The medicinal power of the Exquisite Burning Blood Pill was both overbearing and long-lasting. Even now, Ryan could still feel traces of its medicinal power lingering within his body, slowly nourishing and strengthening his Origin Power.
Because of this, he had no immediate need for the Origin Power Pill.
Rather than keeping something he didn’t currently need, it would be better to package it together with the other pills he had no use for and sell them.
That way, he could obtain his first substantial amount of capital.
And this initial capital was crucial.
Only with enough money in hand could Ryan properly utilize the resources available to him and prepare for his subsequent plans.
More importantly, once he had sufficient starting capital, he could gradually snowball his wealth.
Money could be used to make more money.
With this thought in mind, Ryan headed toward Treasure Tower Street.
The so-called "Treasure Tower Street" earned its name because nearly all the Treasure Tower businesses belonging to the various major and minor families of Ashfall City were gathered here.
Its geographical location was excellent, situated within one of the most prosperous areas of the city. Almost every family of some renown had established a branch here.
Numerous enormous commercial buildings lined both sides of the street, dealing in everything from pills and mystic armaments to combat skills, pet beasts, battle formations, and countless other cultivation resources.
Practically anything a Bloodline Fighter could need could be found here.
Unlike the brightly lit main streets Ryan had passed earlier, Treasure Tower Street carried a distinctly antique charm.
Majestic buildings stretched along both sides of the broad street. Each had its own unique architectural style, yet all of them shared one thing in common—they radiated an imposing sense of grandeur and wealth.
At this moment, countless Bloodline Fighters moved between the various Treasure Towers.
Some walked alone, while others traveled in groups. Powerful auras occasionally leaked from their bodies, making the bustling street feel as though countless fierce beasts were moving through the crowd.
Competition between the various families was naturally fierce.
Almost every Treasure Tower had several greeters stationed near its entrance. The moment someone slowed down or showed even the slightest interest, they would immediately approach with enthusiastic smiles, warmly introducing their establishment and the treasures it had to offer.
Ryan swept his gaze across the towering buildings stretching down the street.
For a moment, he was genuinely overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices.
"Which one should I choose..." His gaze moved from one Treasure Tower to another.
After considering his options for a while, Ryan finally settled on one.
Winters Tower.
There wasn’t any particularly profound reason behind his decision.
Its appearance was impressive, and the name sounded rather appealing to him. Just that was enough.
Ryan adjusted his clothes slightly before walking toward the main entrance of Winters Tower.
However, when Ryan arrived at the magnificent golden gates of Winters Tower, a white-robed greeter standing guard at the entrance suddenly stepped forward and blocked his path.
"Where did this little beggar come from?"
The greeter looked at Ryan with undisguised disdain, waving his hand dismissively.
"Go, go, go. Get out of here!"
Ryan came from a poor family and had always worn old, patched-up yellow cloth clothes. His appearance was indeed shabby enough to invite misunderstanding.
But that was no excuse to treat a guest with such blatant disrespect.
Hearing himself called a "little beggar," Ryan’s expression immediately darkened.
This guy was truly arrogant.
Still, after thinking about it for a moment, Ryan decided it wasn’t worth arguing with a snobbish greeter. Suppressing his displeasure, he calmly said,
"Hello. I’m here to sell some pills."
"Sell pills?"
The white-robed greeter looked him up and down with even greater disdain.
"With your poor appearance, what kind of pills could you possibly have?"
He clearly didn’t believe Ryan at all.
Seeing Ryan ignore his words and continue walking forward, the greeter’s expression turned ugly. He reached out, placed a hand on Ryan’s shoulder, and forcefully pushed him backward.
"Hurry up and leave! Go cool off somewhere else! Don’t waste my time, and don’t block my path to wealth!"
Greeters were a common sight at businesses operated by the major families.
Their purpose was to attract customers and identify potential clients. If they successfully brought distinguished guests or powerful Bloodline Fighters into the building for purchases or business dealings, they would receive a portion of the resulting profits.
Sometimes, a single major client’s transaction could earn them the equivalent of one or two Low-Grade Origin Stones.
For an ordinary greeter, that was practically an overnight fortune.
Because of this, many greeters gradually developed the habit of flattering the rich while looking down on the poor.
After all, the more distinguished the customer appeared, the more likely they were to make a large purchase.
And among the many ways to identify a distinguished guest, one’s appearance and clothing were often the most obvious.
Unfortunately, in the eyes of this white-robed greeter, Ryan clearly didn’t fit the description.
As far as he was concerned, Ryan was nothing more than an insignificant nobody.
"Take your hand off me." Ryan’s voice turned cold.
The other party had actually dared to push him. He was already somewhat angry, but seeing the constant stream of people around the entrance, he forcibly suppressed the urge to retaliate.
However, just as the white-robed greeter was about to say something else—
"Stop!"
A delicate voice suddenly rang out from behind them.
Ryan was momentarily stunned. He then curiously turned toward the source of the voice.
A beautiful young woman was walking toward them.
Her features were delicate and beautiful, as though they had been carefully carved by an artist. She wore an elegant embroidered butterfly skirt, and her graceful steps gave her an ethereal charm.
Her eyebrows were delicate, her skin fair as snow, and her long black hair flowed behind her.
At that moment, a gentle breeze swept past, causing her hair and skirt to flutter lightly beneath the evening sky. The scene was almost dreamlike.
Ryan couldn’t help but stare for a moment.
She was truly beautiful. There was an indescribable charm in every frown and smile she made, whether she was surprised, angry, or simply walking toward them.
It was no wonder that people spoke of beauties capable of captivating entire cities.
The woman had just finished seeing off an important guest when she happened to notice the scene at the entrance.
Seeing one of Winters Tower’s own greeters insulting a guest, she immediately stepped forward to stop it.
Her cheeks were still slightly puffed with anger, giving her usually elegant appearance a hint of childish adorableness.
The moment the white-robed greeter heard her voice, his face instantly paled.
As though he had been shocked by electricity, he hurriedly withdrew his hand from Ryan and turned around with a fawning smile.
"I apologize for disturbing you, Miss Elena. This little beggar was causing trouble first. I kindly advised him to leave, but he stubbornly refused and kept pestering me..." He shamelessly twisted the truth.
Elena’s brows immediately furrowed. She glared at him coldly. "A guest standing at our door is a guest of Winters Tower. How dare you disrespect him and then lie to my face!"
