[Stiles’ House]
Stiles, after witnessing Scott Malcolm do what no normal human being should even be remotely capable of, is seated in his room, researching Lycaon.
Results include ancient Greek mythology about a king of Arcadia who killed his own son, cooked him, and served him to Zeus to see if the gods were truly all-knowing.
Infuriated, Zeus turned Lycaon and his people into half-wolf, half-human and restored Nyctimus to life.
Stiles dug deeper and found weaknesses associated with werewolves, such as wolfsbane and silver.
In his research, Stiles found that wolves don’t walk alone; they move in packs, with the Alpha being the Leader.
While he was deep in his research, a sudden knocking came from his door, startling him and bringing him out of his trance.
Quickly closing his laptop, he went to check who was at the door.
Opening the door, he saw that it was just Scott.
He sighs in relief.
“Get in,” quickly urged him to come inside.
“You gotta see this.
I’ve been up all night reading websites, books, all this stuff.”
“How much Adderall did you have today?” Scott asked with a smile on his face.
“A lot…
Doesn’t matter, just listen,” Stiles quickly pages through his notes on lycaon.
” Is this about the body?
Did they find out who did it?” Scott asked.
“No, they’re still questioning people, even Derek Hale,” Stiles replied.
“Oh, the guy who was in the woods that we saw the other day,”
“Yeah-well, yes, but that’s not the point here, okay,” Stiles said quickly, impatiently.
“Then what, then?” Scott asked.
“Remember the joke from the day, hah- well, not a joke anymore,” Stiles said, his face going from a momentary laugh to a more concerned look.
Scott looked at him, confused as to what he was talking about.
“The wolf-the bite in the woods.” Stiles reminded him.
“Look, I’ve been doing all this research-DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHY A WOLF HOWLS?” Stiles asked.
“Should I?”
“It’s a signal- ok, w-when a wolf’s alone, it howls to signal its location to the rest of the pack, so if you heard a wolf howling, I-it means other wolves could’ve been nearby, y’know, maybe even a whole pack of them?” Stiles said with concern in his tone.
“A whole pack of wolves?” Scott asked.
“No, werewolves,” Stiles said, changing the atmosphere in his room.
“Are you seriously wasting my time with this?
You know I’m picking up Olivia in an hour.” Scott said, picking up his bag to leave.
“I saw you and that Malcolm guy in the field today, Scott.
Okay, w-w-what you guys did wasn’t just amazing, okay, it was impossible.” Stiles tries to reason with Scott.
“Okay, I made a good shot -” “NO, you made an incredible shot-the way you moved you speed-your reflexes?” Stiles interrupts him, taking his bag and putting it on the bed.
“People can’t just suddenly do that overnight, a-and there’s the vision and the senses and the way I’ve noticed you don’t need your inhaler anymore.”
“OKAY dude I can’t think about this now.
We’ll talk tomorrow.” Scott said.
“TOMORROW, WHAT?
NO!
The full moon’s tonight, don’t you get it?” Stiles yells.
“What are you trying to do, I-I just made first line.
I got a date with a girl I can’t believe wants to go out with me.
Everything in my life is somehow perfect.
Why’re you trying to ruin it?”
“I’m trying to help,” Stiles replied.
“You’re cursed, Scott, y’know it’s not the moon that causes you to physically change; it also just so happens when your bloodlust will be at its peak.”
“Bloodlust?” Scott asks with a serious look on his face.
“Yeah, your urge to kill,” Stiles answers.
“I’m already feeling an urge to kill Stiles,” Scott says, clearly getting angrier and more annoyed.
Stiles fumbles around in his desk looking for a book.
“You gotta hear this,” he reaches for a book on his table.
“The change can be caused by anger or anything that raises your pulse.
Alright, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone raise your pulse like Olivia does-you gotta cancel this date.” Stiles reaches for Scott’s bag and pulls out his phone.
“Gotta call her right now.”
“What’re you doing?” Scott asks with an annoyed look on his face.
“I’m canceling the date for-”
“NO, GIVE IT TO ME.” He pushes and pins Stiles against the wall with his left arm while raising his right hand into a fist.
“AAARGH!” Scott yells with a deep roar behind his yell of rage, then shoves Stiles’ chair to the ground.
Breathing heavily and enraged, he notices what he just did, and a wave of guilt comes over him.
“I’m sorry.” He says, backing away from Stiles.
“I-I gotta go get ready f-for the party.”
Scott grabs his bag and heads to the door while Stiles is still standing against the wall, shocked by what just happened.
“I’m sorry,” Scott said one more time before opening the door and leaving.
Stiles bangs the back of his head against the wall in frustration, then picks up his chair and spins it around, revealing three claw marks on the back of his chair.
[Malcolm’s house]
Malcolm steps out of the shower tower on his waist dries himself off, and gets dressed in an oversized blue T-shirt and black cargo pants, white sneakers, and a watch.
Then puts on a nice woody fragrance.
He goes downstairs to grab my keys and head out, only to find Gloria dangling them in her hand.
“So, who is she?” She asks with an evil smile on her face.
“Oh Fuck no”
“Oh Fuck yes”
“I promise I’ll tell you everything when I get home.
For now, please spare me the interrogation,” I said with a pleading look in my face.
“Fine, but at least give me a name.” She asked.
“Allison-Allison Argent”
“Well, try not to get her pregnant on the first night.
I don’t want to be the talk of the town by next week.” She tosses the keys to me, then walks into the living room.
“Wha-huh, why would you even think that?
I’m 16, ma.” I go to the garage to escape her verbal torture.
I decided to take the Black Audi R8 to avoid getting the stare from Allison’s parents, especially Victoria.
[Argents House]
After arriving, I see Olivia and Scot make their way to the party.
I decided to park the car and knock on the door.
I know what you’re gonna say: “What in the actual FUCK is wrong with you walking into a house full of hunters?
Are you trying to die?”
But no, I just have manners; I wasn’t raised by the streets; I got class.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Then the door opens, and standing in front of me was Chris Argent, Allison’s dad.
The look on his face was calm and calculating, with eyes that spoke more than words.
“Good evening, Mr Argent.
It’s a pleasure to meet you.
I’m here to pick up Allison for the party tonight.” I was towering over him, but I took off my hat to show respect and extended my hand out for a handshake.
He took my hand with a firm grip and shook it with a smile, so I returned the favor with a grip of my own.
“Nice to meet you, kid.
So you’re the other kid trying to steal one of my daughters from me, huh?” He said with a smile.
“Dad is someone at the door.” Allison came down the stairs after watching the entire time.
“Hey Allison, I was just introducing myself to your dad,” I said, giving a knowing look.
“Ohh, Malcolm your here, ready to go?” She asked.
“It was nice meeting you, Mr Argent.
I’ll have her back home before Midnight.”
We headed towards the car, and I opened the door for her.
Looking back at Chris, I waved him goodbye with a smile before getting in the car and driving to the party.
“Sorry about my dad; he’s a little protective of my sister and me,” she said.
“A little?” I said, raising an eyebrow at her.
“Ok, more than a little.”
We laughed.
