When Rimuru finally finished consuming Shizue’s body with his Predator ability, a couple of minutes had passed.

I suppose he decided to take it easy as a sign of respect.

Three days after the battle, the three adventurers (Kaval, Gido, and Ellen) left, after Rimuru and I promised them that we would take care of Shizue until she woke up, so they had nothing to worry about.Full novel: Tensura: An even greater anomaly — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

They also told us that they would inform the guild master in Blumund, named Fuze, that Rimuru was interested in going to their village.

Overall, it was a pleasant farewell where we took the opportunity to give them a set of new armor and clothes, as theirs were completely torn apart.

On Rimuru’s side and mine, there was a moment when we separated to do our own things.

When I entered his cabin to inform him that I was going to be away on a trip for a couple of days, I saw him in his newly acquired human form completely naked; although, well, there wasn’t much to see anyway.

—Oh, sorry, my bad I guess for not touching.

Nice hair, by the way —I said as I turned around.

—Wait, wait!

What did you want?

—he said to me after rapidly changing to his slime form.

—Nothing urgent, you can finish what you’re doing.

“I’ve already finished!” he told me quickly and somewhat agitated.

—Haha, don’t be embarrassed.

If you want, I can also show you my human form when I get it.- I said laughing with amusement.

“Why would I want to see your naked human form, idiot?” he shouted at me.

—Just kidding, just kidding.

Well, I just wanted to tell you that I’m going to be out of the village for a few days.

It won’t be for long, just about three days at most.

There’s no problem, right?

—Of course not, go out whenever you want.

By the way, what do you need to do?

—Well, the other day while training far from the village, I thought I felt something strange, so I’m going to take a look.

Nothing more.

“Do you want someone to accompany you?” he asked me.

—No, thank you.

I’m fine going alone.

When I return, I will tell you what I have discovered, in case I discover anything.

“Sure, be careful and don’t get into trouble,” the blue slime said to me with joy and happiness.

—Likewise, I hope that by the time I return, everything damaged in the battle is as good as new —after saying that, I started to leave the tent, but before completely exiting, I turned around and said while laughing—: By the way, you can continue with your things now.

It was the last thing I said before leaving, while in the background I could hear Rimuru cursing me with all his heart.

I just laughed.

I didn’t take long to leave the village after preparing a few things, like some food, water, and a couple of healing potions from Rimuru, just in case.

With nothing else to do, I headed west, where the ogre village was located, if I wasn’t mistaken.

During the journey, I stopped a couple of times to confront and analyze some forest creatures.

My intention with this were to test in combat the technique that I had finally been able to learn at a good level: the Mana Rotation.

It was a very useful technique that I was glad to have learned.

Now using it was as natural as breathing, even though i couldn’t absorb too many magicules.

The night hadn’t even fallen yet, and I was about to arrive at the ogre village.

Loud noises could be heard even from a distance.

The noises were heavy and numerous; they were the footsteps of the orc army.

Not wanting to be discovered, I used the aura-concealing ability I had mastered during my time alone in the forest.

It was nowhere near Formhide, but it was useful.

I climbed to the top of a tree and looked toward where this army was.

What I saw was a bit shocking.

Although it was only a part of the entire army, around ten thousand, seeing so many orcs marching together like madmen toward what I recognized as the destroyed ogre village was shocking.

Paying more attention to the situation, I could see that the ogres Rimuru would name were still trying to fight the orcs.

Well, actually, only Benimaru was trying; the others were trying to convince him to escape.

This back-and-forth between leaving or staying caused the orcs to surround them.

I don’t know how long they would have been fighting, but they already had some minor wounds and were exhausted.

I don’t know how they would manage to escape in the original story, but this time I decided to help them.

Jumping from the tree I was in, I covered more than a hundred meters before landing next to the group of ogres, who immediately startled.

“Who are you?” Benimaru asked me.

Are you here to finish us off like these disgusting orcs?

—No, I’m here to help you escape.

Don’t worry, I’m not a threat.

“I can’t escape without avenging my people,” shouted the red-haired ogre.

“Brother!” —the sad voice of Shuna was heard.

—I understand your desire for revenge, but dying here like a fool won’t do any good.

Better survive and gain enough strength to achieve what you want —I told him.

Before he could say anything, I conjure an attack of light swords, like the Swords of Judgment from Black Clover and I launched them toward the direction where there were fewer orcs.

Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.

The whole group nodded at me gratefully and ran off.

Well, it seems I arrived a bit late to do anything.

What a shame, I would have liked to get some information, I guess you can’t always win something.

I was about to leave, but my senses detected a peculiar presence under some rubble a few meters to my right.

She was an ogre girl who seemed to be alive but buried in the rubble.

The orcs seemed to have found her by scent and were approaching her with the intention of devouring her, while she simply cried.

I thought that if I saved her, the future could change too much; after all, if just six Kijin were able to make the tempest federation so powerful, imagine one more.

But somehow, amidst so many bodies, armor, and debris, I locked eyes with the girl, and that sense of despair she conveyed was so overwhelming that I couldn’t ignore it.

I quickly used the Intrinsic Skill: Coercion to surprise the nearby orcs, and as they turned to look at me, I launched a barrage of fire, light, and air projectiles at the orcs blocking my path to the girl.

This first attack was not enough to eliminate all the obstacles, so this time I froze those closest to her to form a kind of icy barrier around her.

Without wasting any time, I jumped to where the girl was and, using earth and wind magic, I removed the debris.

Without wasting any time checking her wounds, I carefully picked her up and prepared to leave.

I threw a sphere of light into the sky that quickly blinded the orcs trying to catch up with me.

“Close your eyes,” was all I said to the girl before leaping with all my strength, plus the boost of wind magic, before the blinding light burst forth.

I jumped in the opposite direction from where our village was, in case they wanted to follow us.

Anyway, I advanced a few kilometers before circling around the orc army and then returning to the village.

During this time, the girl lost consciousness at some point during the journey, so I couldn’t talk to her.

Now feeling calmer, I stopped in a safe place and began to examine the ogre girl.

She seemed to be young and had black hair with a slight purple tinth .

Her legs were broken and she had a few broken ribs as well.

With nothing to wait for, I used two of the potions Rimuru had given me, while at the same time using the only healing spell I knew: Healing Light Particles, yes, light healing magic from the character Licht or Patri from Black Clover; I like light, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Jokes aside, the effect of the potions and magic didn’t take long to show results.

I could see how, at the speed of the human eye, his legs aligned and healed at the same time as his ribs.

“Speculator, analyze her state.”

“Speculator”: —This ogre has been healed of all her physical wounds, but mentally she is exhausted.

It will take a couple of hours for her to wake up.—

“As long as I have time to return to the village without any problems, she can sleep as much as she wants,” I thought.

I’ll let her sleep as much as she needs, and when she’s ready, we’ll head to the village.
