Reiha took a step towards him; sitting beside him, she grabbed his injured hand gently.

“Let me see,” she said softly.

Reiha cleaned his wound carefully and applied antiseptic to his wound.Full novel: The Curse Of Fallen Angel — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“How did you get hurt?”

Arthav licked his lip.

“Had an accident.”

Arthav looked at her and smiled lightly.

“You still care about me, don’t you?”

Reiha lifted her gaze and scoffed.

“If you get infected from this and die, then how will I take my revenge on you?” she murmured and lightly pressed on his wound.

“Ah—” Arthav flinched instantly, his jaw tightening in pain.

She bit back a smile

“You did it on purpose.” Arthav accused, narrowing his eyes.

“No,” she replied calmly and continued wrapping the bandage around his hand.

Reiha stood up and put back the first-aid box inside the cabinet; when she turned around, she froze.

Arthav was standing dangerously close to her.

Slowly, he lifted his hand and cupped her face.

Reiha’s heart started to pound rapidly.

Arthav’s lips hovered just inches away from hers, as if he were about to kiss her.

But the next second, Reiha drove her knee and kicked him hard between his legs.

A sharp groan escaped Arthav’s lips.

He instantly clutched his balls with both hands before collapsing onto the floor.

Curled up in pain, he struggled to breathe, feeling as though the air had been knocked out of his lungs.

“Woman, you almost destroyed our future kids,” he groaned in pain.

“This is for the morning. This will remind you to not mess with me again.”

“And carrying your children in me—that will be the last thing I’ll do.” `

Arthav smirked, “At least you didn’t say no.”

Reiha looked at him in anger and walked back to the room.

Arthav stood up slowly, rubbing his balls.

“Aah—she is an angry bird. Have to be careful around her.” He mumbled and followed her into the room.

Reiha held a pillow in her arm and a book.

“Where are you going?” he asked

“To find a place to sleep. In this big mansion I sure can find another room other than this where I don’t have to see your face.”

“Huh… What?” Before Reiha could reach the door, Arthav held her by the wrist and pinned her on the wall, trapping her between his arms.

His thighs slid between her legs, locking her in place.

“Just for safety so you don’t kick me again.” He leaned close to her face; Reiha shut her eyes quickly.

Arthav smirked and took out his phone from his pocket and called his PA.

“Leon locked every single room in the house that is not in use.

“Yes sir.”

Phone line cut.

Arthav loosened his grip on her and said, showing the door, “Go. Let’s see if you can find any other place than this.”

Reiha’s expression instantly hardened with anger; she left the room and banged the door behind her hard.

In the garden she roamed around and tried to control her anger.

She threw a punch in the air and shouted without a sound.

She lay down on the wooden swing, hugging a cushion.

“I’ll just be here until he sleeps. Then only I’ll go back, huff… I can’t stand his face anymore.”

“I just want to punch him whenever I see him,” and she threw some more punch in the air, looking at the moon.

“Stop being stubborn,” Arthav said, standing beside her.

“Oh… God… stop appearing like a ghost,” she said, startled.

“I am not coming; I’ll be sleeping here tonight.”

“Fine, when you fall asleep, I’ll carry you inside in my arms.

“Is it that what you want?” He said in a teasing tone, smiling.

“I promise I won’t touch you.”

“Well, you also promised to take care of me, to love me, and look what you did. Your promises are also shitty, like you,” she said, looking into his eyes.

“I’ll be sleeping on the couch,” she said.

Reiha walked inside.

Arthav called his PA Leon again.

“Leon, remove the couch from my room. You have two minutes to do that. Reiha is already on her way.”

“On it, sir,” Leon replied immediately before the call disconnected.

Outside, hurried footsteps echoed through the hallway as servants rushed to obey the order.

Within moments, two staff members carried the heavy couch out of the room while Leon supervised them personally, making sure everything was cleared before Reiha arrived.

A minute later, the bedroom door slowly opened.

Reiha stepped inside, only to halt mid-step.

The couch was gone.

Now the massive room looked strangely emptier, leaving only the large king-sized bed at the center beneath the dim golden lights.

The silence in the room suddenly felt heavier than before.

Arthav entered the room behind her and casually loosened his cuff.

“I guess we need to share the same bed tonight.”

Reiha exhaled deeply.

Clearly she was irritated by the situation, so she accepted her defeat.

She turned to face him and pointed her index finger as a warning.

“Fine. But if you touch me, I swear I’ll kick you there again—this time even harder.”

Arthav immediately lifted both hands in surrender.

“I won’t,” he said calmly.

“I’m still recovering from the last attack.”
