” What if l get angry and transform?

then l will be doomed!” She was like living in two different worlds.

“Didn’t you hear me?”

Alphab’s voice cut through the air, tinged with impatience and a hint of underlying power.

Eva’s eyes swept towards the chiseled features that defined Alphab’s countenance.

His long dark hair with lines of grey hair fell straight to his back, add an air of casual alluring to his commanding.

The strands seemed to dance flickering.

Her glance lowered, taking an intensity of his red eyes, which held a depth that seemed to encompass the world’s unknown.

With his laced voice commanding for her presence, cut through the air with almost an tangled force.

The sound sent shiver and fear into her heart .

” I asked you a question, why did you leave your room?” His voice laced with impatience, as his eyes narrowed, intensifying their red blood glow as if demanding for her blood.

Snapping back to reality, Eva stumbled over her words, her voice could barely whisper,

“!….!…was ..”

Alphab’s snapped tone left no room for hesitations and uncertainty.

Then did she manage to say she was so hungry that only her legs could fall a sleep will the heads stays a wake.

A mixture of fear and vulnerability filled inside her.

Folding his arms across his chest, towering over her with his imposing pose, even the walls seemed to shrink in his presence, amplifying the intensity of his authority,

“Did l hear you say, was” that means it’s in the past.

He whispered gently.,

“Go inside your room take off your clothes , and wait for him.” He commanded.

His brooking voice left no room for arguments.

The whole scenario left Eva so ponderous, ‘who is he?’ It only meant that she wasn’t there for Alphab rather someone else, her mouth remained loose for a while, as she tried to open her mouth to speak, a low guttural growl reverberated through the walls causing her words to catch in her throats, the sound made her shiver even more in fear of everything.

Obediently Eva retreated to her room, sitted waiting as hours elapsed, each moment stretched like eternity to her, as she waited anticipated until , a gentle tall stunning figure come through the door wearing a mask on his face, yet still one could tell how cute he was.

Laying down as tears rolled down her cheeks , the stunning young man stood still looking at how pitiful she looked,

“You have indeed suffered enough!” He whispered as if he already knew Eva from somewhere.

Looking at her nakedness,he pulled a sheet and covered her instead of taking her innocence, this made Eva so surprised.

“Who are you? And why do you look so familiar?” She whispered.

But silence was what she got.

Every thing perplexed her , watching the young man slice a knife through his main vine and splashed it on the white bedsheets gave arise to so many questions.

“Why are you doing this?” She asked ,

But the answer was so astonishing.

“To pay off adept.”

But as they were still chatting foot steps was heard coming towards her door, the young man didn’t hesitate but to slap Eva making her to sound in pain as she wailed , he slapped again the painwas unbearable that she screamed so loud, not knowing why he slapped her, but as foot steps left the door , he didn’t hesitate but to apologize to her for the slapped,

“Sorry, but you can slap back if you feel like.”

Knowing he meant well , she didn’t take it to heart.

As they lay down to rest till the dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in.

The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky.

Golden fingers of sunlight lit up through Eva’s bedroom window.

The young man knew it was time for him to leave the room.

Soon, she heard a knock at the door, Eva opened the door only to find the young woman standing still at the door, she entered and began to sort through her sheets, her gaze fell upon the bloodstained sheet.

Pretending to be embarrassed as Eva’s cheeks flushed a crimson, but she didn’t show any mixture of shame or fear and volunability in her expression.

“Poor thing! It really must have been a hard night for her. But anyways, atleast she made it out alive, unlike others.” The young woman said inwardly.

A flicker of sympathy passed fleetingly across the young woman’s face, her eyes reflecting a brief moment of compassion.

Soon after it quickly vanished, replaced with a steely resolve, clearing her throats.

With a slight tremor of uncertainty on the woman’s voice, she said calmly.

“Breakfast is soon to be served, so pull yourself together.”

She picked the stained clothes out of her room.

Reaching at the door step, slowly looked at Eva’s face and spoke softly.

“He doesn’t like food to be eaten in rooms.” Obviously she was referring to Alphab.

It happened that Alphab needed a successor, a son to continue his legacy and lead his people.

And was unable to get one.

Some blamed the curse, while others blamed Alphab for being unable to father a child…

As she prepared herself to go out, she was still confused, if she’s right Alphab wants a heir, then why did he not intimate with her yesterday?
