Wolf Fortress was busier than ever.
The rescue team had returned safely, and the injured soldiers were receiving treatment. Engineers were repairing damaged vehicles while the training ground remained crowded with recruits.
Destiny stood inside the command center, examining the military recruitment interface.

Destiny leaned back in his chair.
"We need more people."
Isaac stood beside the command table.
"The hospital survivors have been settling in. Several of them have military experience, and others have useful technical skills."
"How many are willing to join?"
"Fourteen have volunteered so far."
Destiny nodded.
"Bring them to the recruitment area. We'll assess everyone before assigning them."

The recruitment area was filled with people.
Some were former security officers, others were mechanics, drivers, engineers, and ordinary survivors who wanted to fight back.
Destiny stood before them.
"Joining the military means accepting responsibility. You will receive food, shelter, training, and protection. In return, you must follow orders, protect civilians, and help defend this base."
A middle-aged man stepped forward.
"Sir, what happens if we aren't strong enough to fight monsters?"
"Not every soldier needs to be a frontline fighter," Destiny replied. "We need engineers, medics, drivers, scouts, and people who can maintain our equipment. Everyone has a role."
The man nodded.
One by one, the volunteers stepped forward.
The system began registering them.

The Defense Squad was assigned soldiers with high Vitality, defensive abilities, and experience protecting positions.
The Reconnaissance Squad received the fastest soldiers and those with useful observation or tracking skills.
"From today onward, these squads will operate as a military company," Destiny announced.

The soldiers were running through obstacle courses, practicing close combat, and learning how to operate their weapons.
Thomas, who had completed his physical enhancement training, was now noticeably stronger.
He lifted a heavy training weight while an instructor watched.
"Good progress, Private Thomas," Destiny said.
Thomas immediately stood at attention.
"Thank you, sir!"
Destiny opened the Soldier Attribute Training interface.

A miniature model of Wolf Fortress stood on the table. A blue field surrounded it.
"The generator can now supply enough energy to power the shield for longer periods. We've also developed a way to distribute the energy between the defensive towers."
Destiny studied the model.
"Can we install it on the fortress?"
"Yes, but we need additional monster cores and electronic components."
The system displayed a notification.

Destiny stared at the numbers.
They were getting closer.
But he knew that reaching the mission's requirements would attract even more dangerous enemies.
He walked to the balcony and looked down at the training ground.
Thirty soldiers stood in formation.
They were no longer just frightened survivors.
They were becoming an organized military force.
Destiny clenched his fist.
"Next time the monsters attack, we'll be ready."
