack.

The sound of steel clash echoed through the room as he intercepted a strike from thin air, a blade aimed at him. Thanks to his Third Eye that heightened his senses, he had sensed not just the attack, but the form of the invisible attacker. Once he managed to block the attack, he shoved her blade upward, throwing her off balance and leaving her wide open. He immediately followed with a straight kick to her abdomen.

But before the blow could land, she disengaged, leaping backward out of range. As she did, her invisibility turn off, revealing her form.

She had moderate length brown hair, her bang unkempt. Her eyes, were red. She also wears a rabbit theme ribbon. Her chose of attire was weird to Ryuji, as she is wearing a tight rubber suit that cling to her body tightly, leaving little to the imagination. The weapons she is using are claw blades on each of her hand. Her expression was one of sadistic excitement, as if witnessing their suffering aroused her.

The Taimanins were in utter shocked not just because of the sudden attacked but knowing who the attacker is.

“Ma… ma?” Yukikaze can’t help but called to her. Her mother who had been missing for five years suddenly reveal herself.

Before the shock could paralyze her completely, Ryuji’s voice cut through the silence, cold and commanding. “Focus. She may be your mom, but right now, she’s the enemy.”

“HAHAHAHAHA…!”

A sudden burst of laughter erupted from Real. He glared at Ryuji with manic glee, already savoring the pain to come. “You’re going to suffer for what you did to me, Taimanin, because you’re facing the Incubus King’s greatest assassin!”

With that, he scrambled to his feet and grabbed his brother, using the distraction to flee the room.

Ryuji ignored their escape and focused entirely on the woman. His priority was to understand her abilities and quickly. “What is her power?”

Rinko answered despite her distrust. “Water Art. She uses it for illusions and as a weapon…”

But before she could elaborate further, Shiranui moved. Waters started to appeared and forming into clones. The clones rush toward the Taimanins while the original launched herself at Ryuji, claws aimed at him.

Ryuji managed to block every one of her attacks, but soon grew confused by her intention. Her strikes seemed shallow, never aimed at his vitals. He landed on one conclusion: poison. Her claw blades were laced with it. If he wanted to go on the offensive, he would have to be careful not to get scratched. He glanced at the Taimanins, hoping they were handling the clones, but the situation was the opposite.

The girls movements were slow and sloppy, still fatigued from the hell they had endured. They were forced onto the defensive. Yukikaze, however, was faring better than Rinko, using her lightning attacks at a distance to keep the clones at bay.

Tatsurou, on the other hand, was holding his own. Though not an amazing fighter compared to the girls, he was still a Taimanin, and he managed to eliminate two clones. He couldn't assist Ryuji, however, as he was focused on helping his sister.

This was completely outside Ryuji's calculations. He had hoped that with the girls' help, they could fight their way out. But in their weakened state, they were becoming a liability.

Before his mind could formulate a new plan, he sensed a surge of energy emanating from Shiranui. Taima Particles were flooding out, quickly filling the entire room. Ryuji launched a relentless offensive, pressing his attack in a desperate attempt to stop whatever she was planning.

The clones suddenly dissipated, giving the Taimanins a moment of relief from the constant pressure, until something worse appeared. The room began to shake, the ground cracked, revealing the below a deep black abyss. The walls slowly transformed into wet, disgusting flesh. Tentacles sprouted from the surfaces and lashed out at them. The three try their best to fend off the constant wave of attack from the tentacles and avoid falling down to the abyss.

Ryuji, by contrast, seemed entirely unaffected by the nightmare unfolding around him. He remained suspended in the air, untroubled by the fall that threatened the others, and the lashing tentacles passed through him as if he were a ghost.

‘Is that how powerful her illusion is? Even if you know it's an illusion, the body can still be fooled. I wasn’t affected because of my Third Eye, which enhances my senses enough that my body can distinguish what’s real and what’s fake. I should’ve pull out my handgun to pressure this woman to dispel it. Although she may have a counter to that.’

It’s hard to think of a way to beat her, since he lacks the knowledge of this world power system. He couldn’t gauge the limits of her Water Art. Its sheer versatility made her unpredictable and dangerous.

“YUKIKAZE!!!”

Tatsurou’s scream tore through the chamber. The floor where Yukikaze stood gave way, crumbling into a dark abyss. Just as she began to fall, Rinko lunged forward, her hand closing desperately around Yukikaze’s wrist.

“Hng?!” Rinko grunted, her muscles trembling as she fought to hold on, her own strength nearly spent.

Hanging over the void, Yukikaze’s eyes found her mother. A fragile, desperate hope flickered within her. “Ma…. Ma…?” she whispered, the plea raw and quiet. “Please…?”

For a heartbeat, she searched Shiranui’s face for any sign of the woman she remembered. She found none. Her mother’s expression remained unchanged, still showing sadistic excitement in their despair. The last fragment of Yukikaze’s hope shattered.

Tatsurou tried to cross the gap to reach the girls but was slapped back by the thrashing tentacles each time he attempted it. Frustration mounting, he made a reckless decision: to end this nightmare quickly, he charged directly at Shiranui, hoping to shatter her nightmarish illusion at its source.

“Tatsurou, stop!” Ryuji saw the reckless move and shouted to intercept him, but a sudden swarm of bubbles surged between them. Not knowing what these bubbles are, Ryuji had to pause, firing precise and quick shots with his handgun from a distance to clear them away. Bullets cover in flame begins to burst out of the barrel, clearing many bubbles. He couldn’t afford to take risks.

Meanwhile, Tatsurou raised his blade, channeling his Wind Art to sharpen its edge for one final, desperate strike. Until a slick tentacle wrapped around his ankle and yanked him off his feet.

Shiranui see this opportunity and lunged at Tatsurou with her claw blades.

Tatsurou see this, brace himself from the incoming pain, then suddenly been push by Ryuji. Causing Ryuji arm to be hit instead.

While the wound wasn’t deep, he still got hit by poison. The poison starting to take the effects, his body feeling hot and his crotch starting to get irritated. For some reason, he wants to take off his pants to relieve himself of this excitement.

Ryuji was completely stunned by this ridiculous situation. ‘What the HELL?! Of course, it’s an aphrodisiac poison. This is an Eroge world after all, things like this HAVE to HAPPENED!!!’

Tatsurou, feeling ashamed, attempted to make amends, but was quickly restrained by tentacles.

The battle was over. The Taimanin, having failed to overcome Shiranui's illusion, lay beaten. Their minds slowly broke under the illusion's effects.

Ryuji was weakened by poison, and Shiranui prepared to have her fun with him.

But before she could begin ravaging Ryuji, a sudden burst of flame erupted from the mage, causing the surrounding illusion to dissolve.

Shiranui’s sadistic glee vanished into surprise. This young man had produced a fire strong enough to dispel her technique. And yet, the heat of this fire wasn’t hot enough to burn, only warmth.

Freed from the crumbling illusion, the Taimanins felt the same strange warmth envelop them. As the flames surged in their direction, they braced instinctively for pain, only to find the fire wash over them like a gentle, radiant heat, leaving them unscathed but stunned.

To Tatsurou, the warmth felt familiar, it was the same calming presence he had felt during his first encounter with Ryuji.

Ryuji slowly pushed himself up, his body now partially covered in gentle, clinging flames. When he opened his eyes, they had shifted from brown to a burning amber, glowing with fierce determination despite suffering from the aphrodisiac. He reached into his pocket, withdrew a paper talisman, and pressed it firmly against his wounded arm. And yet no reaction to the pain.

“If you think you’ve won, think again. I won’t forgive myself unless I protect these people and put an end to you!”
