A dull, lightless suit of heavy armor, covered in natural rock armor barbs, wrapped him tightly from head to toe.
It felt incredibly heavy, and as he stood firmly, he felt as though the earth beneath his feet had become his fulcrum.
Immediately after.
“Nether Blade, arm.”
Dark energy surged at his right arm, and that slender arm blade, with edges gleaming with a ghostly light, condensed and formed once again, this time even more solid.
Su Kai clenched his fist, feeling the absolute protection provided by the armor, as well as the sharpness emanating from the arm blade, which felt as if it could cut through anything.
“Stealth?” He looked at his getup, then at the tightly closed iron door of the warehouse, and grinned hideously.
“Test start.”
As he spoke, he strode toward the warehouse door.
His footsteps were heavy, thudding against the concrete floor, sounding exceptionally clear in the quiet warehouse.
When he reached the door, he couldn’t even be bothered to lift his hand.
He turned sideways and slammed his shoulder, covered in thick rock armor, directly into the reinforced iron door!
Boom!!!
A loud noise, like a truck hitting a wall!
The entire iron door, along with its frame, was directly deformed and twisted by the impact, then flew out like a piece of scrap metal, slamming into the corridor wall outside before clattering to the ground.
The piercing sound of metal tearing and the impact instantly shattered the silence of the night.
Even the corpse of the guard at the door, who had already been cut in half, was rolled to the side by the shockwave.
Alarm?
No alarm.
Su Kai’s impact just now had already destroyed the circuits and the alarm behind the door.
He stepped out of the warehouse.
The light from the emergency lamps in the corridor shone on his dull rock armor, without even a hint of reflection, only a heavy darkness that swallowed the light.
Almost the very next second after he stepped out of the warehouse.
“What was that sound?!”
“Enemy attack!
Over by the warehouse!”
“Fuck!
Grab your gear!”
Chaotic shouting and footsteps immediately erupted from the living quarters on both sides of the corridor.
Several burly men, bleary-eyed and wearing only undershirts and boxers, rushed out with rifles in their hands.
At a glance, they saw the figure at the end of the corridor, blocking the warehouse entrance, covered in strange rock armor, with a long, pitch-black blade extending from his right arm.
“What the hell is that?!”
“Fire!
Fire!”
Rat-tat-tat-tat!!!
Muzzles spat fire, and bullets rained toward Su Kai like water.
But Su Kai couldn’t even be bothered to dodge.
He even took two steps forward, walking straight into the hail of bullets.
Clang, clang, clang!!!
Bullets struck his chest armor, sending up a series of blinding sparks, making a dense sound like hitting thick steel plates.
And then…
nothing.
It didn’t even leave a white mark on his armor.
Su Kai looked down at his chest armor, then looked up at the burly men who had emptied their magazines and were scrambling to reload.
“Is that all?”
Even filtered through the faceplate, his voice was filled with maximum mockery.
The burly men’s faces turned pale.
“Superhuman!!”
“Mon…
Monster!!”
“Rocket launcher!
Go get the rocket launcher!”
Su Kai moved.
He kicked off the ground, his whole body surging forward like a starting heavy tank, rushing straight toward the burly men!
The momentum was terrifying.
Heavy footsteps echoed through the corridor, and in the blink of an eye, he had already reached the nearest burly man.
The burly man had just finished reloading and was raising his muzzle to fire.
Su Kai swung his right arm.
The pitch-black arm blade instantly traced a dark arc.
There was no sound.
The rifle in the man’s hands, along with his raised arms, were severed cleanly from above the elbows.
The cross-section was as smooth as a mirror.
The man stood stunned for a second before the excruciating pain hit, and he let out a heart-wrenching scream.
Su Kai didn’t stop, following through with a horizontal swing of his left arm, his rock-armored fist slamming into another burly man’s chest.
Thud!
A dull thud sounded.
The man flew backward, slamming into the wall and sticking there, his chest visibly caved in, without even a groan; it was clear he wouldn’t survive.
“Too brittle.”
Su Kai shook his head, feeling as though he hadn’t even used any real effort.
He turned to look toward the other end of the corridor.
More people were pouring in, some already wearing tactical vests, holding various firearms and weapons.
“Stop him!”
“Don’t let him come over!”
“Grenade!”
A round, smoking object was suddenly thrown over.
Su Kai glanced at it and walked straight toward it.
The grenade detonated right at his feet!
Boom!
The explosion’s fire and shrapnel instantly engulfed his entire figure.
Before long, the smoke cleared.
Su Kai was still standing in the same spot, shaking his helmet-covered head and gently dusting off the debris.
There wasn’t even a scratch on his rock armor.
“Is that supposed to tickle?” He said, sounding a bit disappointed.
The group opposite him was completely dumbfounded.
Guns couldn’t hurt him, and even grenades couldn’t blast him, so how were they supposed to fight?
“Superhuman!!
We have Superhumans too!!” a man who looked like a leader roared.
“Bone Crusher!!
Iron Skin!!
It’s your turn!”
The crowd quietly parted, and two guys with physiques clearly different from normal people stepped out.
One was over two and a half meters tall, his muscles bulging as if they were about to burst, his skin a sickly blue-gray, and his fists as big as basketballs.
The other was slightly shorter, but his skin shimmered with a metallic luster, clearly enhanced by some kind of superpower.
“Pretty big guy.” Su Kai looked at the big guy, Bone Crusher, and commented with a faint smile.
Iron Skin let out a low growl and charged straight at Su Kai, his metallic fist whistling through the air as he slammed it toward Su Kai’s face.
Su Kai immediately raised his rock-armored left arm to block.
Clang!!!
The loud sound of metal colliding made people’s ears numb.
Iron Skin’s fist slammed solidly into Su Kai’s forearm armor.
Iron Skin’s expression changed abruptly after the hit.
He felt as if he had smashed into a mountain; the recoil made his entire arm go numb, and sharp pain radiated from his finger bones.
Meanwhile, Su Kai, in front of him, was completely fine.
“Finished?
Then it’s my turn.”
Su Kai’s Nether Blade on his right arm then swept forward nonchalantly.
Seeing this, Iron Skin instinctively tried to block with his other metallic arm.
Sshh—
A soft sound came.
In an instant, that metallic arm, along with Iron Skin’s shoulder behind it, was cleanly sliced off.
At the stump, the cross-section of metal and flesh was terrifyingly smooth.
Iron Skin was stunned, looking at his arm on the ground, then at his own shoulder, which was spurting blood.
