“Little classmate, what are you doing here?” Zhang Qile approached.

Huo Yan was talking with several boys behind him, his gaze not falling on her side.

Sang Yu also shifted her gaze away from him, curving her eyebrows and eyes as she looked at Zhang Qile, seeming somewhat embarrassed. “I… I lost my wallet.”Full novel: The Dark and Brooding Big Shot’s Little Fairy is Super Flirty — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Ah!” Zhang Qile finally understood why he had seen Sang Yu hesitating at the convenience store entrance.

“My treat!” Zhang Qile said generously.

“Thank you, I’ll pay you back tomorrow.” Sang Yu’s expression was gentle and soft as she looked up at Zhang Qile.

Zhang Qile blushed under her gaze. “Don’t be so polite, Sang Yu.”

On the other side,

After Huo Yan finished speaking with the others, several boys left.

His gaze shifted to Sang Yu’s side, and the first thing he saw was the girl with curved eyebrows and eyes, looking up softly at the boy across from her.

He extinguished his cigarette, pressed his tongue against his back teeth, his eyes dark and unreadable.

This little girl really knows how to flirt.

Huo Yan curled his lips into a smile, his eyes clouded with an indistinct haze as he stared intently at Sang Yu.

The summer night was still somewhat cool.

She only wore a white T-shirt with a well-behaved kitten printed on it, her jet-black hair tied into a ponytail that rested softly on her shoulders. Her slender, pale legs were exposed and seemed to tremble slightly from the cold.

Instantly, the sensation from earlier in the small woods when he had gripped the girl’s waist returned.

Huo Yan felt a tingle in his fingertips.

Sang Yu seemed to notice as well, turning to look in his direction with that innocent expression again.

“Yan Ge!” Zhang Qile ran over, somewhat embarrassed. “Can you lend me some money?”

Huo Yan gave him a cold glance.

Zhang Qile scratched his head. “Damn, I got excited and offered to treat her just now, but I’m broke. The little classmate lost her wallet and hasn’t had dinner yet. I want to buy her a meal.”

Huo Yan looked at him but didn’t speak.

Suddenly, Zhang Qile slapped his forehead as he remembered something. “Shit, Yan Ge, I fucking left my house keys back there. I’m entrusting the little classmate to you. I need to go back and find them, or my dad will beat me to death when I get home.”

After saying this, he dashed off.

Sang Yu still stood at the convenience store entrance. Seeing Zhang Qile leave, she blinked in confusion.

Huo Yan lowered his gaze slightly and walked forward.

“Yan Ge.” The young girl immediately spoke softly upon seeing him.

Huo Yan glanced at her, his expression indifferent and unreadable. “Haven’t eaten?”

“Mm.” The girl blinked her eyes as she looked at him, appearing extremely well-behaved.

Huo Yan entered the convenience store. Sang Yu curved her lips into a smile and quickly followed him inside.

“Twenty-seven yuan total.” The female cashier kept her eyes fixed on Huo Yan.

Sang Yu placed the selected rice ball and milk on the counter.

Huo Yan took out his phone and scanned the code to pay for her.

“Thank you, Yan Ge.” Sang Yu held the rice ball and milk, following closely behind him like a little tail.

Jiangcheng’s summer nights were refreshingly cool.

Huo Yan walked out the door and waited by his motorcycle for Zhang Qile.

Sang Yu stood on the small flower bed next to him, eating her rice ball in small bites while keeping him company.

The girl’s lips were pink and small, nibbling away like a little hamster.

Huo Yan’s gaze fell on her slender, pale arms, curiosity stirring in his heart.

With such a delicate frame that would topple with just a push, how had she managed to beat Pei Jing so badly in the small woods this morning?

“Cough, cough, cough…” Sang Yu choked on her rice ball and suddenly started coughing violently, her eyes becoming moist and red.

Huo Yan stood to the side, frowned slightly, opened a carton of milk, and handed it to her.

“Thank you…”

Sang Yu blushed, feeling somewhat embarrassed as she put down the rice ball and took the milk from Huo Yan’s hand.

Huo Yan didn’t speak, casually lowering his gaze to quietly watch the little hamster eat.

Sang Yu took a small sip of milk, leaving a white trace around her lips. Her pink lips seemed to notice the residue, and she stuck out her tongue to lick it away.

The girl’s pink tongue peeked out between her neat, white teeth, then she seemed to notice him watching her and looked up.

“What’s wrong?”

Her expression was utterly innocent and naive as she crouched beneath him, the white milk traces around her lips not completely cleaned yet, gazing at him like a little kitten.

Huo Yan felt his throat grow somewhat dry.
