News of Lorentz’s return spread like wildfire — even Victor heard about it.

Lorentz, along with his army, had reclaimed control over the entire southern region.

Because of that, many of the Black Fox’s operations were halted, and the organization’s top leaders started questioning Victor about what had really happened.Full novel: The ghosts of 1987 — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Feeling threatened, Victor decided to launch an attack on the south side using his forces.

However, when he sent his troops there, no response came back.

Two days later, shipments meant for Black Fox buyers were successfully delivered — but when the containers were opened, only the severed heads of Victor’s soldiers were inside.

Realizing this, Victor was enraged.

Lorentz even sent a warning: “Anyone standing behind this will meet the same end as the Black Fox.” This warning spread fear among Victor’s gang.

Meanwhile, Lorentz told Harold, “Send someone trustworthy to protect our families until this war ends.” Harold immediately sent Cholan, saying, “Take Lorentz’s parents with you and stay at the safe location.” Cholan obeyed, taking Lorentz’s parents to the place.

“I was sent to protect you,” Cholan said.

Christy didn’t respond—she simply stared at her son silently.

Later, when Karikalan arrived, Christy tearfully told him, “Thank your God that my son is still alive today because of you.”

Just then, a sudden attack broke out at Pearl Harbour.

A group was sent to kill Lorentz, but Harold and Lorentz fought fiercely, defeating many of their enemies.

In the middle of the battle, Harold got a call — “You’ve been suspended from this investigation. The government now knows everything that’s happening. The case has been transferred to the WCAO,” the voice said.

WCAO forces were already moving south to confront the Black Fox, since they had their own military units.

A massive war was coming — both sides preparing for destruction.

Lorentz told Harold, “Before the WCAO reaches us, we must finish Victor ourselves. Otherwise, we’ll be wiped out.”

They boarded helicopters with their troops, heading toward Victor’s island.

But Victor already knew they were coming — his army was ready. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

A brutal war broke out between both sides.

Lorentz and Harold fought through waves of enemies until Lorentz and Victor finally faced each other.

Their duel was intense — swords clashing, blood flowing, neither giving up.

But after a long fight, Victor struck Lorentz down.

Lorentz collapsed to the ground.

Harold was captured soon after.

Seeing their leader fall, Lorentz’s army surrendered.

Victor approached the fallen Lorentz and said coldly, “I never imagined you’d stand alive before me again. I spared you once… but now, you’ll die by my hands.”

As he raised his sword, Victor noticed something — standing behind him were Meera, Christy, Karikalan, Cholan, and Harold’s parents — all held at gunpoint.

Victor smirked and said, “First, I’ll kill you in front of your family. Then I’ll feed them to the Sentinels on Sentinel Island.”

Saying that, he drew his sword and swung it in a single deadly strike…
