75: Did You Pad?
"What's with that look?" After bidding farewell to Xue'er, Leticia and Bai Ling walked onto the street together. Throughout the journey, Bai Ling kept examining Leticia with a very strange gaze, making Leticia feel uncomfortable all over.
That gaze lingered longest on Leticia's chest. Judging from Bai Ling's expression, this girl seemed to be wondering why, in just such a short time, Leticia's bust had actually achieved a breakthrough from zero to one.
"Did you... pad?" Bai Ling asked quietly.
Logically speaking, she shouldn't know about these things, but when chatting with the Guild Leader a few days ago, the Guild Leader had asked this question. Curious, Bai Ling had casually asked, and then she knew.
"Whether I pad or not is none of your damn business. You should think about what to say when we meet the Guild Leader later, Miss Bai with social anxiety." An ordinary girl being asked this kind of question should be furious, but Leticia wasn't an ordinary girl. She didn't care at all about how pitiful her bust size was.
Even being questioned by Bai Ling about padding only made her feel slightly annoyed.
Compared to her own bust, Leticia indicated it would be better to focus on other girls' busts. Hers was hereditary and couldn't be changed.
"Just felt like you were different." Bai Ling's gaze became somewhat evasive. Leticia now gave people the feeling of a very cute little girl, with no trace of the once world-renowned Demon King.
Compared to that shut-in girl who always had a sour face, the current Leticia was simply a little angel.
"Heh, shallow," Miss Demon King snorted coldly. "Just because the chest got a little bigger, you can say such nonsense. I'm quite curious about your reaction when you see those real big-chest monsters."
Bai Ling raised an eyebrow. Was she really such a shallow person in Leticia's eyes?
What chest or no chest—she didn't care about that at all. What she meant by "different" was that Leticia gave people a different feeling, which only had a tiny bit to do with her chest.
"Speaking of which, I think I arranged to meet the Guild Leader in the afternoon." After reaching the bus stop, Leticia suddenly remembered something.
"Mm?" Bai Ling looked up at the sky.
The golden sun was hanging in the eastern sky, pouring its enthusiasm onto the human world.
A beam of light fell on a certain little fool standing there dazed, causing the white-haired girl beside her to giggle.
"Hey, what are you laughing at!" Leticia waved her fists angrily.
"Laughing at a little fool." Bai Ling's eyes curved into crescents, the smile on her face still as tragic as before.
But there was slight improvement—it seemed she hadn't been practicing smiling less in her daily life.
Her laughter was quite pleasant to hear, a stark contrast to her expression. If one ignored that disaster of a little face, Bai Ling's smile should be quite nice.
"Little fool... are you planning to have a decisive battle with me here?" A big black cross popped up on Leticia's forehead. She raised her little fist and punched down at Bai Ling.
The soft punch landed on Bai Ling's shoulder. The white-haired girl didn't feel any force—Leticia hadn't used any strength at all.
"Cough cough, shall we go back then?" Bai Ling coughed a few times and composed her expression.
"Going back now would be too troublesome. How about we just wander around near the meeting place?" Leticia looked at the clothes she was wearing, thought for a while, and finally made her decision.
Once home, she'd want to take off this outfit and return to shut-in mode. Then she'd inevitably have to argue with Xue'er, and even if she took it off, she'd have to put it back on in the afternoon and suffer again. Better not.
"It's only a few hours until lunch time anyway. Should we go watch a movie?" Leticia took out her phone and asked without much sincerity.
Because she didn't wait for Bai Ling's answer at all, and started looking for movies she was interested in on her own.
She didn't care at all whether the girl beside her would like the movie she chose.
Oh wait, Leticia might be even more malicious—she probably hadn't planned to buy Bai Ling a ticket at all.
"Mm, 'Super League 4: The Demon King Appears.' There's been quite a bit of news about this movie online." Leticia quickly found a movie that slightly interested her.
Compared to the other romantic movies, this one flying the banner of heroes directly confronting the Demon King obviously interested Leticia more.
She'd heard that the Demon King in this movie was incredibly sexy—those legs, that figure—making many appearance-focused fans cry out that they wanted to defect to the enemy.
Place order, buy ticket. Leticia yawned, hoping this movie wouldn't be too boring.
"You only bought one ticket." Bai Ling said slowly beside Leticia.
She could see clearly that Leticia had unhesitatingly ignored her, buying only one portion whether it was the movie ticket or the accompanying popcorn and cola.
Obviously, Leticia hadn't thought about treating Bai Ling to a movie.
"You still have the nerve to ask me to treat you?" Leticia rolled her eyes. How could this person say such a thing? Did she, this poor person, have the ability to treat this rich lady whose wealth was unknown to watch a movie?
"Don't you see how much money you have? Aren't you ashamed to say such things?"
"You're very annoying." Bai Ling's expression became somewhat strained. Leticia's words made her, who had a decent temper, somewhat angry.
She had been invited by Leticia, so logically speaking, she should be the guest, right? Where was the logic in making the guest pay for their own movie ticket?
Even if she had to pay, the tickets should be bought together, right?
"If you want to watch, buy your own ticket. If not, find some shady spot to squat." But Leticia wasn't intimidated by Bai Ling's move. She didn't believe Bai Ling would dare to attack her, this poor helpless little girl, on this street in broad daylight.
Unfortunately, Leticia miscalculated this time.
Bai Ling unhesitatingly reached out and pinched the soft flesh at Leticia's waist through the layer of clothing, then Miss Sword Saint's hand slowly applied pressure.
"Ow! You damn pervert, today I'll make you know the Demon King is not to be trifled with!" Leticia quietly exclaimed. Bai Ling's sudden attack really caught her off guard.
Just as she was about to retaliate, Bai Ling knew when to stop and withdrew her hand.
Faced with Bai Ling's two-handed defense, Leticia was helpless. She couldn't break through this defense and could only swallow this grievance, waiting to get revenge later.
"You wait for me."
