Five minutes later, the entire bank lobby and vault—basically anything of value that could be moved—had already been swept clean by Su Kai.

The scene was left with only corpses, broken furniture, and an empty bank vault.

Ensure there are no traces of my energy, footprints, skin cells…

anything that could point to me.

Clean it all up,” Su Kai ordered.

The phantom of the Void Jellyfish appeared, releasing an invisible force field that carefully scanned every corner.

[Trace cleanup complete.

All biological information and energy signatures have been erased.

Surveillance records have been permanently deleted and replaced with a faulty black screen.]

The Void Jellyfish immediately sent back feedback.

“Very good.”

Su Kai turned his gaze toward the bank entrance, looking at the street outside, which remained chaotic but still untouched by anyone brave enough to approach.

The police should be arriving soon.

After faking the scene to look like the robbers had turned on each other, Su Kai decisively made his escape.

“Equip: Wind-Splitting Wings.”

The cyan-white energy wings on his back instantly unfurled and flapped slightly.

“Stealth mode.”

This was a small feature he had just discovered.

The Wind-Splitting Wings could not only fly but also adjust energy output, making the glow of the wings extremely dim, providing a certain level of visual concealment even at night.

Of course, it couldn’t compare to the optical camouflage of the Nether Mantis, but it was enough to fool the crowd in the distance and any potential phone cameras.

The cyan-white wings became nearly transparent, leaving only a faint outline.

Su Kai’s feet left the ground, and he silently rose above the bank, then suddenly accelerated!

Whoosh—

A blurry cyan shadow instantly streaked across the sky of Harrisburg City, speeding toward the direction of Ohio.

Hundreds of meters away from the bank, a few citizens hiding behind cars and peeking out vaguely seemed to see something flash over the roof of the bank.

“Did you see that?

Something seemed to fly past just now!”

“What thing?

A bird?”

“What kind of bird is that big…

probably a drone, right?”

“Who cares, why haven’t the police arrived yet!

There’s no movement inside anymore.

Could everyone be dead?”

“Mind your own business, stay back.

What if there are still robbers!”

Just as they were discussing this, Su Kai, high in the sky, had already flown out of the Harrisburg City urban area and was cruising at high speed above the clouds.

The strong wind whistled past his ears but was blocked by the energy field generated by the Wind-Splitting Wings.

As he flew, he took stock of his gains from this trip.

“My Star Energy has surged significantly, and I managed to snag so much USD on the side.

I didn’t pay much attention to how much, but there’s definitely tens of millions of dollars, not to mention a large amount of gold.”

“A massive profit.”

“Plus, I took out ‘Stone Armor,’ giving me an alias to operate with outside.”

Su Kai felt wonderful inside.

This was way faster than watching the sea in Ohio or catching illegal immigrants.

…

On the other side, almost at the same moment Su Kai had just left the bank scene and the Wind-Splitting Wings had streaked across the Harrisburg City sky.

Whoosh—!!!

A sonic boom so sharp it tore through the air approached from afar and instantly exploded above the third branch of Wells Fargo Bank!

Immediately after, a strong figure wearing a blue, tight-fitting combat suit with a Stars and Stripes cape on his back slammed onto the cracked concrete ground at the bank entrance like a cannonball!

The person stood straight, his golden hair particularly dazzling in the sunlight.

It was none other than Homelander, the most popular member of The Seven.

He wore that signature sunny smile on his face.

It was the “national idol” expression carefully designed by the PR team at Vought International.

But this smile froze completely the moment his gaze swept over the bank entrance.

He saw three split-open corpses lying at the entrance, blood flowing everywhere, and the air was filled with an extremely heavy stench of blood and gunpowder.

This wasn’t what the company had planned.

According to the “itinerary” and “contingency plan” Madelyn had given him, there should have been a scene playing out of a “vicious Supe robber holding hostages.”

And his task was to descend from the sky at the “critical moment” when the police were helpless and the media cameras were focused.

And use thunderous means to “subdue” ‘Stone Armor’ and rescue the hostages.

Then say a few righteous superhero declarations to the cameras.

He had memorized the script.

He had even planned in advance which angle would be most photogenic when landing.

But the current situation…

The inside of the bank was terrifyingly quiet; there were no gunshots, no screaming, and certainly no arrogant roars from robbers.

There was only a faint scent of blood drifting into his nostrils with the wind.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.

Homelander frowned, his eyes glowing slightly red as his X-ray vision activated instantly, his gaze piercing through the exterior wall of the bank.

The sight inside made his pupils constrict.

In the lobby, corpses were strewn about in every direction.

There were those wearing security uniforms, as well as those in bank employee suits.

However, there were even more robbers wearing ski masks and mismatched clothes.

Blood had stained a large patch of the smooth marble floor red, and the entrails of the corpses had spilled all over the ground, making the messy scene look filthy and dilapidated.

The counters had been smashed, the vault door was wide open, but it was completely empty inside.

And ‘Stone Armor,’ who was supposed to be obediently staying here holding hostages according to the script, was now nowhere to be found.

There wasn’t even a shadow of a Supe to be seen.

“What is going on?” Homelander muttered, his anger flaring up instantly.

This is not how it was written in the script!

‘Stone Armor’ was supposed to be obediently staying here, holding the last few hostages in a desperate struggle, waiting for him, Homelander, to “rescue” them!

Then he would use just the right amount of “violence” to break a few of ‘Stone Armor’s’ bones, showing off his power without actually killing this illegal immigrant that Vought International had “cooperated” with.

After all, he might still be useful in the future.

But now?

The person is gone!

The scene was a mess, everyone was dead, and even the money had been cleaned out!

How is he supposed to act now?

Give a victory speech to a floor full of corpses?

Homelander’s expression became extremely ugly.

Several phone cameras, hiding behind cars in the distance and secretly filming, immediately aimed at him.

“Look, Homelander is here!”

“Awesome, it’s Homelander!”

“Mom, I saw Homelander…”

However, Homelander didn’t even glance at those cameras, stepping directly over the corpses of the robbers at the entrance and striding into the bank lobby.

As soon as he entered, an even stronger stench of blood rushed toward him.

He scanned his surroundings, his face growing darker the more he saw.
