‎At that moment, the Co-CEO, Jennifer, also arrived.

‎Jennifer spoke carefully,

‎”CEO Zaroon sir, you…”

‎Zaroon calmly replied,

‎”Yes.

I want to check if my company is running well.”

‎Zimal and Sahriar froze in shock.

‎Without hesitation, Zaroon gently removed Zimal’s hand from Sahriar’s grip and pulled Zimal along with him, walking out of there.

‎Sahriar turned to Jennifer, confused and tense.

‎”Miss Jennifer… is he the CEO?”

‎Jennifer lowered her gaze.

‎”I’m sorry sir… I’m not permitted to tell this, but now you already know the truth.”

‎Sahriar Sikander clenched his jaw in anger.

‎”What the…”

‎Zimal turned toward Zaroon, shocked.

‎”Zaroon… are you kidding me?”

‎Zaroon looked at her with a calm expression.

‎”Yes.

And Jennifer is also involved in this.”

‎Zimal’s voice rose in frustration.

‎”You stupid!

You knew I worked here!”

‎Zaroon replied coldly,

‎”You still don’t believe me?

I am the CEO.”

‎After a pause, Zaroon said,

‎”Okay.

Call a meeting with all staff.”

‎He immediately called everyone into the meeting room.

Within minutes, all employees gathered.

‎Standing at the front, Zaroon announced firmly,

‎”I am the CEO of this company.

And Miss Zimal is not just an employee—she is the manager here.”

‎Zimal’s eyes widened.

‎”Sir…”

‎Zaroon gave a slight wink.

‎The meeting ended, and tension still filled the room.

‎Later, Sahriar approached Zaroon.

His tone was sharp.

‎”So… are you happy with all this?”

‎Zimal quickly stepped in, annoyed,

‎”Sir, let it be.

You are nothing to me, so please stay away.”

‎Zaroon’s eyes narrowed slightly as he heard her words.

‎”Did you hear that?”

‎Sahriar stood frozen after hearing everything.

His mind went blank, unable to process what had just happened.

‎Zimal gently held Zaroon’s hand and walked away with him, leaving the place behind.

‎Sahriar remained standing there alone, completely still.

‎Zimal looked at Zaroon as they walked.

‎”Are you really the CEO?

I still don’t believe it.”

‎Zaroon smirked slightly.

‎”Madam, should I serve at your feet so you finally believe me?”

‎Zimal’s eyes narrowed.

‎”Shut up.”

‎Zaroon chuckled.

‎”Okay, Miss Madam… and Mister.”

‎Zimal frowned immediately.

‎”Stop that.”

‎Zaroon leaned closer playfully.

‎”Baby.”

‎Zimal stopped walking and looked at him sharply.

‎”Are you even in your senses?”

‎Zaroon laughed softly.

‎”I’m just kidding.”

‎Despite everything, both of them ended up laughing lightly as they continued walking.

‎Behind them, Sahriar stood silently, watching everything.

His eyes slowly filled with tears.

‎After some time, Sahriar returned to his office and sat down on his chair, staring blankly at the table.

‎Ibrahim noticed his silence and stepped forward. The source of this chapter is g.com.

‎”Sir… are you crying?”

‎Sahriar’s voice broke slightly.

‎”She chose Zaroon…”

‎Ibrahim frowned.

‎”Sir… but you never even proposed Miss Zimal.”

‎Sahriar shook his head.

‎”No… I won’t.”

‎Ibrahim looked confused.

‎”Then how did she choose Zaroon over you?

There was nothing between you two.”

‎Sahriar’s eyes dropped.

His voice turned empty.

‎”So I mean nothing to him… nothing at all.”

‎Tears slowly continued to fall from his eyes as he sat there in silence.

‎Sahriar Sikander’s voice broke as he stood there.”I want her to talk to me the way she talks to Zaroon… I want to be important in her life.”

‎Ibrahim stepped closer, worried.”Sir, are you okay?”

‎Sahriar couldn’t hold himself together anymore.

He broke down in tears.

Ibrahim immediately hugged him, trying to calm him.

‎”I’m sure… if you propose her, she will choose you over Zaroon,” Ibrahim said softly.

‎Then he added,”Oh sir, you have a meeting today with Innovexa Company.”

‎Sahriar wiped his tears quickly.”Really?”

‎”Yes,” Ibrahim replied.

“So prepare for it.”

‎Sahriar nodded slowly.”Okay… I will tell her that I like her more than Zaroon.”

‎Ibrahim sighed.”No, sir.

Don’t think about a proposal right now.

There are five companies attending the meeting.

You are the one who has to represent us.”

‎Sahriar exhaled sharply.”Uff…”

‎The Next Day

‎Everyone gathered in the meeting room, including Zimal.

‎At that moment, Zawar arrived.

‎Zawar looked at Zimal and immediately spoke with concern,”Miss Zimal… I’m sorry I’m late.

I heard about you.”

‎Before Zimal could respond, Zawar suddenly pulled her into a hug.

‎Everyone in the room froze in shock.

‎Sahriar’s eyes widened.

His fists tightened.

‎”Now who is going to save Zimal from all these people?” he thought.

‎He stepped forward immediately and pushed Zawar away.

‎Sahriar’s voice turned strict.”Control yourself.

We are here for a meeting, not for this.

Now get lost.”

‎Zimal stood there in tension, still confused by everything happening.

‎At that moment, Zaroon entered the room and saw the scene.

‎His eyes narrowed.”Who is this stupid guy?”

‎Zimal quickly replied,”He is my friend.”

‎Zaroon scoffed.”What friend?

I’ll throw him out right now.”

‎Zimal sighed and said, “Okay, let it be.”

‎Sahriar Sikander glanced at her.

“I’ll see him at the office.”

‎Afifa shook her head and laughed.

“Those two fools are in love.”

‎Zimal ignored the comment.

“Okay, let’s start the meeting.

The representatives from the other companies have arrived.”

‎The meeting began, but Sahriar’s mind was elsewhere.

He kept thinking about how he had confessed his feelings to Zimal.

‎On the other side of the room, Zaroon was lost in his own thoughts.

‎”How can I make her believe that I truly love her?” he wondered.

‎After the meeting ended, Zimal walked outside the company building where Zawar was waiting for her.

‎”What was that behavior?” Zimal asked.

‎Zawar looked guilty.

“I’m sorry.

I was worried about you.

I wasn’t here during those days, so I couldn’t see you.

Are you okay now?”

‎”Yes, I’m okay,” Zimal replied.

‎Zawar nodded before asking, “Who’s the man standing so close to you?”

‎”My new boss.

‎Zawar’s expression darkened.

“Stay away from him.

He looks dangerous.”

‎Zimal raised an eyebrow.

“More dangerous than Sahriar Sikander?”

‎Both of them burst into laughter.

‎A few minutes later, Zawar left, and the invited guests also began leaving.

‎Zimal turned around and noticed someone still standing nearby.

‎”Sahriar Sikander, are you still here?”

‎”Yes,” Sahriar replied, his eyes fixed on her.

“I was waiting for you.”

‎Zimal looked at Sahriar and asked, “Why?

Have you found the criminal who attacked me?”

‎Sahriar sighed.

“Yes…

but I couldn’t find out who was behind it.”

‎”Oh.

Then what now?” Zimal asked.

‎Sahriar seemed about to say something when suddenly a voice interrupted them.

‎”Let’s go.”

‎It was Zaroon.

‎Zimal turned toward him.

“One minute.

Yes, sir, what were you going to say?”

‎Before Sahriar could answer, Zaroon spoke again.

‎”It’s late.

We should leave now.”

‎Zimal nodded and started walking with Zaroon.

‎”Zimal.”

‎Sahriar’s voice stopped her.

He gently took her hand and led her a few steps away.

‎Zaroon remained standing there, watching them.

‎Zimal looked at Sahriar with concern.

“Sir, is anything serious?”

‎”Yes,” Sahriar replied, but before he could continue, Zimal suddenly remembered something.

‎”I think I forgot my diary in your office.”

‎Sahriar frowned.

“No, I didn’t see any diary there.”

‎”Oh, okay.”

‎There was a brief silence.

‎”Is the diary important?” Sahriar asked.

‎Zimal shook her head.

“No, sir.”

‎Relieved, Sahriar lowered his hand and smiled.

‎Zimal blinked in surprise.

‎”Wow…

your smile is so nice.”

‎For a moment, Sahriar froze.

‎Then his face turned bright red.

‎Without saying another word, he quickly turned around and ran toward his car.

‎”Sir!” Zimal called after him.

‎Sahriar got into the car, his heart racing.

‎”How can someone be this cute?” he thought.

“Every time she speaks, she makes my heart lose control.”

‎Just then, Ibrahim approached the car.

‎”Sir, I’m here.”

‎”Okay, let’s go,” Sahriar said.

‎Ibrahim nodded and started the car.

Within moments, they were on their way back to the office.

‎Meanwhile, Zimal was still standing outside the company building, lost in thought.

‎”Zimal?”

‎She looked up and found Zaroon staring at her.

‎”Yes?

I was just thinking.”

‎Zaroon took a deep breath.

His heart was beating fast.

‎”I love you, Zimal.”

‎For a moment, silence surrounded them.

‎Zimal lowered her gaze and softly replied,

‎”Hmm…”

‎She didn’t know what to say.

‎Her mind was filled with confusion, and her heart was still searching for an answer.

‎Zaroon” i said i love you
