I withdrew my powers, unlocked the door and windows but never broke my gaze from him.

So many questions flew around in my mind but I couldn’t say anything like I was tongue-tied.

I felt drawn to his blue green eyes and I didn’t look away.Full novel: The Heirs: ZECA — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was like he stared at me as if mesmerized.

We stared at each other for a while till I finally found my tongue and as I opened my mouth to ask him a question, the door opened and a girl walked in.

“E!!!” She exclaimed and we looked away from each other.

I stared at the girl.

She was a blonde with green eyes, few freckles on her face and had quite a gorgeous body with full lips and a smile that never seemed to leave her face.

She seemed very confident with the way she walked towards E.

Maybe they were dating.

I felt hurt at the thought but I didn’t know the reason why.

“I didn’t think I’d find you here!” she grinned.

She wore a short grey gown that my doubts about them dating lessened.

I got angry but then scoffed inwardly but when I heard nothing I looked at them both and found them staring at me.

Wasn’t that inwardly?

I pretended to cough and looked away but I saw E’s lips curve up a little.

He was obviously amused.

“Are you here for something Roberta?” I heard his sexy voice for the first time today and gulped.

But what he’d said to the girl, Roberta. Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.

Awkward.

I stifled a laugh and pretended to cough again.

This time when I looked at them and saw them staring at me, I gave a small smile and saw half a smile playing on E’s lips.

I picked up my phone and became serious taking my mind away from them altogether so much that I didn’t hear anything.

I felt something was wrong with the vibes of today.

It wasn’t like yesterday.

Well how could’ve an unconscious me have known.

I couldn’t leave the class because more students kept trooping in.

Drake was an Infinity so texted him to scan the perimeter and if possible check the whole school.

I raised my head and stared at the teacher who’d just entered.

He looked at me for a second and began teaching.

After a while, Drake sent me a message.

‘Someone inside your class is behind this’ he sent.

‘Whoever it is cloaking the school.

Everyone here that has powers seems to be aware of it’ he sent again.

I’m in a villain’s filled school yay!!

I thought to myself.

‘I can’t find out who it is.

If I use my powers, everyone would know who I am.

In dangerous situations like this Drake was never for one bit sarcastic.

‘It’s a he.

His name is….’ I couldn’t read the other part.

I’d dumped the phone in my bag and saw that everyone in the class were staring at me except E who was swirling his pen on his desk.

I realized the teacher had asked me a question.

“Miss Zoe?” the teacher whatever his name was called me

“Yes?” I answered staring at him blankly

“What’s the answer?” he asked and I remembered I was half listening to him.

“Metamorphosis” I said staring at him and him and everyone was shocked.

Did I say the wrong answer?

I was very sure of my answer.

I stared at E and saw his face was turned a bit in my direction with a half-smile on his face.

Then I knew I was correct.

He knew what I was doing.

All of them knew I was barely listening to whatever it the teacher was saying

“That is correct” the teacher reluctantly said and everyone sighed.

I smiled knowing they were all looking for an opportunity to laugh a lot at me.

I picked my phone again still half listening to what he was saying.

I completed the text and froze when I read the name of the person.
