Zhang Yun had relied on his youth to dare fight Li Bing, but knocking a man down with a single punch and sending him flying with one kick…

“How could this be possible?” he thought.

Seeing the Iron Ring on his finger, Zhang Yun’s mind stirred.Full novel: The Fantastic Little Farmer — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Could this be a buff from the Iron Ring?”

“No, that’s not right!

I didn’t just put it on, and nothing unusual happened before.

However, after eating that petal, I did feel strangely hot…

Could that have been a physical transformation process?

If my strength has increased so much, have all other aspects of my body been enhanced as well?”

Instinctively, Zhang Yun lowered his head and glanced down at a certain angle.

Hiding behind a tree, Xiuxun had watched Li Bing get kicked away.

Seeing Zhang Yun standing frozen, she approached him nervously.

“Zhang Yun, are you okay?” Xiuxun tried to grab his clothes, but since he had just come out of the water wearing only a pair of shorts, she ended up tugging on his arm instead.

Zhang Yun snapped out of his daze.

“I’m fine.

I think I kicked a bit too hard and knocked that thug out.”

Still tense, Xiuxun only let out a sigh of relief upon hearing that Li Bing was unconscious.

But she immediately gasped, “Your hand is cut!”

Zhang Yun looked down and smiled.

“It’s nothing.

Just a little scratch.”

He felt a wave of confusion.

“Even a scratch should sting.

Why don’t I feel anything?” he thought.

“What should we do?” Xiuxun asked anxiously.

Rural folks weren’t fragile, and she naturally didn’t carry gauze or band-aids up the mountain.

Getting pricked by thorns was nothing to fuss over, but Zhang Yun had been cut by a knife and was bleeding.

It was definitely more serious.

Xiuxun noted that Zhang Yun was shirtless, and she was only wearing a thin blouse, so she couldn’t tear her clothes to bandage him.

After a moment of hesitation, she lifted Zhang Yun’s arm.

Before Zhang Yun could react, he found her lowering her head to suck on the wound.

Some people would suck on a pricked finger to stop the bleeding, and Zhang Yun really wanted to say that it was actually unhygienic.

Saliva contained a lot of bacteria; applying pressure would be much better!

However, feeling the warmth of her lips on his arm sent a strange, tingling sensation through him.

His body trembled slightly, and he swallowed the words on the tip of his tongue.

He was currently wearing nothing but wet shorts, standing merely inches away from a young woman whose lips were pressed against his arm.

This unprecedented experience made his heart race, and his body grew hot and restless.

“The effects of that damn petal definitely haven’t worn off yet!” he thought.

Zhang Yun secretly took a deep breath to maintain his composure.

“Sister-in-law Xiuqin…

I have thick skin.

This little scratch is really nothing.”

Xiuxun continued to hold the wound in her mouth for a moment longer before letting go.

Seeing that it had stopped bleeding, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“Thank goodness it wasn’t too deep, otherwise…”

Looking up, she realized Zhang Yun’s face was merely inches away.

A rush of youthful, masculine energy hit her face, causing her cheeks to burn as she took a few steps back.

“Thank you so much…

for just now,” Xiuxun said, her face flushing even hotter!

Now that she had stepped back, she could see Zhang Yun’s entire physique at a glance.

“I…

I’ll head back first.”

“Oh, okay,” Zhang Yun replied shyly.

Watching Sister-in-law Xiuqin’s figure disappear out of the mountain hollow, Zhang Yun let out a long breath.

His heart was still racing, and his body still felt hot.

“It’s all because of that petal!” he thought.

Zhang Yun picked up the knife, walked over, and slapped Li Bing awake.

“You, you…” Li Bing tried to swing his arm, but upon seeing the knife in Zhang Yun’s hand, he immediately behaved.

“How many of my fish did you steal?” Zhang Yun interrogated, brandishing the blade.

“Don’t do anything crazy!” Li Bing didn’t dare refuse to answer.

“Not…

not many.

The fish were too small.

I scooped some up a few times, but altogether they didn’t even sell for a thousand bucks…”

“And that’s considered a small amount?” Zhang Yun thought.

“Once fully grown, those fish would be worth tens of thousands!” Unable to hold back, he slapped the man across the face.

Li Bing went limp, knocked unconscious once again!

Zhang Yun was left a bit speechless.

“My strength really has increased drastically.

I need to hold back from now on,” he reminded himself.

After being jolted awake again, Li Bing doubled down with a brazen attitude.

“I already gambled away all the money from the fish!

I have nothing to pay you back with, so you might as well just stab me to death!

My life is worthless anyway!”

Zhang Yun sneered.

“You stole so many of my fish and even tried to assault a woman from my village.

Do you really think I don’t dare stab you?”

Li Bing rolled his eyes disdainfully.

“Quit acting like some righteous hero!

Aren’t you two sleeping together?

Who knows how many men this little widow has banged!”

Zhang Yun’s face darkened.

Those were serious accusations.

Let alone Xiuxun being a young widow, even for an unmarried man like himself, having such rumors spread would ruin his reputation!

“Still running your mouth, huh?

Watch me break your legs!” Zhang Yun abruptly stood up.

Li Bing stretched out his leg and clamored like a scoundrel, “Bring it!

If you don’t break my leg today, you’re a coward…”

Before he could finish his sentence, Zhang Yun stomped on his calf.

The CRACK of a breaking bone immediately rang out!

Li Bing was stunned!

“Did this kid actually dare to break my leg?

Is he not afraid of my revenge?” he thought.

Two seconds later, Li Bing let out a bloodcurdling scream and cursed frantically.

“You bastard!

You’re…

you’re dead meat!

I’m going to kill your whole family…”

Zhang Yun stepped on his arm and applied pressure.

“Whose family are you going to kill?”

SNAP!

Another bone broke, this time in his arm.

Li Bing broke out in a cold sweat from the agony, nearly going into shock.

“You’ve got balls…

I’ll remember you!”

Zhang Yun sneered.

“Of course I’ve got balls!

Who was it that said they were going to kill me and throw me into the fish pond earlier?

Might as well use you as fish food!”

Li Bing’s face drastically paled!

If he died here, even if Zhang Yun paid with his life, it wouldn’t bring him back.

His attitude instantly softened.

“Bro!

Boss!

I was wrong!

I have a big mouth, I deserve to die…

Please spare me, I’ll never dare cross you again!”

“Spare you?

Didn’t you say you’d kill my whole family?” Zhang Yun aimed a stomp directly at Li Bing’s face.

Ignoring the aching pain in his crushed nose, Li Bing continued to beg for mercy.

“Boss!

Master!

I was just talking big!

I don’t even have the guts to kill a chicken…

I absolutely won’t dare disrespect you again, and I won’t dare harass that widow…”

Thugs were always bullies who preyed on the weak and feared the strong.

Zhang Yun couldn’t actually kill him, so he had to make him feel true fear!

Keeping his foot on Li Bing’s chin, he looked down at him in overbearing silence.

“Master!

I’m sorry!

I’ll never dare do it again, I won’t even dare step foot in your village…”

Zhang Yun moved his foot to the man’s chest, and then down to his abdomen.

“If you dare spread rumors about me again or ruin Xiuxun’s reputation, I’ll break your third leg!”

Originally, Zhang Yun had wanted to give his third leg a solid kick, but since he was currently barefoot…

he really didn’t want to step on that area!

Having cleanly broken an arm and a leg just moments ago, Li Bing was terrified of receiving another ruthless stomp when Zhang Yun moved to his abdomen.

He literally pissed his pants in fear.

If his third leg was broken, there would be no way to reattach it.

“I-I won’t dare…”

Zhang Yun picked up the man’s phone.

Pale-faced, Li Bing hurriedly clarified, “I was just talking out of my ass earlier.

I didn’t take any pictures of you two…

really!”

After confirming there were no photos of him and Xiuxun, Zhang Yun tossed the phone far into the distance.

“Crawl over and pick it up!”

He needed the phone to call for help, and forcing him to crawl would make him suffer a bit more, leaving a lasting impression.

“Yes, yes…

I’ll pick it up myself,” Li Bing said, shamelessly trying to curry favor.

It wasn’t until Zhang Yun turned and walked back to the wooden cabin that a vicious, resentful glare surfaced in his eyes.

Returning to the wooden cabin, Zhang Yun immediately entered his Personal Space to carefully examine that flower.

He had no idea what kind of plant it was.

Right now, it had only bloomed a single flower with eight petals left.

Zhang Yun plucked another petal to eat, and then watered all of these “native plants.”

The petal still melted in his mouth before he could properly taste it.

It was rapidly absorbed, and his body grew hot once again.

Having experience this time around, Zhang Yun went straight into the pond and soaked there for the entire afternoon!

By the time he put his clothes back on, he noticed his body’s muscle definition had become pronounced, with almost zero excess fat.

His tanned, rough skin had also smoothed out, and he seemed to have become more handsome overall!

As for the stab wound on his arm, not only had it healed, but the scar was nothing more than a faint white mark!

Zhang Yun couldn’t help but gulp inwardly.

“What kind of magical petal is this?

Is it the flower that’s magical, or is it this Personal Space?” he wondered.

“If I transplant ginseng into the empty plots of this space and water them from this pond, will their medicinal effects become incredibly magical too?”

Whistling a cheerful tune, Zhang Yun headed home with a light heart, daydreaming about how much money the fully grown ginseng would sell for…

but as soon as he reached the village entrance, a neighbor rushed out and grabbed him.

“Zhang Yun!

You can’t go back right now!

That hoodlum from Wa Village brought a gang of people and blocked off your courtyard!

Hurry up and find a place to hide for the night!”

Zhang Yun thanked him and sprinted toward his house!

Before he even reached his doorstep, he heard a clamor of voices.

Seeing his return, the villagers watching the commotion all tried to pull him back!

“Zhang Yun is back!

Don’t go in there yet!”

“Leave first!

You can’t reason with people like this.

A wise man knows when to retreat!”

Pushing through the crowd, Zhang Yun saw over a dozen robust young men standing in his courtyard.

A stretcher was laid on the ground, carrying a groaning Li Bing, whose arm and leg were immobilized in splints.

His father, Zhang Fu, was backed up against the front door, accompanied by their neighbor, Uncle Xi.

Right now, a man in his fifties was pointing at Zhang Fu, berating him relentlessly!
