He studied at the most prestigious university in the country, Vren Royal, a school known for shaping CEOs, doctors, politicians, and world class artists.

Climbing in popularity had never been difficult for Persha.

“Did you see the junior in the Business Department?”

“Yes.

He’s so beautiful.

Girls are going to flock to him like bees to honey.”

He heard their whispers and side compliments.

He saw the lingering stares and curious gazes.

But unfortunately for them, he did not swing that way.

He swung the other way.

The hard way.

The way of stone hard abs, broad shoulders, strong arms that made your mouth water, warm chests to rest your head on, and a kind of masculine Sexiness capable of stopping hearts.

Persha loved men.

Men only.

At least, that was what he thought.

Making the basketball team had not been difficult either.

He knew the sport well and already had shelves of medals from his teenage years.

His love for basketball rivaled his love for men.

Becoming captain had been even easier.

It was not just because of his beauty, confidence, or popularity.

Persha was genuinely an exceptional player.

Fast on the court, smart with strategy, and impossible to ignore.

At first, people were shocked that someone so pretty would be interested in such a rough sport.

The Business Block was filled with polished students preparing to either build empires of their own or inherit their family companies, just like him.

Their dress code was formal, though less strict than other universities.

Black trousers, any color of shirt, and dress shoes.

Honestly, they were lucky.

Other schools forced students to wear full suits every single day.

Plain, boring suits.

In summary, Persha’s life was close to perfect.

But there would always be people who believed they could knock over the carefully built deck of cards that made up his personality.

Someone like Christopher Blake.

To Persha, Christopher was simply a man trapped inside the closet, gripping the door shut with both hands and refusing to come out.

Unfortunately for him, Christopher was also his vice captain.

Yikes.

“Move, faggot.”

Christopher slammed his shoulder against Persha intentionally while passing him in the cafeteria.

“Christopher, hiiii.

Good morning,” Persha replied cheerfully, completely ignoring the insult.

“Keep your greetings to yourself, gay fucker, before you infect me with your gayness,” Christopher snapped, aggressively dusting off his shirt.

“Infect you with my gayness?” Persha sighed dramatically.

“Christopher, grow up.

It’s 2026.”

Then his expression sharpened slightly.

“Besides, I’d rather be gay than be related to a rapist.

Say hello to your brother for me.”

The cafeteria instantly erupted into murmurs.

It was no secret that Christopher’s older brother, Stephen Blake, had recently been involved in a rape scandal.

The Blake family, owners of a successful electronics company, had barely managed to survive the media backlash.

Christopher froze.

For once, he had no comeback.

His face burned with humiliation as he stormed away, boiling with anger.

“What a dick.

Why is he always so rude?” Persha’s best friend, Baylee Miles, muttered.

“Pay him no mind,” Persha replied casually.

“He’s just childish and has unresolved inner conflict with his sexuality.”

The table burst into laughter.

“The student council presidents are holding a mixed semester Gallor this term,” Baylee announced.

A Gallor was basically a lavish department party held at the beginning of every semester for students to wine, dine, and socialize.

But it had never been mixed before.

“Wait, so we’re actually going to party with other departments?” Victoria Keeps asked excitedly.

Victoria was the daughter of Jonathan Keeps, one of the biggest business moguls in the country.

“Apparently the Art Department, Science Department, and Commercial Department are all attending together,” another friend squealed.

“I can’t wait.

We’ll finally get to meet new people.”

“Yeah, and Marcel will be there too,” Baylee added casually.

The entire table went silent.

Every eye slowly turned toward Persha.

Marcel Stonner.

Persha’s ex boyfriend.

And also the student council president of the Science Department.

“What?” Persha scoffed.

“Oh my God, I’m over him already.

Let it go.”

“Sure,” Baylee replied suspiciously.

“Your breakup was messy,” Victoria said carefully.

“Are you sure you’ll be okay seeing him there?”

“Yeah.

I’m fine.”

He was not fine.

Not even remotely.

He and Marcel had broken up because Marcel cheated on him with Katrina Vouge.

Yes, that Katrina Vouge.

Daughter of the Vouge family.

What made it worse was not just the cheating.

It was the fact that Marcel went public with her almost immediately, proudly displaying a relationship he had spent years hiding with Persha.

So no, Persha was definitely not okay.

And that was exactly why he planned on changing things this semester.

Operation Fuck Marcel Over had officially begun.
