From Enemy to Companion
Leon led Selena outside the city walls.
The journey was silent.
Not an uncomfortable silence.
Just... quiet.
Selena walked beside him.
Her fitted snow-white robe swayed with each step.
The gold sash emphasized her narrow waist.
Her G cup tits rose and fell with steady breaths.
Her peach-shaped ass moved with graceful rhythm.
Her thick thighs were bare beneath the robe’s slit.
Her white silver hair caught the sunlight.
Her golden eyes were fixed ahead.
She didn’t know what to say.
She didn’t know how to talk to him.
He was her master.
Her contractor.
The man who had taken everything from her.
But also the man who had given her everything.
Power.
Freedom.
A new life.
She was confused.
Leon glanced at her.
He noticed her silence.
He noticed her stiffness.
He smiled to himself.
*She’s still uncomfortable around me.*
*That’s okay.*
*She’ll come around.*
*She’s my beast-girl now.*
*My companion.*
*My woman.*
*I used to hate her.*
*I wanted revenge.*
*I wanted to make her suffer.*
*But now...*
*Seeing her fight for me.*
*Seeing her trust me.*
*Seeing her choose me over her own family.*
*Something changed.*
*She’s not just a contract anymore.*
*She’s mine.*
*And I’ll treat her right.*
"Dear Selena."
His voice broke the silence.
Selena’s golden eyes flickered toward him.
"Yes?"
"You know," Leon said softly, "you’re even more beautiful now than before."
Selena’s cheeks flushed.
Her steps faltered.
"Leon... you shouldn’t say such things."
"Why not?" His smile was warm. "It’s true. Your beauty is otherworldly. Divine. Every time I look at you, I’m amazed."
Selena looked away.
Her heart pounded.
*Why does he say things like that?*
*He’s supposed to hate me.*
*I’m supposed to hate him.*
*But...*
She couldn’t deny it.
She felt safe with him.
She felt seen.
Not like in the Blackheart family.
Where she was just a body to ogle.
Just a servant to use.
Here, with him, she was something more.
She was powerful.
She was respected.
She was desired.
Not for her body alone.
But for who she had become.
"Leon." Her voice was soft. "Why are you being so kind to me?"
Leon stopped walking.
He turned to face her.
His purple eyes met her golden ones.
"Because you’re mine, Dear Selena. And I take care of what’s mine."
Selena’s breath caught.
Her heart fluttered.
*Mine.*
*He said I’m his.*
*And he said it like it was a good thing.*
*Like it was something to be proud of.*
Leon reached out.
His fingers brushed her cheek.
She didn’t flinch.
She didn’t pull away.
"Don’t worry," he said gently. "I know you’re still uncomfortable. I know you’re still figuring things out. Take your time. I’ll wait."
Selena’s eyes widened.
*He’ll wait?*
*He’s giving me time?*
She had expected him to demand everything immediately.
To use her however he wanted.
But he was patient.
He was gentle.
He was... kind.
"Thank you," she whispered.
Leon smiled.
"Let’s go. We have monsters to kill."
He turned and continued walking.
Selena followed.
Her heart was lighter.
Beyond the city, a deep forest stretched before them.
Danger lurked at every turn.
Deep, resonant roars occasionally echoed from the forests.
The ground was thick with the tracks of fierce beasts.
After clearing all the monsters in the dungeon earlier, Selena had shot straight up to Level 10.
Then, after evolving into the Divine Beast White Tiger, she had unlocked three more beast-soul skills.
Combined with the original "Tiger’s Thunderous Roar," Selena now possessed four powerful abilities.
[Sacred Beast Skill · Tiger’s Thunderous Roar] was the enhanced version of the previous S-rank skill.
An AoE damage plus crowd control move.
Already incredibly powerful.
After upgrading to a Sacred Beast Skill, it gained an additional sustained intimidation effect.
A mob-clearing masterpiece.
A PvP god-tier ability.
With one massive shockwave, even if any survivors remained, they would first be paralyzed by the golden lightning, then suffer from the sustained intimidation effect.
Rounding it out—they’d be lambs to the slaughter!
Strong. So damn strong!
Whether for PvP or clearing mobs, it was incredibly versatile.
The more enemies, the better the value.
Leon looked at the next skill with satisfaction.
[Sacred Beast Skill · White Tiger Judgment] could condense the power of the White Tiger to unleash a judgment blade.
It struck multiple times in rapid succession.
With a 100% defense-penetration effect.
The attack range was narrow and elongated.
Not as wide-ranging as Tiger’s Thunderous Roar.
But with the 100% defense penetration, it excelled against single targets.
In one-on-one fights, it would obliterate everything.
Leon glanced at the remaining two skills.
He couldn’t help but draw in a sharp breath.
[Sacred Beast Domain · White Tiger]: Condenses a small domain.
Within this domain, all sounds made by allies are instantly erased.
During this period, allied attacks are imbued with the power of the White Tiger.
Gaining tearing and piercing effects.
While the domain is active, allied figures become blurred.
Difficult to track with the naked eye.
[Limited Skill · Sacred Beast Heavenly Fall] (Forbidden Curse Level): After a brief incantation, a terrifying energy storm descends upon the area.
Like a meteor falling from the sky.
The attack range expands as the level increases.
Note: This is a Limited Skill—can only be used three times per day!
"Hiss."
Leon sucked in a breath.
The first one, "Sacred Beast Domain · White Tiger," seemed to be a large-scale buff skill.
Group damage increase.
Sound suppression.
Stealth!
Just the effects alone were already ridiculous.
And it benefited all allies.
Truly powerful!
As for the other one—it was an AoE skill.
Leon couldn’t quite judge its quality yet.
But seeing the "Forbidden Curse Level" tag at the end...
He had a general idea.
A Sacred Beast unleashing a Forbidden Curse-level skill.
Just how devastating would that be?
Plus the restriction of only three uses per day.
Generally, only the most overwhelmingly powerful techniques had such long cooldowns, right?
Just how terrifying was its true power?
Leon almost didn’t dare to imagine.
The next skill would unlock at Level 20.
"Level 20, huh?"
