“Enough!” Mamusa’s thunderous voice echoed through the meeting room like a gunshot.

Then he looked towards the guards who were waiting for him to command.

Several guards immediately rushed forward.

It took all of their strength to drag both men apart from each other.

“That’s enough,” Mamusa said sharply.

Both Arthav and Damian continued glaring at each other like wild animals restrained before a kill.

“We have far bigger problems than your bruised egos,” Mamusa continued coldly.

“Last night, shipments worth millions burned into ashes.”

His scarred face hardened.

“So show some decency and behave like men worthy of sitting at this table.”

Then Mamusa looked toward the guards.

“Take Damian out of here.”

“No.”

Arthav suddenly stopped them.

The room fell quiet again.

He slowly wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth before turning toward Leon.

“Speaking of the fire…”

Leon immediately walked toward him and handed him the tablet silently.

Arthav tapped the screen once before playing a video.

“This is dashcam footage from a van parked outside the warehouse last night,” Arthav said calmly.

One of his hands landed heavily on Damian’s shoulder.

“Someone deleted all of the footage from the security camera…” he continued mockingly.

“But they missed this one.”

A black vehicle appeared near the burning warehouse and got out from the van.

Mamusa narrowed his eyes slightly.

Then slowly—

His gaze shifted toward Damian.

“Explain all of this, what you are doing there in this late.”

“Oh, he has to explain nothing; just watch the video and you will get your answer. Wait a minute, this screen is tiny for everyone to look at. Leon put it on the screen.” he handed the tablet back to Leon

Leon played the video on the big screen.

The video continued: some men in black suits opened the iron gate of the warehouse and put gasoline on the sealed wooden crates stacked onto one another.

Damion pulled out a golden lighter from his pocket, his face was clearly visible on the video.

Ha watched the wherehouse for longer then a minute then he lit it and threw it inside the warehouse and drove back to his black Maserati.

Damian’s face instantly turned pale.

He had been certain he deleted every single piece of footage from that night.

The entire plan was supposed to end with all the blame falling on Arthav since the shipment was under Arthav’s protection.

By burning the shipment goods, Damian wanted revenge for the humiliation Arthav had caused him last night.

But now—

Arthav had destroyed that plan just as brutally.

For a moment, Damian’s mind completely stopped working.

Because he knew one thing clearly.

Mamusa would never forgive a mistake like this.

Before anyone could speak further—

Lucien suddenly struck Damian hard with a slap across the face.

Then immediately, Lucien grabbed Damian harshly by the back of his neck and forced him down onto his knees before Mamusa.

“Mamusa, forgive him,” Lucien begged desperately.

“I am ready to pay whatever price you ask. Please, sir… let this mistake go just this once.”

Damian clenched his jaw tightly in humiliation while blood still dripped from his forehead.

Lucien lowered his head further.

“Please forgive him,” he continued helplessly.

“He is foolish. He acted without thinking.”

Mamusa looked sideways for a brief moment before exhaling deeply.

“Lucien,” he said coldly, “your son’s actions affected the syndicate.”

The old man’s fingers tapped once against the armrest of his chair.

“You will pay twice the amount for the goods that were destroyed.”

“Yes, sir. Of course,” Lucien nodded immediately without hesitation.

Mamusa’s gaze slowly lowered toward Damian kneeling on the floor.

“And from this moment onward…” his voice turned even colder, “he is forbidden from entering the council ever again.”

Damian’s eyes widened instantly.

“Signore —”

“Silence,” Mamusa cut him off sharply.

Lucien quickly lowered his head again.

“Yes, yes, sir. Certainly.” His voice shook slightly with panic.

“He will stay away from all syndicate matters from now on. I give you my word.”

He tightened his grip on Damian’s shoulder harshly.

“I’ll send him away immediately. He will never return here again, I promise.”

Mamusa merely gestured with his fingers while remaining seated on the chair.

The guards immediately grabbed Damian by the collar and dragged him out of the meeting room.
