In a church, a priestess with long, candy-pink hair and green eyes, wearing a classic white dress, awoke and stretched, trying to fully wake herself from her sleep.
She opened her palm and conjured a pink flame, which she used to light a lantern.
She stepped outside, opened the church door, and exhaled deeply.
Her feet touched the cold floor.
She began walking toward the clothesline and grabbed the clothes, but froze when she heard someone sobbing.
She called out the priestess’s name and used her control over the pink flame in the lantern, extinguishing it and letting the heat evaporate into the air.
She used this to pinpoint the source of the cry by sensing the ambient temperature.
She was a master priestess from the Church of the Forest Goddess.
She searched for the source of the cries, rushing toward the warmth, and stumbled upon an infant wrapped in a white silk blanket.
The infant had Pale skin, light blond hair, and Zeuna noticed his golden eyes when the child started crying again.
Zeuna gently picked him up and said in a soft, compassionate voice.
“Shh, shh, my dear, everything’s alright. Who could have abandoned you?”
She raised her head, trying to see if there were people nearby, but saw no one.
“Monsters dared to abandon this child.”
Zeuna thought, seething with rage, but she didn’t show it on her face so as not to upset the little one.
She gently rocked him, turned around, and entered the church.
She saw her friend Liz and said.
“Liz, this is our new companion.”
Liz said.
“What are you talking about?”
Liz turned around and saw the child, looking perplexed, and said hesitantly.
“Where did you find him?”
Zeuna said.
“People have abandoned him, but for now it doesn’t matter. We must first make sure he’s okay, feed him, change him, and introduce him to the other children.”
Liz approached the child and touched his cheek, saying,
“Also, a name… hmm, let me think. Why not Zhua Rengui? It sounds nice.”
Zeuna looked at the baby, thought for a moment, and said.
“Yes, Zhua Rengui is a good name.”
She turned her head, looking at the immense silver tower, and continued.
“Hoping that fate will be kind to him.”
