The first side plot of the novel ‘Sword of The Dark Heaven’.
Even though Wolryung read the novel multiple times he barely remembered about this plot.
Well, even if he read the novel a thousand times, it still would’ve been difficult to remember that side plot. There was a good reason for it though. In the novel this side plot was barely mentioned.
According to the storyline of the original novel, Jin Ho reached the two thugs after the death of Wolryung. And out of anger Jin Ho killed the thugs brutally. So, Jin Ho had never gone to the Murim Alliance Western Sichuan Branch.
And the author mentioned this side plot in the novel with only a few words.
He could only remember a portion of it now. A group of underworld members ambushed the alliance during the night and massacred the whole branch. And unexpectedly, it was tonight.
‘No! Why?! Just why didn’t I remember it earlier?!’
Wolryung was filled with frustration now.
He just changed something he shouldn’t have. But maybe there was still time.
‘Right!’
Wolryung suddenly stood up in an instant which made everyone startled. He looked at Jin Ho. It looked like Wolryung was in a hurry.
“Jin Ho. We are leaving this place now. Let’s go.”

Everyone was dumbfounded by it.
‘What is it now?’
They just arrived here a few minutes ago, and now he was saying to leave. At least do the thing you came here for.
‘Did he go mad even more after collapsing earlier?’
They were just staring at Wolryung’s back who hurriedly went toward the cart. Then he looked back.
“What the hell are you doing?! I said we need to leave!”

But he sounded very serious now.
Without second thought Jin Ho and the chubby boy followed him.
“But, young master.”
“What?”
“Who will pull the cart now? I mean those thugs are at the hands of Alliance though.”

With a blank face, Wolryung looked toward the thugs and guards who looked puzzled.
“Go get those bastards here.”
“B-But they are at the hands of the alliance branch now.”
Upon hearing that, Wolryung gave Jin Ho a cold look.
“I said go get them. Those alliance bastards didn’t recognize them at first. It’s their fault.”
Here comes another nonsense.
‘But they recognize them now though.’
And by the reaction when they recognised them, it looked like the thugs were quite popular.
“They won’t hand them over to us though.”

Wolryung now started screaming like some mad dog.
“Do I need to explain everything to you?! Tell them we will hand them over tomorrow! We have something to do with those bastard thugs! Give any excuse you can! Just bring them here now! We don’t have time!”

The way Wolryung screamed at Jin Ho, Cheon Jo and the chubby boy felt bad for him.
‘Poor boy. He doesn’t deserve it though.’
“I apologise, young master. I’ll go right away.”
Jin Ho was about to go toward the guards.

A thunderous roar came from far behind them.

The sound of countless people running toward them could be heard.
All of them looked behind to see what was happening.

A huge number of people in black robes were running toward them with their swords in hand.

Seeing this, Wolryung could do nothing but force a weak laugh.

Jin Ho sighed softly as he agreed with Wolryung.
“Ok, young master. Let’s go inside.”
With that, they started going inside the gate.

Everyone stopped as suddenly Wolryung told them to.
“What is it, young master?”
Wolryung looked toward the guard who was still there.
“Take him with us. I have uses for him.”

Jin Ho wanted to ask why, but he didn’t as there was no time. The ambushers were already very close. So, he just went near the guard and hauled him over his shoulder as if kidnapping him.
“W-What are you doing, young man?! Let go of me! I...!”
“Shut up, you bastard!”
“...”
The guard looked toward the side from where the shout came.
“If you say a single word I’m gonna cut your tongue out!”
“...”
Did this young man in front of him just threaten him?
Wasn’t he the one who was behaving politely a few minutes ago?
But seeing Wolryung’s cold face the guard couldn’t say anything.
“What about the thugs, young master?”
“Leave them be. We don’t have any time to worry about them.”

Just like that they went inside the alliance gate.
