The deeper he looked into the world of Bloodlines, the more he realized just how vast it truly was.
Bloodlines such as Prayer, Wish-Granting, and Precognition all belonged to the mysterious Special Type.
When Special Type Bloodlines were first awakened, they were truly blessed by the heavens. Most began at the terrifying S-rank, while only a small number awakened at A-rank. So far, no Special Type Bloodline with an initial rank below A had ever been discovered.
Unfortunately, those who awakened Special Type Bloodlines were exceedingly rare, with only one appearing among tens of millions of people. They were practically on the verge of extinction.
And even when one occasionally appeared, they were usually hidden away by major powers and treated as trump cards. As a result, outsiders rarely had the opportunity to learn of their existence.
Among them, Ryan once remembered his mentor mentioning an even more monstrous existence.
The Multi-Bloodline User.
Multi-Bloodline Users were slightly more common than the nearly extinct Special Type Bloodline Users. However, once one was discovered, they would immediately become the target of competition among major wealthy families and be cultivated as core talents.
Possessing two Bloodlines simultaneously was already relatively rare.
Possessing three was even more exceptional.
As for those capable of simultaneously possessing more than three Bloodlines, their appearance would undoubtedly stir up a tremendous storm of competition across the Crimson Expanse.
Multi-Bloodline Users generally possessed extremely diverse abilities. If utilized properly, their combat methods could be incredibly varied, making them difficult for opponents to predict.
Of course, there was a price for such versatility.
They required vast amounts of resources to evolve their different Bloodlines. However, their adaptability was astonishing, and their potential was equally terrifying.
As long as they were properly nurtured and did not die prematurely, they would almost certainly grow into some of the most powerful existences of their generation.
The greatest advantage of Multi-Bloodline Users lay in their passive abilities.
Passive abilities could be stacked together and remained effective regardless of which Bloodline they were currently using, allowing multiple Bloodlines to strengthen the user simultaneously.
Active abilities, however, were different.
Their active abilities changed according to the Bloodline currently being used.
Although different active abilities could be cast one after another, simultaneously activating abilities from multiple Bloodlines was extremely difficult. Unless a Multi-Bloodline User received expert guidance and mastered specialized Multi-Bloodline combat techniques to perfection, they could not easily achieve it.
In summary, there were three major internal factors that determined a Bloodline Fighter’s true strength.
[Strength Realm]
This represented the foundation of a Bloodline Fighter’s strength and was comparatively easy to improve.
Meditation, refining pills, absorbing Origin Stones and beast cores, as well as life-and-death experiences could all contribute to the improvement of one’s Strength Realm.
[Bloodline Grade Tier]
This represented the coefficient that amplified a Bloodline Fighter’s overall strength and was considerably more difficult to improve.
Increasing one’s Bloodline Grade Tier required absorbing and refining large quantities of Bloodline Essence or beast cores of the same type. Even then, Bloodline evolution was never guaranteed.
[Bloodline Affiliation]
This represented the fixed quantity of Bloodlines a person possessed and was extremely difficult to change.
Once a Bloodline was initially awakened, its affiliation was essentially determined.
Ryan had just finished reviewing and organizing all the basic knowledge he had learned at the Bloodline Institute.
Now that he had successfully awakened his Bloodline and broken through to the Elemental Power Realm, Stage One, he already had a rough plan for his future growth.
All that remained was to gradually refine that plan and put it into practice.
With this thought, Ryan’s gaze fell upon the glowing slot embedded in the waist of the Creation Furnace.
"Mira, how do I use this Boundless Creation Slot?"
[Detecting...]
<Ding!>
[Host, no ownerless Bloodline Essence has been detected in your surroundings.]
[The Boundless Creation Slot cannot be used at this time.]
[Please obtain ownerless Bloodline Essence before attempting to use this function.]
"Oh, I understand."
Ryan nodded thoughtfully.
"Although the function has already been unlocked, I don’t have any ownerless Bloodline Essence, so I can’t use it yet."
He looked at the Creation Furnace for a moment before continuing,
"Mira, let’s leave it for later. I don’t need to use the Creation Furnace right now. What should I do next?"
"Understood, Master. I will immediately disengage from the spirit-attachment state. You only need to move your mind again and transfer the Creation Furnace into your body."
As Mira’s voice fell, the Creation Furnace suddenly flashed with white light.
The translucent, beautiful figure of Mira swiftly emerged from within the furnace and floated before Ryan.
"Since you have already broken through to the Elemental Power Realm, Stage One, I recommend moving the Creation Furnace into your Origin Energy Sea."
She smiled gently.
"That way, you can slowly nourish the Creation Furnace with your Origin Energy, which will be beneficial to its recovery and repair."
"Okay."
Ryan did not waste any words.
With a thought, the damaged Creation Furnace floating before him suddenly rose into the air.
Then, with a flash of black light, it rapidly shrank and transformed into a streak of darkness that shot directly into his body.
In the next instant, the Creation Furnace appeared within Ryan’s Origin Energy Sea.
"Master, if you have any questions, you can always contact me."
Mira’s voice echoed within his mind.
"Even after entering the Origin Energy Sea, I can still receive and respond to you at any time."
She gave him a sweet smile before following the Creation Furnace into his Origin Energy Sea and disappearing completely from his physical surroundings.
"Mira."
After a brief pause, Ryan finally asked the question that had been bothering him.
"What exactly was that spirit-attachment state you were in earlier? Why did you seem a little... stiff?"
From within his Origin Energy Sea, Mira replied in her sweet, pleasant voice,
"The spirit-attachment state is a profound state in which I completely integrate with the Creation Furnace. It is also known as spirit-artifact unity."
"In this state, I function similarly to an all-purpose butler, allowing me to continuously monitor your condition and provide assistance based on your situation."
"I can provide you with the most timely and detailed prompts, as well as more intuitive and meticulous support."
Mira paused briefly before continuing,
"However, because the Creation Furnace is currently at a relatively low rank, my intelligence is somewhat inferior while in the spirit-attachment state."
"Once the Creation Furnace is upgraded, my intelligence will gradually improve as well."
"Oh, so that’s how it is..."
Ryan suddenly understood.
Thinking back to his experience while Mira had been in the spirit-attachment state, he could indeed feel the difference.
Aside from the slight stiffness in her manner, the prompts had been exceptionally clear and timely.
The explanations had also been detailed, comprehensive, and far more intuitive.
Overall, Ryan felt that the state was actually quite useful.
