Sang Yu tilted her head and blinked, a blush spreading across her cheeks. Huo Yan initially thought the young girl was frightened and was about to scoff, but then Sang Yu immediately pinched the hem of her clothes and said, “Alright.”

As she spoke, her hand moved upward from the hem, and in the blink of an eye, Huo Yan caught a glimpse of a slender, pale waist that was almost unnervingly delicate.

His gaze darkened slightly, and his actions outpaced his thoughts as he stopped Sang Yu’s movement, a faint shadow of intensity flashing in his eyes.Full novel: The Dark and Brooding Big Shot’s Little Fairy is Super Flirty — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Sang Yu showed no fear, looking up at Huo Yan with an innocent expression. With her other hand, the one he hadn’t restrained, she lightly tapped his chest. It felt firm, but the texture was unexpectedly pleasant.

“Brother Yan?”

She blinked, having already guessed that Huo Yan wouldn’t actually let her do anything. Still, seeing him like this amused her, and she deliberately teased,

“Isn’t this for you to see, Brother Yan?

I said it before—as long as it’s you, anything is fine.”

Huo Yan stared at her, his handsome, sharp face cold and unreadable.

But his mind raced with countless thoughts. If what Sang Yu said was true, would she agree to anything he did?

Even if he made her eyes red and filled with tears.

Even if he acted like a beast, devoid of humanity.

Huo Yan felt that uncontrollable emotion surging again, as if it were about to break through some barrier.

“Uh… I think I took a wrong turn. You two carry on.”

The sudden voice shattered the intimate atmosphere between them.

Sang Yu froze for a moment, her body stiffening slightly.

Huo Yan noticed her reaction, and the corner of his eyebrow lifted imperceptibly. Good, she still knows how to be shy.

He placed a hand on Sang Yu’s shoulder and spoke expressionlessly to Lin Han Zhou outside, “Come back.”

Lin Han Zhou turned around, offering an awkward yet polite smile.

Huo Yan guided Sang Yu to turn around, picked up her top, and helped her put it on as he introduced,

“Sang Yu, Lin Han Zhou.”

After the brief introduction, Huo Yan looked at Sang Yu and said, “If you need money in the future, just come here to work. No need to go to the internet cafe.”

Sang Yu was taken aback, blinking in surprise. “But…”

Huo Yan replied impassively, “No buts.”

Sang Yu: “…”

Huo Yan glanced at her and said coolly, “If you have any requests, say them now.”

“I need a computer.”

“Okay.”

“I don’t know how to tattoo.”

“Learn.”

“I…”

Sang Yu blinked and looked at Huo Yan. “If I come here, will I get to see you?”

Huo Yan raised an eyebrow but didn’t respond.

Lin Han Zhou watched the scene unfold as if enjoying a show, shaking his head and remarking, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. Brother Yan is arranging things for his girlfriend. Why not ask for my opinion?”

Huo Yan ignored his teasing and spoke casually, though his words were directed at Sang Yu.

“I won’t be here often. If anything comes up, just look for him.”

Sang Yu pressed her lips together, looking somewhat disappointed, but she nodded obediently, as if she would follow whatever Huo Yan said.

From start to finish, neither of them bothered to correct Lin Han Zhou’s mistaken assumption that Sang Yu was Huo Yan’s girlfriend.

Even though they hadn’t done anything, they managed to flaunt their dynamic in front of Lin Han Zhou, leaving him with no choice but to seek comfort from Zhang Qile.

Sang Yu stayed at the tattoo shop a while longer, observing how Lin Han Zhou worked, before Huo Yan offered to take her home.

Huo Yan hailed a taxi, and half an hour later, they arrived at Sang Yu’s place. He stood casually at the foot of the building and said, “Go on inside.”

Sang Yu took two steps, then turned to look at him: “Yan Ge, would you like to come to my place for a while? I’m home alone.”

Huo Yan’s casual posture stiffened, then his gaze fell on Sang Yu, a seemingly amused expression carrying a hint of gritted teeth.

“Sang Yu, know your limits. If you really stir up trouble, you won’t be able to handle it.”

Sang Yu blinked, wearing an innocent expression as if she didn’t understand what Huo Yan was talking about.

Huo Yan completely surrendered, no longer speaking to Sang Yu, turned and left, quickly disappearing from her sight.

Sang Yu curved her eyes, bright and sparkling, filled with unresolvable tenderness and a trace of cunning.

Humming a song softly, she opened the door home in high spirits. Just after changing shoes, she saw the Shen Family calling.

Sang Yu set her phone to silent and left it aside, taking clothes to shower. When she came out, the screen was filled with missed calls – mostly from Father Shen and Shen Mother, with a few from Jiang Yi mixed in between.

Sang Yu indifferently tossed it aside, lay on the bed thinking about Huo Yan, and soon fell asleep.

She had sweet dreams all night.

The next day, Sang Yu dressed up nicely, then first went to the internet cafe to quit her part-time job. The boss was quite fond of Sang Yu.

She was beautiful, well-behaved and obedient, careful with her work. Since she started, the shop had become more crowded. But since Sang Yu was determined to leave, he didn’t say much.
