Narrator's POV
The pressure that almost pushed their heads into the ground disappeared without a trace as Momonga left the arena.
But even though Momonga has left, nobody stands up, as Lydia is still present; and despite being aware of her benevolence and knowing that she would probably not mind, none of them even dares harbor any thought or action of disrespect toward the small Supreme Being, such as standing up in her presence.
Lydia eventually left the arena as well, after a short exchange with her creation, in which she gave Ivory a gift. She even gave Ivory her nonverbal agreement to call her "Mother," fueling a strong feeling of envy in the other Guardians present. After all, they too wanted to exchange words with their creator and receive their approval.
After a short while, someone let out a sigh of relief, and the tension was finally released. The first one to stand up was Albedo, and although her white dress had dirt on it, she did not pay it any mind and just dusted it off. After seeing Albedo stand up, everyone silently followed suit.
"On-Onee-chan, that was scary." Mare is the first one to speak up.
"Yeah, I thought I would be crushed." Aura replies to her brother.
"As expected of Momonga-sama, even towards us Guardians, he would have such a huge effect." Demiurge speaks up after hearing the twins' conversation.
"Although I know he is a supreme being and is stronger than all of us, I did not expect it to be to this extent." adds Cocytus.
The Guardians all start talking about Momonga's impressions.
[Aura of Despair]. In addition to the [Terror] effect, it was also able to reduce the stats of a player. Normally, it should not affect a Lv. 100 being, but due to the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, the effect became even stronger.
"That is Momonga-sama displaying his true ability as a ruler." comments Albedo reverently while joining her hands together as if praying.
"Yeah, before we announced ourselves, Momonga-sama did not reveal his true abilities, but once we assumed our roles as Guardians, he displayed just a fraction of his true powers." Aura explains in awe.
"In response to our loyalty, Momonga-sama has shown a true ruler's strength." notes Cocytus, equally in awe of his master's might.
"Indeed. But let's not forget Lydia-sama's act of benevolence as well." adds Demiurge."W-what do you mean?" asks Mare timidly, anxious at the idea of having missed something obvious.
The other Guardians turn their attention towards Demiurge as well, curious to know what the Arch-devil is talking about.
Seeing that none of the other Guardians noticed, he smiles and begins explaining. "Haven't you all noticed that Lydia-sama released her mana not long after Momonga-sama released his aura?"
He then looks around to see if the other Guardians are connecting the dots. Seeing that they are still confused, he continues. "Her mana was protecting all of us from Momonga-sama's aura. She saw that we were struggling and, in her infinite kindness, she sacrificed some of her mana for us, Guardians."
This causes all the Guardians to gasp in shock. But their reaction is to be expected. After all, not only did Lydia, a Supreme Being, sacrifice some of her mana for them, lowly Guardians, but they are all also aware that for Lydia, as a Spirit of Magic, her mana is equivalent to her vitality. And that is without taking into account that Lydia is a unique being, even by the standards of a Spirit of Magic, and her mana is pure—the purest mana can possibly be—and it also has unique properties. Its value could equal some of the treasures of Nazarick, even more so if it solidifies in the form of a magic crystal.
This revelation causes the Guardians to fall back in silence, in awe and shame. In awe of their mistress's benevolence, and in shame of having needed Lydia's protection while they should be the ones protecting her with their lives.
Sebas is the one to break the silence.
"Then I will take my leave, although I do not know where Momonga-sama and Lydia-sama went, it is only natural that I go to their side."
"Of course, Sebas. Serve them properly and do not disrespect them. If any situation arises, come back and report to me." Albedo answers Sebas's announcement.
Sebas nods, takes quick steps, and leaves the arena.
"Anyway... It sure is quiet. What happened to you, Shalltear?" asks Demiurge as he turns his head towards the still-kneeling Shalltear.
Hearing Demiurge, the rest of the Guardians turn to Shalltear as well.
"What's wrong, Shalltear?" Cocytus asks, worried for his fellow Guardian.
Shalltear slowly lifted her head in response, misty-eyed and looking as though she had just woken up.
"After feeling Momonga-sama's imposing attitude and Lydia's kindness, I couldn't help but feel... excited down there." she admits with a perverted, almost blissful expression. This also reveals that she had noticed Lydia's mana in the air, and it only excited her more.
Silence.
Nobody knew what to say. All of the Guardians knew that the one with the most sexual fetishes among them was Shalltear—one of which was necrophilia—thus, they could only slap their foreheads in disbelief. However, Mare did not understand the situation and was confused. There was another person among the Guardians who did not want to let matters rest.
"This slut." Albedo speaks up with fury.
Hearing those words of hostility, Shalltear raised her head to reveal a flirtatious smile.
"Ah? Having felt the power of our masters, is truly rewarding. Those who didn't get wet are those with the problem. Don't tell me you are just acting innocent and did not feel any lust? You big-mouthed starfish."
Shalltear's response only makes Albedo angrier, and a purple aura starts leaking out of her body. "...You lamprey." she spat out.
The two of them stare at each other. Although the surrounding Guardians know that they would not start exchanging blows, they still stare with eyes full of anxiety.
"The Creator was the one who determined my likeness; towards my own appearance, I have no complaints." Shalltear replies angrily as a red aura starts leaking out of her body.
"It is the same for me." Albedo replies angrily.
Shalltear slowly raises herself, and the two of them slowly walk toward each other, never breaking eye contact until both of them stand in front of each other.
"Don't think that since you are the one in charge of the Guardians and get to stay beside Momonga-sama and Lydia-sama, you have won. If you really think that way, then everyone would laugh their teeth off." Shalltear spat out venomously.
"Ah. Of course, once you've been exiled to a far border, then I will take the opportunity to obtain complete victory." Albedo replies mockingly, but the fury in her voice is unmistakable.
"....What is this complete victory, teach me, O' Great Leader-sama."
"As a slut, you should be very clear on what that means."
Although the two of them were intensely insulting one another, they never broke eye contact. They just blankly stared at each other.
Then suddenly, they finally snapped. Albedo threateningly unfolded her wings and Shalltear began to emit a black mist.
"Ah... Aura, problems with women should be left to women to resolve. If anything happens, I will come down to stop it; during that time, please come and find me." Demiurge comments as he walks away without a care in the world.
"Wait a minute, Demiurge! You plan to leave this to me? Why don't you ask Ivory instead?" Aura asks desperately.
He turns around. "Because I would not want her to damage her creator's gift as collateral damage." he replies with a smirk. He then leaves her with the two of them behind. Cocytus, Mare, and Ivory also leave, since no one wants to be involved in this.
"Really... Is there any need to quarrel?" Cocytus asks Demiurge as he gazes at the two women fighting in the distance.
"I myself am very interested in the results." replies Demiurge.
"What results, Demiurge?" Mare asks innocently.
"The result determining the military strength and future of the Great Tomb of Nazarick." Demiurge explains.
"What do you mean, Demiurge?" asks Mare once more, his innocent mind not understanding Demiurge's implication.
"Well..." Thinking about his answer to Mare, he has a passing thought of wanting to impart some adult knowledge to the naive Mare, but decides against it.
Although Demiurge is of the Demon race, which is thought to be both cruel and cold, that would only apply to those found outside of Nazarick. As for the ones created by the 41 Supreme Beings, Demiurge is loyal to them and thinks of them as important companions.
"I'm curious about what kind of offspring an undead, such as Momonga-sama, could have, if that is even possible. Though I have the feeling that Shalltear isn't interested only in Momonga-sama." Demiurge explains.
"I don't understand. Why would Momonga-sama need a child?" Mare asks.
"Momonga-sama has no need for a child, considering that Lydia-sama is already the successor to his throne if he were to leave one day, like his fellow companions. What interests me are the possibilities that such a child would give to Nazarick as a whole. If the Supreme Beings are able to reproduce, that would mean that we should as well. This would ensure the future of Nazarick even if both Supreme Beings were to leave." Demiurge explains.
"That type of thinking would be too disrespectful. Our duty is to ensure that we protect Momonga-sama and Lydia-sama so that they are able to properly continue to stay here, and to avoid any kind of unfortunate incident, right?" Cocytus chimes in the conversation.
"Of course I understand, Cocytus. However, do you not want Momonga-sama or Lydia-sama to leave an heir behind for us to pledge loyalty to?" Demiurge asks the giant insectoid.
"Well... I really would love to be able to pledge my loyalty to their heir..." Cocytus mumbles as he envisions what it would be like.
An image of Momonga's and Lydia's heir floated into the head of Cocytus.
Not only that, teaching them swordsmanship in order to protect themselves, and listening to the orders of the grown-up young masters.
"...Ah, that's really great. A really beautiful scene... Sensei... Sensei..." As he walks away, Cocytus starts daydreaming, too absorbed in his own fantasies.
Seeing Cocytus enjoying himself, imagining turning into a successful Sensei to Momonga's and Lydia's heir, Demiurge could not take it from him and looked away from him.
"In addition, regarding the plan to strengthen Nazarick, I am also very interested. I want to know how far our kids can go. How about it, Mare? Do you want to have children?" Demiurge continues.
"Uh? Huh?"
Mare is confused, not expecting the sudden question. But Demiurge doesn't pay him any mind and continues musing.
"However, that is impossible without a partner... If you find any humans, Dark Elves, or Wood Elves, could you please capture them?" he asks Mare as he's already starting to form plans for the future.
"I-If this helps Momonga-sama and Lydia-sama... then I will do it. But how are children born?" Mare replies hesitantly.
"Well, when it comes to that time, I will teach you. If you decide to experiment on your own, the Supreme Beings will probably scold you. Due to the need to maintain the Great Tomb of Nazarick's operating costs, it would be better if we try to maintain the balance first."
"Th-That is correct. I heard that the servants underneath are spawned using very precise calculations... If I just randomly increase the amount, I might get scolded..." adds Mare.
"I also do not want to incur the wrath of the Supreme Beings.... If only we could set up a ranch outside of Nazarick..." Demiurge starts musing once more.
"Now that I think about it... Mare, why do you dress like a girl?" Demiurge asks Mare.
Hearing Demiurge, Mare pulls on his skirt in an attempt to cover his legs.
"This is because of Bukubukuchagama-sama. She said this is called 'a trap'; I am very sure of it." Mare replies confidently yet timidly at the same time.
"Ah... So it was Bukubukuchagama-sama's idea. Well, with your body, it should be no problem... But do youngsters usually dress like this?" inquires Demiurge.
"Th-That I'm not too sure." replies Mare, much less confident.
Although the 41 Creators are no longer present, they have no choice but to obediently follow their commands. In fact, in all of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Mare's clothes were actually the most proper, and only someone of equal rank and status to the Creators is able to change his dress.
"...Then we should talk to Momonga-sama about this. Perhaps we can make all the youngster dress like this... Cocytus should be almost be done with his fantasies."
Hearing the words of his colleague, Cocytus shows a "smile" full of satisfaction.
"What a beautiful scene... Truly a beautiful sight." mumbles Cocytus as he walks back towards the other two Guardians.
"I see, that is great." replies Demiurge absent-mindedly. He then turns towards Ivory.
"Ivory, what did Lydia-sama give you earlier?" he asks curiously.
The question snaps Ivory out of her inspection of the small lizard in her hand. She extends her hand towards Demiurge to show him the lizard.
"Mother gave me one of her creations. Unfortunately, it didn't survive Momonga-sama's aura. I would have to resurrect it before being able to study its abilities." she replies softly.
Demiurge inspects the corpse of the lizard carefully, electing to ignore Ivory's way of addressing Lydia, as she didn't object to it herself, no matter how it makes him feel.
"Lydia-sama said that it might be useful in the future. Perhaps it has something to do with the crystals growing on its back and tail." speculates Demiurge. "Would you mind giving me a report of this creature's abilities once you finish studying it? If a Supreme Being praises this creature despite its weakness... then I should be able to find a use for it." he asks Ivory expectantly.
"Of course, it might take some time, though. I'll ask on your behalf to get you permission to go to the 11th floor so we can discuss this in more detail." Ivory replies.
"That would be perfect." concludes Demiurge; he then turns towards Aura in the distance.
"Are Albedo and Shalltear still arguing?" he asks, speaking loudly for Aura to hear.
Aura turns towards Demiurge.
"They... are already done. But now they are arguing about... the problem of who is the first concubine." she answers tiredly.
"For the ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick to have only one concubine would be strange. The only problem is who is qualified to be the principal one." Albedo chimes in, explaining her reasoning.
"...Although that is interesting, we should discuss it at another time. All right, Albedo, shouldn't you give us your orders? There are still many problems to address." Demiurge inquires.
"Yes, you're right. We must quickly organize ourselves. Shalltear, let us postpone our discussion for now since we have more pressing matters at hand."
"I have no objections, Albedo. This matter will surely take a long time to discuss."
"Very well. Then I will start the development of the next plan." begins Albedo.
Seeing her resume her role as the person in charge, the Guardians all bow their heads in salute, but do not kneel.
Even though they paid respect to Albedo as their commander, they would not kneel to her. During the creation of the Guardians, the 41 Creators ranked Albedo the highest and gave her command over all the other Guardians. As long as she was the one in charge, every Guardian would comply with her orders and show her the courtesy of saluting her. Albedo didn't mind this kind of treatment since she believed this was the proper way.

.
.
Lydia and Momonga are in the dressing room of Momonga's chamber on the 9th floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
The chamber is filled with all kinds of different items, to the point of almost running out of space.
All those items are part of Momonga's collection. Back in YGGDRASIL, Momonga was an avid collector and collected all kinds of items, even if the majority of them were useless to him.
Wanting to make a few tests and have a private conversation with Lydia, Momonga has already ordered the maid accompanying them to leave the room and to only come back when called.
Momonga's POV
I suppose we can have a conversation while doing some tests at the same time.
I turn my head towards Lydia.
"Now that we are alone, do you mind if we talk a bit?" I ask.
She turn her head towards me.
"Not really; I wanted to talk as well." she replies nonchalantly.
"Good. Is it okay if I do some tests at the same time?" I ask as I look at the different items in the room.
"Sure. What kind of tests are we talking about?" she asks, eyeing the items in the room curiously as well.
"Well, first, I would like to see if all the limitations of YGGDRASIL have been lifted. For example, can I pick up an item that is normally restricted by the rules of YGGDRASIL?" I inquire as I pick up a random sword stored in the room.
"It doesn't seem like I have any problem picking up a sword." I say out loud as I gaze at the sword in my hand.
The sword felt light as a feather in my hand; it must be because of my stats. Even though my physical stats are low compared with my other stats, they are still quite high as I am level 100.
I try to swing the sword, but it slips from my grip right away, as if the sword itself rejects me.
I glance at the sword on the floor as I contemplate the result of this experiment. I snap back to reality when I hear Lydia's voice.
"I guess that means that some restrictions are still there." she says as she looks down at the sword on the floor as well.
Without a word, I bend down to grab the sword back. I grab it by the blade and hand it to Lydia.
"Try it as well, just in case." I propose.
Lydia simply nods and grabs the handle of the sword. The sword exceeds Lydia's full height, yet as she takes hold of it, its length adjusts itself to fit her perfectly.
When she tries to swing it like I did earlier, the same thing happens. The sword slips out of her grip and falls on the floor.
"Well, that concludes the test. Even though we are not in YGGDRASIL anymore, its rules are still there." I tell her as I bend over to grab the sword again. The sword grows back to its original length when I pick it up. I then put it back where it originally was stored.
"I guess, but not everything is the same. Some rules have changed, and some spells and items don't work the same way." she informs me as I put the sword back.
"You're right, that's what I wanted to talk about with you. I'm sure you have already noticed some changes—not only in how magic works, but also in ourselves." I tell her, leading her where I want the conversation to go.
As I say that, I turn towards a wall which is almost entirely covered by a giant mirror.
In the reflection, I see my skeletal body looking back at me. Being a skeleton should cause a dreadful feeling; however, I don't feel anything. It's like I'm completely indifferent to the situation and it doesn't even feel weird to me.
Lydia is next to me. Her childlike body seems so tiny compared to mine. She is only as tall as my waist, but despite her body being her YGGDRASIL avatar, she looks and feels alive. Her eyes are full of light and emotion. This contrasts sharply with her emotionless avatar in the game.
Seeing me turn towards the mirror, Lydia does the same. We both look at our reflection.
I don't know if it is because of my undead nature or just me, but I have quickly accepted this situation.
I look at Lydia's reflection.
I have no idea how she has taken all of this. She isn't undead like me, so unlike me, her emotions aren't muted or repressed.
But I still believe that her avatar has affected her like mine has affected me, just in a different way.
Lydia's POV
I look at myself in the mirror, but I only see a little girl looking back at me. Yet, I know this is now me. I have no choice but to accept it.
I have to accept it, because what can I do otherwise? Take the form of my former body? That would simply be lying to myself about what I have become.
Furthermore, although childlike, this body is much more charming and lovely than how I used to look. I really did a good job when customizing my avatar.
All I can really think about in this situation right now is that it's a blessing.
I gaze at the colossal figure of Momonga beside me in the mirror. He seems to also be looking at his reflection. I wonder what he is thinking about.
After some time, Momonga breaks the silence of the room.
"How are you feeling about this?" he asks, his tone calm and composed.
Even though Momonga doesn't say it clearly, it is easy to understand what he is asking about.
"Not bad... really. I had only a few things that I loved... and they were going to disappear with YGGDRASIL." I explain quietly.
I turn my head toward Momonga and smile. A true smile of happiness. The happiness of not losing Nazarick and the happiness of not losing my last friend.
"In fact, I'm really happy it happened." I conclude with a smile.
Momonga looks at me for a moment, as if taken aback by something. Then he proceeds to simply pat me again.
"I'm glad you feel like that as well. There is nothing in the real world that would make me want to go back to it. If you feel the same, there is no point in trying to find a way back. We simply have to try to get used to our new lives as the Supreme Beings of Nazarick." he concludes, reminding me of our situation.
"Please don't remind me..." I say tiredly as I enjoy the caress on my head.
After a few seconds, Momonga stops, to my great disappointment.
"That reminds me of what I wanted to discuss with you." he begins softly.
I look curiously at Momonga.
"I've noticed that since the transfer, my mind seems to have changed alongside my body. I'm not sure how much exactly, but I know that when I feel a strong emotion, something neutralizes it." he continues.
Something neutralizes his emotions? Is it perhaps related to his undead race? At least, that would explain how he managed to stay so composed with everything happening.
"Maybe it's some kind of undead passive?" I propose.
"That's my theory as well. But since my species has influenced my mind, I would like to know if yours has also affected you." he asks, turning his attention to me.
Affected me? Yes, I suppose I did notice that earlier in the arena. But I have no idea in what way it is supposed to have changed me.
I'm a [Child of Mana]. In the pieces of lore that I could find, it says that a [Child of Mana] is a unique and divine being with a direct connection to the Essence of Magic. But there was almost nothing written about how they act.
There was also some lore in the form of myths and legends. Some said that the [Child of Mana] is the child of the Essence of Magic itself. Others said that the [Child of Mana] is the incarnation of the Essence of Magic. Others even said that the connection of the [Child of Mana] with the Essence of Magic allows it to come back from death.
With that and my skills, I formed some theories while playing YGGDRASIL. To begin with, I believe that the Essence of Magic is a real thing because, as a [Spirit of Magic], I not only have access to an exclusive branch of magic called [Primordial Magic], but when I unlocked the ability to use divine and spiritual spells of this branch, I had to select a divine being for my character to venerate.
Usually, this being is an important NPC or boss from the game, but I had only one choice: The Essence of Magic.
So, the Essence of Magic is a real thing—at least, by my theory—but I have no idea if I'm the child of said essence or if I am the incarnation of the Essence of Magic. Both are perfectly possible.
I also know that only one player can become a [Child of Mana] because it was one of the conditions to unlock that evolution, that no other player had already unlocked it. That also explains why in the lore, the [Child of Mana] is said to be a unique being.
"Are you still with me, Lydia?" asks Momonga while waving his hand in front of me, snapping me out of my thought.
"Y-Yes, sorry, I... got lost in thought." I stutter, embarrassed to have zoned out in the middle of the conversation.
He chuckles lightly.
"It's okay, but I'll ask again to be sure. Do you believe your species is affecting your mind the same way mine does?"
"I think so... but I don't know exactly how. The only thing I really noticed was that I feel... how can I explain it? Less shy, perhaps?" I try to explain.
"I think I noticed something else. It's much less obvious than with me, but you've acted more childishly than usual." he explains.
Childish? I don't remember having acted childishly in the arena.
"What do you mean exactly?" I ask for clarification.
"Well... I don't really know how to explain it clearly, but you started acting a bit strange in there. For example, you started playing with the smoke of Aura's skill out of nowhere, and your eyes had the same childish glow as those of the twins; it was more obvious when you were beside them." he describes.
I was going to respond but paused. He's maybe right. I don't recall acting childishly in the arena, but Momonga isn't someone who lies to his friends, even less so in a situation like this.
Even so, I don't recall reading any lore about the [Child of Mana] being childish. Well, except for the name, but I always assumed it was to symbolize the connection with the Essence of Magic rather than it being a literal child. But thinking about it, it's maybe both.
"You might be right. After all, there is the word 'child' in the name of my species. And I did feel less anxious than normal in there as well. Or maybe 'carefree' is a better word?" I admit.
"That's what I thought in the arena as well, which was why I wanted to talk to you about it." he explains softly.
"I see, now that we're talking about it. What changes did you notice in yourself, Momonga?" I ask, wanting to divert the conversation from me.
He glances at himself in the mirror and stays silent for a little while.
"I'm not sure." he says eventually.
"I feel like my emotions are dulled, and when I feel something too strong, it's immediately neutralized. I also feel like I care less about a lot of things." he clarifies.
I grab his sleeve to get his attention.
"Don't worry, Momonga. No matter the changes, you are still my friend. Becoming undead will not change that." I reassure him, or at least, I hope I do.
He pats me on the head again. What's with him patting me on the head recently? Not that I'm complaining or anything...
"I'm glad, really, that you are who you are." he tells me softly.
I giggle, enjoying the pats and the compliment.
"Say, does your body feel different? Being a skeleton and all." I ask curiously.
He lifts his hand from my head, examines it briefly, and then looks back at his image in the mirror.
"Different, I know that my body is now only bones—" He moved one hand over the surface of his other arm. "—but when I touch my bones, it feels like firm skin to me. I also don't feel the need for food, sleep, or even pleasure."
He then turns his gaze towards me again.
"But even though I now have the body of an undead, I still feel like it's my mind that is the most affected. Don't get me wrong, I still have the mind of a human deep down, even though it has taken on some undead qualities." he explains.
"And you? How does your new body feel to you, Lydia?" he asks.
I move my arms in front of me and stare at them.
"It's a bit strange. My entire body is made of mana, and I feel like every bit of mana that composes it can be manipulated at will. It's as if my body isn't really a body, but a manifestation of my consciousness."
I concentrate on my arms and visualize them transforming into a cloud of mana. Almost right away, my arms turn into a mist that I can control as if they were still my physical limbs. I then turn the mist back into my arms before changing them into the arms of a werewolf. They have fur the same color as my hair, a soft yellow, and claws that look sharper than a sword. I then turn them back into my normal arms.
"My body can be anything I want, I think. I'm not sure what the limits are, since this wasn't something I could do in YGGDRASIL. But I still feel more comfortable in my original form for some reason, like the other forms are some kind of... I don't know, uncomfortable shoes? As for my mind, the changes seem far more subtle than yours. I hadn't even noticed most of them before you pointed them out." I explain.
I examine my reflection in the mirror.
"Speaking of which, I don't think this is a bad thing per se. I mean, if being more childish and carefree allows me to relax and be less nervous around people, I'm all for it. And I also think that feeling less helped you earlier. And it's not like you don't feel anything at all, so I don't think that's a bad thing for you either, right?" I note.
Momonga doesn't reply; he simply stares at me for a few seconds.
"Maybe you're right; it did help me when I spoke with the NPCs. I'm certain that it will help you feel comfortable being yourself with them as well." he replies eventually.
"I-I suppose. All right! I'm gonna to go to the 11th floor to see if everything is still in its place. Bye⁓." I reply hastily with a blush, feeling embarrassed for reasons even I don't fully understand.
I use the [Eye of Heimdall] to teleport to Ivory's Temple on the 11th floor before he can respond.
Momonga's POV
"Hey, wait!" I try to say as I watch her teleport away. I can't help but think back to what she said.
Subtle, huh?
There's nothing subtle about it!
Well, I guess that for her it must be subtle. She already acted childish before, but I don't know how much of it was roleplay and how much was genuine.
I look back at myself in, the mirror.
At least I'm not alone.
I look back at the sword that I put away earlier.
Maybe that would work?
"[Create Greater Item]"
After casting the spell, my body is instantly covered by a full set of plate armor. The armor is made of steel with a black matte luster and is covered with gold and purple decorations, giving it a very expensive appearance.
Even though my body feels some pressure from the armor, it does not restrict my movement.
I try to pick up the sword and swing, but just like last time, the sword fell back on the ground.
I stare at the sword on the ground for a little while, frustrated at myself for having forgotten something so simple.
Of course, I didn't cast [Perfect warrior], did I?
I put a hand on my face in a soft face palm and sigh.
"[Perfect Warrior] "
I then pick up the sword again and put all my frustration on the next swing.
Despite the lack of any real technique, the power of that swing alone was enough to create a gust of wind in the room.
The cape of my armor fluttered behind me and various items in the room shook from the sudden gust of air.
[Perfect Warrior] seems to work normally as well.
I put the sword back in its place and look at myself in the mirror.
Maybe I can go out like this without anyone recognizing me in that armor.
