(Narrator: Ijan) Layla is the city of the future, home to Migica’s tallest building, the Burj- Qamar. it is a city buzzing with modern attractions, famous for its futuristic infrastructure, artificial islands, tourism and innovations.
That diurnal I was ecstatic. I attained the opportunity to amend my life entirely. I was over the moon with delight. I conveyed my joy to Marinus and Vibhuti, and they were thrilled for me. After us checking out of the resort, we flew to Layla(Dubai). We flew for the duration of eleven hours, and after arriving at Layla, we registered into the resort into two duplex chambers.
These two days, I spent my time preparing for the interview. I read through multiple scenarios of how the interviewer would press various verities of interrogations at me regarding my work. Vibhuti and Marinus insisted on assisting me by pressing various interrogations at me as a trial interview.
As twilight approach Vibhuti accompanied me to an emporium for apparel. I purchased a lilac blazer with slacks of the equivalent hue, a lavender button-up similar to the ones I originally own and a satin purple tie. We returned to the resort, and Vibhuti suggested me to rest, for I must be optimally equipped for the following day.
I had a good nocturnal of respite. I arose by six and headed for my morning routine of cleansing myself. After cleansing myself, I got myself into my new apparel and advanced downstairs. We consumed breakfast in our chamber. During this process, Vibhuti said, “Hey, Ijan, can Marin and I come with you to the office? We will wait outside while you give it.” “Yeah, we really want to be there for you when you absolutely nail it.” Marin supplemented, so I responded, “Sure, you may accompany me.” Thus, we left. We piloted through the city's skyway to the chief workplace of Quantum Tech.
The structure was all glass. We utilised the lift to reach the uppermost floor, which went higher than the sly-way. We reached there, and I instructed Vibhuti and Marin to perch themselves at the lobby chaises. I gave my name to the receptionist over there, and she instructed me on where my interview was going to be taken. I advanced to the fourth conference room on the floor with my resume where a panel of directors awaited for me.
I made my entrance into the chamber and perched myself across from them. The interviewer asked for my name, and I responded. Then he asked, “Ah yes, Ijan, you are here for the lead developer position in our main quantum technology project.” “yes, and here is my portfolio.” The panel read through my portfolio and interviewed me. I responded to the interrogations with precision. At the culmination of the interview the conveyed to me that they would be in touch. As I exited the interview, I felt nervous about what their response would be.
I met with Vibhuti and Marinus in the lobby, where Tejasvi and Evanthia also joined them. All of them pressed me regarding the interview, and to disguise my nervousness, I responded, “I proceeded splendidly.” And they rejoiced in my success.
As we exited the structure, Marinus held, “Hey cuz, we are at Layla and Ijan just got his big break, can we do some sightseeing?” “Or we can go to the Aquaventure Waterpark; it has slides and water.” Vibhuti supplemented, and Evanthia held, “the water park with the ride named after Fýsik gods no way that is offensive.” “Come on can we decide what to do today?” Tejasvi held thus I interjected, “I suggest we should proceed with sightseeing today and for the following three diurnals we may book a three-diurnal permit to the water park.” “That’s a great idea Ijan.” Vibhuti complemented.
Thus, we took the SUV and drove to the city, where we proceeded with our sightseeing. We unanimously decided to start our exploration at the uppermost point at Layla: “The Badr Kamar (Burj Khalifa) is an amazing place to start our sightseeing”, said Vibhuti as we approached the top. We were currently in towering extremes. The city appeared mesmerising below us; however, this sight was no event for Vibhuti and me, for we desired to perform something more adventurous. We then proceeded with the other towering structures(there is a surplus of them in this region) and advanced to the Museum of the Future, something definitely in my bucket list, and had the time of our lives.
We started with the astronomical-mission simulator, which I explained to the group that it, “Utilises highly advanced misapprehension technology which not only provides visual and auditory deception but also kinaesthetic, tactile and possibly gustatory and olfactory too and produces these misapprehensions perceivable to Qamariyyun, for we cannot perceive certain types of illusions.” “That is so cool, but when is the mission going to start?” questioned Tejasvi; however, her query was soon resolved as the simulator thrusted upward and the glass windows made us apprehend that we were advancing into space. Soon we were apprehending that we were in a distant galaxy. We were now astronauts on an astronomical mission in another galaxy. Later we returned to Migica and then proceeded with the next chapter, the beauty of the tropical forest located in one of the undiscovered regions of Migica.

We were apprehending ourselves located in the tropical woodlands of Aqua-patriae. I grew weary of woodlands by this point thus, we skipped it. We now were in a chamber containing the DNA samples of over 2,400 different species which was termed over here as the DNA library. I preferred the lighting of the room. Evanthia was absorbed in learning facts regarding each species.
Then we proceeded to the succeeding chapter with multiple chambers with various types of misconceptions which soothe our minds.
And finally, we proceeded to the main museum exhibits which depict multiple revolutionary appliances that use innovative and futuristic concepts. This was a recurring desire of mine to visit this place, and I experienced an amazing interval over here.
After this, we proceeded back to the resort. We consumed our dinner and then proceeded to our rooms for rest.
(Narration switches to Vibhuti) The next morning we headed to Palm-Jumeirah to the Aquaventure water park. Ok so you guys might be thinking that, but Vibhuti, you are an Angniya and should water be dangerous for you, well, water does not harm Angniyas; it just effect their ability to cast spells at the time their in water. In fact, it rains very heavily in Agni-deshah. So, I was super stoked to ride in the rides in the water park. We reached Palm Jumeirah by 10 in the morning and booked a room in a hotel over there and headed for the water park.
The Palm Jumeirah is a human-made peninsula shaped as a palm. Built using land reclamation, it features a central "trunk," 17 residential "fronds," and a protective "crescent." The area is magically famous for its luxury resorts, upscale dining, and prime real estate.
And now we reached the water park. It was big, and its feature where sleek looking. Me an Ijan decide to go on some rides together while the rest of them try out the Leap of Faith, which terrified me. Many of the rides led back to the great lazy river. We went on the Shockwave, Shark Attack, Medusa's Lair, and The Rapids, which was extremely fun. Later on, we regrouped with rest and had lunch.
We ordered some pizzas, and while we were eating, I asked Ijan, “So, people over here could see through illusions, so how can they not see that we are clearly not Qamari or Qamariyyah?” “Well, Qamari individuals can only see fifty percent of all misapprehensions, some though rare can see ninety percent of them however I employed a level 95 misapprehension which a very limited amount of individuals can master, it took me years to prepare the right formula, however last year one batch of my moon silver precipitate succeeded in fooling me as I looked at it under one of the lenses I made of a a less potent batch. As we were eating, Tejasvi started laughing hysterically, so I asked, “Tej, what’s going on?” “Tej that your nickname.” Marin commented as she started bawling out even more so I said, “Arre Tej, if you would not tell me, how would I know?” Then Marin said annoyed and embarrassed, “Fine, Tejasvi, you can tell to everyone the incident.” Then she started laughing even more and said, “Ok, so we were at the leap of faith” Marin suddenly tensed up as she said that. “I and I were already done with the ride and waiting for Marin to come down. Now we all know Marin is afraid of heights, so he was standing at the top shivering like a fish out of water, ironic right. We both were cheering from below to encourage him to come down, and can you guess what happened?” She paused, and Marin, embarrassed, said, “I fainted slipped into the ride, and when I woke up during the ride I screamed like a girl. But you should know the reason I fainted was…” “Because you are a scaredy-cat.” And Tejasvi proceeded with her laughter while Ijan gave Tejasvi a sharp look and said, “You should not mock Marinus regarding his fears; it is not admirable.” As he said that Tejasvi stopped laughing. Ijan’s face held an expression of stone. His I eye sharply focused on her and I could see the fear behind her ‘playing it cool’ expression. To break the tension, I said, “Hey, after lunch could we hit the lazy pool?”
So, after our tense lunch we rode the rest of the rides like the Odyssey of Terror, Zoomerango and the Aquaconda. After that, we just floated around in the lazy river. But while we all were doing this, there was still some tension between Tejasvi and Ijan, and Marin looked extremely tired physically. So, we had head back to our hotel early because Marin felt extremely tired. He leaned against Ijan which made me a bit jealous, but I did not care.
I gave Marin the front seat so he could feel good and sat with Tejasvi and Evanthia at the back. We chatted about the usual things while Marin slept against Ijan. When we came back to our hotel Ijan carried Marinus to their room and we rested for the day.
