The two women he had met once before, Jiang Yuelian and Su Linlin, trailed behind a man, their expressions haughty.
And that man was none other than Wang Kai, the very person Lin Feng had knocked senseless with a single punch a few days ago.

Seeing the two women following Wang Kai, Su Guowei's eyes went wide. He was clearly stunned by the scene.
Jiang Yuelian stepped forward, standing before Su Guowei with her head held high. "Su Guowei, I told you before. I told you to be smart and hand the business over to Young Master Wang. You refused. Look at you now, paying the price."

Lin Feng gave a faint smile, then glanced over at Wang Kai, his eyes gradually turning cold.
"What? Don't tell me you're planning to act brazenly in front of Young Master Wang?"
Hearing this, Jiang Yuelian snorted, looking utterly imperious. She seemed certain they wouldn't dare to touch Wang Kai.
"Oh?"
Lin Feng shot Wang Kai a playful glance, a dangerous curve forming on his lips as he spoke coolly.
"So you're the one pulling the strings behind the scenes?"
"Heh heh, I am. What about it?"
Wang Kai paid Lin Feng's threat no mind, shooting him a provocative look filled with disdain.

Lin Feng said calmly. But just as he finished, another, incredibly grating voice rang out.
"Tch. A stinking beggar who knows a little medicine really thinks he's somebody now."
Turning his head, he saw Su Linlin, with her exquisitely made-up face, staring at Lin Feng with contempt as she mocked him.
"Scram!"
Lin Feng frowned, speaking to Su Linlin with impatience.
That one simple, clear word plunged the room into an instant silence.
Wang Kai, however, revealed a smug smile. This was exactly the scene he had wanted to see.
He had already dug up information on Lin Feng. Although he couldn't find anything about Lin Feng from five years ago, the more recent information was enough for him.
Just a beggar who knew a little medicine and martial arts, and who had married the daughter of a minor family.
When he saw this information, Wang Kai had already figured out how he would get his revenge for Lin Feng's punch.
'You dare to offend me? Kid, you're going to lose everything!'
Wang Kai thought viciously, looking at Lin Feng, who remained completely unfazed on the sofa.
"What did you say? You want *me* to scram? Who the hell do you think you are! What gives you the right to tell me to scram?"
Su Linlin, on the other hand, was shrieking like a madwoman, her pretty face contorted with rage.
Ever since she came to the Su Family, she had never been ordered around, not once in her entire life.
Especially not by someone who used to be a beggar!
She wished she could tear this damned piece of trash in front of her to shreds right then and there.
Lin Feng's frown deepened. He gave Su Linlin a cold glance and said in an icy voice.
"Are you deaf? Did you not hear me clearly?"
"I told you to scram! Understand?"
After speaking, Lin Feng closed his eyes to rest, no longer bothering to deal with a shrew like Su Linlin.
"You!"
Su Linlin spat out the word through gritted teeth, then turned and threw herself into Wang Kai's arms.
"Young Master Wang, are you just going to stand there and watch him bully me?"
Su Linlin looked at Wang Kai, her face streaked with tears, her tone one of utter grievance.
"Sigh... there, there, child, no need to cry. Don't worry, I'll definitely get justice for you!"
Wang Kai gently patted Su Linlin's fragrant shoulder to comfort her, while a flash of glee crossed his gloomy eyes.
Using Lin Feng's sister-in-law to antagonize them felt absolutely fantastic.
Su Linlin's eyes lit up at his words. She looked up at Wang Kai with anticipation, thinking he was about to stand up for her. She then leaned coquettishly against his chest.
Seeing his daughter act like this—though not his by blood, over a decade of raising her had led Su Guowei to see Su Linlin as his own flesh and blood.
Seeing this now, he flew into a rage and yelled at Su Linlin, "Su Linlin! Watch your behavior! You're a grown woman, what is this disgraceful display!"
"Shut up!"
Stunned by his shouting, Su Linlin turned to shoot Su Guowei a resentful glare before turning back to cast a flirtatious glance at Wang Kai.
"Stay out of it. I'm heartbroken right now. I want Young Master Wang to dote on me."
Su Guowei was dumbstruck by her words. He never would have imagined that his normally gentle and virtuous daughter could have turned into this.
CLAP, CLAP, CLAP.
The sudden applause stunned everyone.
All eyes focused on Lin Feng.
Lin Feng watched Su Linlin with great interest, his arms crossed and a mocking curve on his lips.
"Quite a show, indeed."
Su Guowei also stared at his daughter in shock. He never would have imagined that his daughter, who had always been so poised, elegant, obedient, and sensible, could have turned into this.
Su Guowei couldn't help but feel a wave of sorrow. He gave a bitter smile. "I must have been blind back then."

At this, she shot Su Yanxue a vicious glare.

After saying this, she turned her gaze to Lin Feng.
