Cedric Sutton was still reading the contents of the will when he noticed Julianna Garland’s eyes widen.

She stared into the distance as if she had seen a ghost, her face filled with terror.

Recalling that this Ms.

Garland had seemingly experienced abnormal fluctuations in her brain neurons earlier, he couldn’t help but pause.

He frowned almost imperceptibly, pushed up the glasses on the bridge of his nose, and asked, “Ms.

Garland, are you feeling alright?

Do you need me to call a doctor for you?”

“Call a doctor?

No.” Julianna shook her head.

She turned to look at the unopened envelope of exorbitant medical bills on the nightstand, her expression turning resolute.

“Don’t call a doctor.”

She blinked hard twice and asked tentatively, “Lawyer Sutton, aside from the will, did you say anything else just now?” She let out a hollow, awkward laugh.

“For example, that I need to complete some sort of quests or tasks to inherit my great-aunt’s estate.”

“Other topics?” Cedric Sutton exchanged a glance with his assistant.

The assistant’s mouth twitched, and he pointed at his own head, implying that Julianna had a few screws loose.

A look of pity flashed in Cedric Sutton’s eyes as he shook his head.

“No, Ms.

Garland.

The inheritance left by Ms.

Samantha doesn’t come with any extra, superfluous tasks.

It directly stipulates that you are the sole recipient.”

When it came to matters of inheritance, he quickly regained his stern, professional demeanor.

“However, Ms.

Samantha did leave behind legal documents stipulating that the heir may not sell, sublease, or otherwise dispose of Earth Star in any manner.

It must be inherited by you personally and managed by you directly.” He paused before adding, “That is the one and only condition for inheriting the estate.

There are no other tests or tasks involved.”

Julianna pressed further, “Did you see anything else?”

A female assistant standing behind Cedric Sutton wore a sympathetic expression.

Judging by her look alone, Julianna knew the answer.

She blinked again.

Just as she suspected, the two lines of small text outlining her quests were still floating right before her eyes.

Clearly, Cedric Sutton and the others couldn’t see them.

Quest 1: Report to Earth Star and activate the quest system.

Quest 2: Unlock conditions not met.

Please complete Quest 1 to reveal the prompt.

She took a deep breath and asked, “What kind of planet did my great-aunt leave me?”

Cedric Sutton had initially worried that there was something wrong with her mind.

Hearing her bring the topic back to the will, he couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.

He was a busy man with many matters to attend to.

This inheritance case had no disputes and shouldn’t have delayed him for too long.

Unfortunately, the heir was in poor condition, and Julianna was the sole surviving blood descendant of Samantha Garland.

Cedric Sutton pulled a folder from a pile of documents and handed it to her.

“This is the planet Ms.

Samantha purchased.

The planet belonged entirely to Ms.

Samantha.

She named it Earth Star, and it has already been officially registered and recorded on Novus.”

As he spoke, Julianna’s mind went blank for a moment.

She numbly accepted the documents he handed her.

“The total area of Earth Star has been precisely measured at nearly twenty-two million square kilometers,” Cedric Sutton said, continuing his explanation.

“This includes mountains, lakes, rivers, and oceans.

Unfortunately, the amount of clean water suitable for drinking in these sources is low, and the water composition is quite complex.

You may need to hire a professional water purification company to clean it up later.

However, you will have to pay the related fees yourself.”

He paused for a moment before adding, “Ms.

Garland, our firm has some partner companies in that field.

If you trust me, I can recommend a suitable and reliable agency to you.”

Julianna nodded blankly.

Seeing that she seemed to be listening, Cedric Sutton continued, “Ms.

Samantha once hired professionals to survey Earth Star.

Currently, the explored habitable area is only about 1,650 square kilometers.

Within these surveyed and guaranteed-safe residential zones, investigations showed that the mountains and forests contain only seven types of existing vegetation.

None of them are rare plants, but there are no lethal miasmas that could cause fatal infections either.

Here is the inspection report.”

With every sentence he spoke, the assistant handed over another stack of documents.

“There are no rare animals or insects.

There are thirty-six species of mosquitoes and bugs, but their bites are not lethal.

Here is the experimental data.”

Julianna stared at the massive pile of documents being pushed toward her, a dazed look washing over her face.

“However, in the unsurveyed areas—” Cedric Sutton kept pulling out files and handing them to her as he spoke.

“The air quality in these regions…

the degree of water pollution…

highly venomous insects…”
