Although her long hair still covered most of her face, Lucas could feel her beast-like, hateful eyes glaring intensely at the four men outside.

Her hands, locked behind her back, began to struggle violently.

The heavy, specialized shackles made a piercing sound of metal grinding.

“What are you doing?!

Behave!”

The leader was startled and suddenly raised his assault rifle, aiming it at the cage.

The other three men also chambered rounds.

But Kimiko didn’t stop.

Her struggling became more and more violent.

Lucas could even see the skin on her wrists being torn by the shackles, blood dripping down the chains.

But she seemed unable to feel the pain.

“Is this woman crazy?”

The leader roared and reached out to press a red button on the wall.

“Zzzzt—”

The high-voltage electric fence activated instantly.

A powerful current surged through the iron cage, striking Kimiko’s body hard.

Blue arcs of electricity danced wildly over her small frame.

Her entire body convulsed violently.

But what was hair-raising was that she didn’t let out a single scream.

She just gritted her teeth tightly, her eyes visible through her hair, still glaring fiercely at the men outside.

The current lasted for a full ten seconds before stopping.

Smoking from the heat, Kimiko slumped in the cage, seemingly losing consciousness.

“Damn, she really is a monster,” the leader cursed, wiping cold sweat from his forehead with lingering fear.

Inside the ventilation duct.

Lucas watched this scene without a hint of pity.

Only cold calculation.

He no longer hesitated.

He smashed the vent grate beneath him with a sudden punch.

“Bang!”

Along with a cloud of dust, the grate fell from mid-air and crashed onto the warehouse floor with a loud thud.

The four men instantly became like startled birds, raising their guns to aim at the source of the sound.

“Who’s there?!” the leader roared.

His roar echoed through the empty warehouse.

There was no response.

Only a cloud of dust slowly dispersing.

“Up there!

The vent!” one of the men discovered the broken duct.

But it was empty.

“What the hell…”

Just as they were filled with suspicion and uncertainty.

Lucas had already landed lightly on the floor.

In his Absolute Stealth state, he was like a non-existent wind, silently gliding past the four men.

He wasn’t in a hurry to kill.

He walked to the switch controlling the high-voltage fence and extended a finger.

In his invisible state, his movements caused no visual change.

“Click.”

An extremely faint sound.

The power to the electric fence was cut.

The four men’s attention was entirely drawn to the vent in mid-air; they didn’t notice at all that the switch behind them had been tampered with.

Lucas turned around and looked at the iron cage.

He walked up to the cage.

With 15 points of Strength, he could bend rebar.

Now, with 45 points of Strength.

Combined with the incredible hardness of the Carbyne Heavy Armor.

Lucas suddenly exerted force.

“Creeeak—”

The teeth-aching sound of twisting metal rang out abruptly in the warehouse.

That specialized thick iron chain was like a fragile noodle in Lucas’s hands, snapped by sheer force.

“Clatter!”

The chain fell to the floor.

This finally caught the attention of the four men.

They whipped their heads around.

Only to see a scene that made their scalps tingle and even made them doubt reality.

The chain locking the monster was broken.

The indicator light for the electric fence was out.

But there was nothing in front of the cage.

In the air, only a suffocating, cold killing intent was spreading.

Lucas stood before the cage door.

He looked at Kimiko inside, who was still semi-conscious.

He slowly deactivated Absolute Stealth.

It was as if a curtain had been pulled back in the air.

A man wearing a tattered jacket with cold eyes appeared out of thin air in the sight of the four armed men.

“Good evening, everyone.”

Lucas tilted his head, looking at the four terrified men.

A bloodthirsty curve hooked at the corner of his mouth.

He raised his hand and pointed at Kimiko in the cage.

“I’m requisitioning this person.”
