A sudden sensation of weightlessness hit Lin Yan, as though he were plummeting from a great height.
His eyes snapped open, only to find himself standing in the middle of a vast, futuristic hall.
So this is the Transit Hall?
Lin Yan quickly surveyed his surroundings.
The hall was circular, its domed ceiling soaring so high overhead that it seemed to disappear into infinity. A boundless starscape stretched across it, countless stars slowly wheeling across the darkness in a breathtaking celestial display.
Beneath his feet, the floor was made of some kind of smooth, faintly luminous metal, its polished surface reflecting the silhouettes of people passing by.
At the center of the hall stood an enormous cylindrical structure bathed in a soft white glow. Lines of information scrolled continuously across its surface.
[Welcome to the Infinite Corridor Transit Hall.]

People streamed through the hall around him, dressed in every imaginable style. Some wore ancient armor, others were clad in high-tech powered armor, while others, like Lin Yan, were dressed in ordinary modern clothes.
Many hurried past, while small groups clustered together, speaking in hushed voices. Here and there, a few people stood frozen in place, staring around in bewilderment—clearly newcomers, just like him.
A faint current of energy seemed to hum through the air.
Voices filled the vast hall, speaking in countless languages and accents. Yet strangely, Lin Yan could understand every single one of them.
So this is the Infinite World’s Transit Hall…
Awe washed over Lin Yan as he took it all in. It was grander—and far more incredible—than anything he had imagined.
Every wound on his body had healed without so much as a scar. Even his torn and tattered clothes had been restored to perfect condition. It was as though everything he’d endured in the Abandoned Hospital had been nothing more than a nightmare.
But he knew it hadn’t been a dream.
He curled his fingers into a fist, sensing his increased mental energy and the new information now etched into his mind. A faint smile tugged at his lips.
It had all been real.
He’d survived and come out stronger for it.
Open status window.
A translucent blue screen instantly appeared before him.

Lin Yan’s gaze settled on the Points section.
Five thousand points. That’s got to be a decent amount.
He’d seen plenty of players in the hall setting up stalls or heading into shops advertising things like equipment enhancement, skill training, and intel exchange. Clearly, points were the currency that made this place go round.
Let’s see what the hidden reward is first.
A flicker of anticipation stirred within him as he selected the Claim Hidden Reward option.
[Ding!]
[Drawing hidden reward…]
[Congratulations, Player Lin Yan! You got a special building contract: Omnicraft Shop!]
A flash of golden light burst before him. Visit g.com for the full chapter.
An ancient-looking parchment scroll materialized in Lin Yan’s hand, radiating an air of mystery.
The parchment was warm beneath his fingers. Intricate patterns and unfamiliar script covered its surface in shimmering silver ink, faint currents of light rippling across the lines.

[Description: A gift from an unknown existence. Perhaps it will become your greatest asset in the Infinite World or your greatest source of trouble.]
“A craft shop?” Surprise flickered through Lin Yan’s eyes as he stared at the scroll, only to quickly give way to understanding.
This reward might as well have been made specifically for his Omnicrafting talent!
With this shop, he could turn the materials he collected in instances—especially the ones he had no use for—into items and sell them to other players in exchange for points or rarer materials.
Better yet, the shop’s status as an absolute safe zone meant he would have a sanctuary of his own in even the deadliest of instances.
It was almost too perfect.
But Lin Yan didn’t let the excitement go to his head. His gaze lingered on the final words of the description: or your greatest source of trouble.
After all, an innocent man could invite disaster simply by possessing something others coveted.
And in a dog-eat-dog place like the Infinite World, how many greedy eyes would a shop that offered absolute safety and a reliable way to earn points attract?
If anyone discovered he was the owner, countless predators would descend on him in an instant, ready to tear him apart and seize the contract for themselves.
Lin Yan made the decision immediately. I need to keep this hidden.
Without drawing any attention to himself, he slipped the scroll into the personal quarters provided by the system. His expression returned to normal, as though nothing had happened at all.
For now, he needed to learn more about the Transit Hall. Once he had a better grasp of how things worked here, he could decide what to do with the contract.
