Boom!

A section of the wall inside the Plumber ship exploded forward, stopping Ben’s team.

Slowly emerging from the dust cloud caused by the explosion were nine aliens—the same ones who had stood close to Morgoth.

“You’re not allowed to advance any further!” a hulking brute clad in broken, ancient armor said, his voice deep and low, as he pointed at the team.

“Forfeit your lives!”

“Forfeit our lives?” Ben, now in human form, smiled quickly, rolled through his Omnitrix, and slammed his palm on it.

“Have you asked Four Arms?”

Boom!

Superboy blitzed through the ship’s interior and burst out into a massive coliseum—a coliseum he found familiar, the arena where the Plumbers had fought.

Above this coliseum was a floating machine where the Osmosian sat arrogantly, his fist propping his chin and his eyes staring down at Superboy.

“You’re fast, kid,” he said as he slowly stood up, his hands touching the device, his body slowly changing.

“My name is Morgoth. This is the last name you’ll hear.”

Swoosh!

He soared to the sky, then fell to the ground with a boom, stirring a massive gale and raising a dust cloud that obscured his figure.

Swoosh!

Morgoth, now a metallic figure, burst out from the dust cloud, moving so fast that the earth beneath his feet caved in deep.

Crossing the distance in a second, he punched out, stirring a fierce gale.

Booooommmm!!!

Superboy’s fist met his; a fierce gale swept through the arena, followed by the sand in the arena forming a miniature sandstorm.

Superboy stepped back and kicked him, but Morgoth stopped it with the back of his arm and immediately grabbed Superboy’s ankle with his other arm, intending to send him flying.

A searing red laser burst out from Superboy’s eyes, striking Morgoth.

Underestimating the attack, he let it strike his chest, only to be sent flying back like a rag doll.

Toppling on the ground for a few meters, he finally dug his fingers into the ground, halting his movement.

“It seems you won’t be an easy one,” Morgoth smiled as he slowly stood up, flexing his arm.

“That’s good. If I abso—”

Boom!

A fist struck his face, cutting his words off and sending him flying once more, hitting and embedding himself into the wall.

“Don’t you know talking in battle isn’t allowed?”

Swoosh!

By the time he finished his words, Superboy appeared in front of Morgoth and began punching him consecutively.

Shockwaves rippled through the air, and the walls kept caving in.

But after a minute of punching, Superboy frowned and immediately distanced himself from Morgoth, staring at his hands as he clenched and unclenched his fist multiple times.

“Hahaha, you finally noticed, kid!” Morgoth slowly walked out from the deformed metal walls; his armor was broken, yet no blood was on his body.

“I’ve been siphoning your time right from the beginning of the fight!”

Superboy frowned.

It was true; he did feel weaker, though—

‘Negligible.’ That was his thought.

Not only did the 1.1% synchronization give him an overpowered ability, he also gained the near-immortality of Kryptonians.

As long as he wasn’t under a red sun, he could live for as long as a million years.

“Kid! Your time isn’t the only thing I stole!” Morgoth grinned as his feet slowly left the ground, his eyes glowing a bright red.

Zoom!

A searing hot laser erupted from his eyes toward Superboy.

Boom!

Superboy raised his hands, stopping the laser, but he was actually pushed back a little.

“Thanks for the genes, kid!” Morgoth smirked devilishly as he clenched his fist.

“I feel so powerful!”

Boom!

“As thanks, I’ll make your death fast!”

The two fists met once again, and this time, not only the sand, but the ship’s metals couldn’t handle the shockwaves—first groaning under the pressure, then tearing from their place. Visit novelping(.)com for the full chapter.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The two exchanged numerous blows; the shockwaves from the attacks had already destroyed the arena, and the destruction continued.

Ben looked at the defeated aliens and smirked; the Omnitrix, with its iconic beep, reverted him back to normal.

“No one messes with Four Arms!” he said with a cocky grin.

“Don’t feel so cocky when we helped you,” Gwen said from the side, trapping the nine aliens in a translucent pink box.

“We should—”

Kevin hadn’t finished his words before the ship shook; an explosion, clearly far, reverberated to their position.

The three looked at each other, and Gwen timely trapped Ben in a pink translucent cube.

“Don’t even think of going there!” she said sternly.

“Hey, we need to help!” Ben said as he banged the cube continuously.

“What if Superboy needs our help?!”

Kevin and Gwen looked at each other before Gwen sighed; the pink construct dissipated with the wind.

“Just check it out, okay?!” she said.

“If Superboy isn’t in trouble, you come back immediately!”

“Ok!” Ben said with a wide grin, but before he could bolt toward the place where the explosion felt more intense, a pink translucent wall obstructed his path.

“Ben, promise me,” Gwen said as she looked at him seriously.

“I’ve already lost Grandpa; I don’t want to lose you.”

Ben froze for a moment before he smiled again.

“Don’t worry, Gwen! I’m a hero, aren’t I?! A hero won’t die that easily!”

Leaving those words, he turned and ran deeper into the ship.

“Let’s go. We should save those Plumbers,” Kevin said, walking in the opposite direction.

Gwen tore her gaze from Ben’s receding figure and followed him.
