Looking at the rummaged room, Kai couldn’t help but glance at Ren.

“I was searching for my ID.”

“And you did this.”

“Let’s start packing.”

Sigh~

…

…

“….Okay.”

Kai said while picking up a sock from the floor.

Soon, Kai and Ren finished arranging all of Ren’s belongings into two bags.

Click~

“Let’s rest.

You can head back to your dorm now.”

Kai sat on the bed, drenched in sweat.

“Ha-ha.

Didn’t….

you….

receive…..

Store the luggage inside it.”

Ren looked towards the storage bag on the table, then towards the luggage.

“It won’t fit.”

Tired as Kai was, he didn’t argue with Ren.

Instead, he reached out and took the storage bag resting on the table nearby.

After catching his breath, he grabbed one of the bags and pushed it inside the storage bag.

And it went in.

Ren paused.

“How?”

“Heh.”

Kai smirked.

“The Director is a Space-Time Creed user.”

“Creed?”

“Yeah.

When we reach the academy, you will understand it.”

After placing the second bag inside the storage bag,

Kai headed out towards his dorm.

“I will store my luggage inside it too.”

With that, Kai left.

As he closed the door,

Ren’s eyes fell on the bed.

“Let’s rest for now.”

With that, Ren slid beneath the covers.

The lights turned off.

All the rooms grew quiet.

Night descended.

Except one—Kai’s.

His figure could be seen moving back and forth inside the room through the window.

The night passed.

Yet Kai’s room never went dark.

The sun slowly rose once again.

The light traveled through the window and fell directly onto the sheets.

Ren slowly opened his eyes, gazing at the sunlight falling on the bed.

Following the light’s direction,

Ren saw the butterfly basking on the window.

Its wings spread across the surface like a painting.

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.
