10 minutes ago.
Inside an abandoned garage, the Ben team busied themselves with their own tasks; Kevin tinkered with his car, Gwen read through her magic book, and Ben kept on rolling the Omnitrix.
Suddenly, a beeping sound rang in the garage, and the three took out a green badge which flashed repeatedly.
The three looked at each other, then tapped it.
Immediately, a deep male voice came from it, frantic and fearful.
”Kids, code red!” the voice said.
“A Level-zero criminal has escaped from the Null Void and taken control of an important Plumber spaceship and has stolen a Chronosapien artifact. He also started a sick gladiator arena—forcing our men to fight to the death. We don’t have the numbers to breach his force fields; we need you!”
Before the team could reply, the glowing badge dimmed.
” A Level-zero criminal?
Isn’t that the same way they classified that lion man?” Kevin asked with a raised brow.
” Yes!” Ben said, draping his jacket over his shoulder and already walking out of the garage.
“Come on, let’s go!”
Swoosh!
A translucent pink wall blocked the garage entrance.
”Hey!” Ben turned and glared at Gwen.
Gwen rolled her eyes.
“Where do you think you’re going? To get your ass beat again?”
” She’s right, Tennyson.
The last time you rushed in against a Level-zero criminal, my car took half the damage,” Kevin said.
“We don’t even know where this guy’s arena is. Let me track the Plumber signal first.”
” I’ll contact someone…” Gwen took out an earpiece and turned to Ben.
“Reliable.”
”Ugh…” Ben groaned and sat down dejectedly, muttering under his breath, “Like I’m not reliable.”
Gwen walked out of the garage and placed the earpiece in her ear.
“Hey, Robot, can you connect me to Superboy?”
After a while, a voice came through the comm—not Robot’s, but Superboy’s.
“Hey.”
”Superboy…” Gwen exhaled.
“We need your help.”

10 minutes later.
Superboy slowly descended in front of Gwen.
”You called me?” he asked.
” Yeah,” Gwen nodded.
” I’ve found our guy!” Kevin called out from the garage.
” Everything will be explained inside,” Gwen said as she walked inside the garage, followed by a confused Superboy.
Inside the garage, Ben had already walked to the door of Kevin’s car.
The moment he saw the approaching duo, he made a face at Superboy before turning to look at the car dashboard.
” He’s an Osmosian,” Kevin said, his voice a low whisper, the moment Superboy and Gwen bent over to look at the dashboard.
Above his dashboard was a green 3D holographic image of a human with both arms raised.
” An Osmosian?” Gwen looked at Kevin in surprise.
“Kevin, I thought your race were—”
” We are!” Kevin cut her off, a little aggressively.
He tapped the holographic display on his computer terminal.
A glowing green 3D holographic map of the solar system appeared in the middle of the garage.
“This guy isn’t just bold. With that Chronosapien artifact, he should be able to absorb time-energy. If he keeps on absorbing too much, he’ll go mad.”
He pushed Ben aside and stepped out of the car.
” The broadcast wave is bouncing off from a satellite near Ceres,” he said as he walked to the map, pointing at a place on it.
” Can the Rust Bucket 3 get us there?” Ben asked.
Kevin turned to Ben, his usual cockiness gone.
“If she can’t, no one can.”
” Okay,” Ben raised his hands.
Kevin turned back to the map.
“He’s running a localized tachyon shield. That’s why the Plumbers couldn’t and can’t get in—so can’t we.”
Superboy hovered closer, looking at the map. New chapters come out on g.com first.
“So how do we get in?”
Kevin tapped a few buttons on a device, and the map switched to show a specific frequency.
“Since he is streaming the battle to every black-market network in the galaxy, his shields have to open a tiny exhaust port to let the signal through. I can sync the ship’s cloaking tech to that exact frequency, and we slip in.”
By the end of his words, Kevin was already walking outside.
” Is he always this agitated on every mission?” Superboy asked.
” No,” Gwen shook her head.
“It must be because of the Osmosian.”
” Oh,” Superboy nodded, and the three—with one floating—walked out of the garage to see Kevin already standing beside a massive, sleek airship with green and black stripes.
Remembering something, Superboy turned to Kevin.
“How long will we be gone?”
” A week if we can defeat the Osmosian easily,” Kevin said.
“More if we can’t.”
” Okay,” Superboy nodded.
‘I need to inform Sasha, ‘he thought.
“I’ll be back.”
” Huh?” The Ben team stared at him in surprise.
Boom!
Superboy exploded forward, and two seconds later, he came back with a smile.
” Let’s go.”
The four entered the spaceship.
*Boom!*
A feirce gale erupted from under the space ship as it slowly levitated stirring the grass.
*Swoosh!*
The ship slowly turned and then with another boom!
It became a green streak leaving Earth.
