“Hi E!!” Roberta literally shrieked in the most cranky tone ever.

I completely zoned out immediately.

Don’t blow off my ear drums I thought to myself. This girl’s gonna make me sick.

I plugged in my earphones, used my hair to cover them and waited for the teacher to arrive.

After class I decided to check out the library.

It seemed promising from the outside but when I scanned inside, I was astounded.

Empty that was the only word that came to my head.

I mean what the duck?

Why the hell is it so freaking empty?

There was really something fishy here.

There wasn’t a student in sight and the librarian seemed to be…

unavailable?

How interesting.

I moved around in the library and finally realized that it wasn’t as empty as I thought.

A librarian and some students were all in the second floor of the library while some other students resided in the above floors with other librarians.

But I was curious.

Why was no one in the ground floor of the library?

Not even the librarian?

I felt a faint strange power on the ground floor.

Although it was faint, it’s purpose was obvious.

It was protecting the ground floor.

From what?

I thought to myself.

I noticed that this strange power had sensed my presence but did nothing to attack me.

Strange.

I walked closer to a wall and read the notice placed there.

“Unopen to all save two”, it read.

What the heck?

Save two my ass!!

How did I get in here if the rules said save two?

“Because you’re the second person ruled out as an exception” a familiar voice said behind me.

I whirled round and tripped over my shoes or feet?

Didn’t matter.

E grabbed my arm to stop me from falling and making an embarrassing mess of myself and to stabilize me.

Once he touched me, unknown sensations ran through my blood stream and veins at once.

I froze and looked at E. Get faster updates on g.com.

He seemed even more beautiful than when we last met.

His blue green eyes were glowing immensely and I saw my eyes in his doing basically the same thing.

I was shocked then I pulled away from him.

“Hello” he spoke for the second time since we met today.

“E” I nodded at him as a way of acknowledgement.

Then I recalled what he’d said earlier on.

This guy.

Really?

“You read my mind” I accused perfunctorily.

I was angry.

“Mmmm” he agreed at once.

I groaned.

“Why?” I asked astounded and confused

“I can’t help it” he shrugged and I sighed when I saw he wasn’t lying.

Obviously he would generally gain nothing from reading or spying anyway unless retrieving basic information.

I trudged behind E to some nearby seats and we sat down quietly.

I watched E for a while and then made my decision to question him.
