In the distance, at the entrance of the mine, the simple barricade built by the Kobolds turned into a cloud of debris amidst a loud bang that drowned out the dragon’s roar.

“The boss said we’re taking them alive this time! I’m going first on that queen!”

Accompanied by lewd and arrogant clamoring, fifteen vanguards of the Black Dog Mercenary Group—clad in pitch-black armor and reeking of stench and blood—charged into the dusty cave entrance.

Lustful glints flickered in their eyes as they brandished battle-axes, flails, and scimitars.

Their minds were already filled with fantasies of brutalizing and humiliating the Dark Elves.

They were members of the Black Dog Mercenary Group who had found the Dark Elf Queen’s hiding place through the magic of mages, the tracking of scouts, and various strokes of coincidental luck.

The sounds coming from outside the mine were as clear as a sudden thunderclap to Balthazar’s sensitive draconic senses.

He had just finished.

Feeling refreshed, Balthazar looked down at Chloe, who was slumped on the straw pile, trembling all over from the recent rough union, not yet recovered from the daze of her climax.

Her wheat-colored abdomen showed an unnatural, rounded curve—proof that his offspring was taking root.

“Take care of… Chloe, Olga.”

Balthazar’s raspy voice echoed through the cave.

He extended a giant claw and, with a movement that wasn’t exactly gentle but was full of power, nudged the unconscious knight in front of the still-stunned Dark Elf Queen.

Olga instinctively caught Chloe’s warm, sweat-drenched body.

When her fingertips touched the heat filled with draconic essence, her pupils shrank sharply.

She looked up at Balthazar, her amber eyes shimmering with an extremely complex light.

There was a tremor from this primitive conquest, but also unease regarding the impending battle.

“Don’t die here… Dragon.”

Olga, whose senses were equally sharp, also detected the approaching human footsteps in the distance.

She took a deep breath, forcibly maintaining her dignity as a queen.

“Otherwise, I will curse you to the lowest level of hell.”

Balthazar did not respond.

He turned around, his dark iron-colored body creating a dull wind pressure as he left the room the Kobolds had prepared for him.

In the moment he withdrew, he completed the transition from ‘mate’ to ‘predator.’

Because his size had surged during his slumber, his hard dragon scales scraped against the stone walls of the mine as he passed through the narrow corridor, making a teeth-gritting grinding sound.

Consequently, the members of the Black Dog Mercenary Group stopped in their tracks after only a few steps.

Because what appeared before them was not a trembling queen, nor a tenacious but exhausted female knight.

Instead, it was a hellish scene enough to make their Sanity points plummet and their worldview collapse.

Inside the dim, narrow mine tunnel, a massive, pitch-black magical creature radiating high heat and pressure looked down upon them from above.

Its hideous head, silhouetted in the shadows, nearly touched the ceiling of the tunnel, and white smoke smelling of sulfur billowed from its snout.

It looked exactly like a demon that had leaped out of hell.

“Roar!”

With a dragon roar, Balthazar’s hind leg muscles tensed, and his sharp claws carved deep grooves into the stone floor.

His massive dragon body, like an out-of-control heavy tank, instantly crossed the short distance of a dozen meters, bringing with it a gust of blood-scented wind and heat.

The mercenaries walking fastest and charging at the front had no time to react at all.

“Crunch!”

It was the crisp sound of metal armor being crushed along with human bones.

Balthazar’s bloody maw, filled with fangs, bit down accurately and brutally on a mercenary’s upper body as if crushing a cracker.

Sharp dragon teeth easily pierced the seemingly decent plate armor and embedded themselves deep into the flesh.

“Agh… ugh?!”

The mercenary’s scream lasted only half a second before being cut off.

With a violent jerk of the dragon’s neck, a massive amount of blood exploded from the twisted metal gaps like a fountain, splashing onto the stunned faces of the nearby companions.

That salty, warm red liquid not only instantly stained Balthazar’s jaw but also awakened the long-dormant, primitive bloodlust within him as a dragon.

*Ptu.*

Balthazar spat out the mangled corpse like a walnut shell, sending it flying with a ‘bang’ against the cave wall, where it turned into a blurred mess of meat.

“Don’t… don’t come any closer! Monster! What kind of monster is this?!”

“Formation! Scatter, quickly! Aaaaaagh!”

The Black Dog Mercenary Group’s vanguards finally woke up from their fear, but the narrow tunnel restricted their room to dodge.

Balthazar did not stop.

Using the momentum from throwing the corpse, his thick and powerful dragon tail, covered in hard scales, swept out with the sound of whistling wind.

“Bang! Bang! Crack!”

The dragon tail swept through like a battering ram.

Two mercenaries who tried to block with their shields were sent flying, shield and all.

The sound of their bones shattering rang out in mid-air as they rolled into the dark corners like broken sacks.

The hard dragon scales were left with fragments of armor and strips of flesh.

The blood-stained iron scales reflected the terrified faces of the mercenaries.

“Is this… what you… call hunting?”

Balthazar took heavy steps, each one making the ground tremble slightly.

His vertical pupils coldly watched the trembling thugs before him, with fragments of the unlucky fellow’s organs still hanging from the corners of his mouth. Enjoying the story? Read on at novelping(.)com.

“I have just… given myself… a name…”

“It signifies… a new birth.”

“…And I indeed need some more vivid red sacrifices… to celebrate my new birth.”

Out of the corner of his eye, Balthazar glanced at a new skill that had appeared out of thin air in his main god space character status bar.

“[True Name Liberation]: When declaring your true name, all attributes are slightly increased for a short time and the pressure effect is enhanced.”

Then, Balthazar turned his gaze back to the shivering mercenaries.

“This shall become… a… law.”

“You are fortunate… to be the first… to experience it.”

“Be proud of it…”

He didn’t use dragon breath, nor did he use magic—whether he knew how or not, he didn’t need to.

Relying solely on the overwhelming physical strength of the dragon race, he unleashed a one-sided slaughter in this narrow space.

With the swing of his claws, severed limbs flew; where the dragon’s body collided, flesh and blood scattered.

Shattered organs lay scattered on the stone floor, still steaming.

The thick scent of blood instantly overpowered the original smell of mold and sulfur in the mine.

The mercenaries who had been clamoring to taste the Dark Elf just a moment ago had now turned into several piles of unidentifiable mangled meat.

“Mon… monster… it’s a dragon!!”

Only now did the few surviving mercenaries finally see the true form of the massive magical creature in the darkness.

After realizing the opponent was a dragon, they stumbled backward, the weapons in their hands trembling uncontrollably.

A scarred-face captain standing at the front of the group, whose eyes had been fierce, now had only vacant terror remaining.

He watched helplessly as his most capable subordinates had their ribcages crushed by a single tail swipe.

That sense of ease, as if killing chickens, completely shattered his will to fight.

In their eyes, the dark iron-colored beast lurking in the shadows was simply the manifestation of a nightmare.

Balthazar, however, was in no hurry to pursue.

He lowered his head, and his bloody maw, still hanging with bits of meat, approached a corpse on the ground that had been snapped in two by a dragon claw.

“Crunch— Screeech—”

A teeth-gritting sound of metal grinding rang out.

Under everyone’s horrified gaze, this giant beast actually ignored the armor and bit directly into the steel half-plate worn by the corpse.

Sharp dragon teeth pierced the steel breastplate like cutting through tofu.

As the jaws closed, the hard metal was forcibly twisted and torn, mixing with human flesh and bone, letting out a piercing shriek.

It was eating iron.

*Gulp.*

With a roll of his throat, that entire block of twisted steel plate, along with the blood on it, was swallowed into his stomach.

“Low-quality… metal.”

Mixed with a complaint about the quality of the armor, the sound of chewing metal like chewing gristle under that terrifying bite force became the last straw that broke the mercenaries’ nerves.

“Run… run! This isn’t something we can deal with!”

“A dragon! A high-tier magical creature! Someone go call the mage unit!”

With a heart-wrenching scream, the remaining mercenaries didn’t even bother to pick up their dropped weapons.

Like frightened stray dogs, they scrambled and crawled toward the exit of the mine tunnel.

Those mercenaries, abandoning their equipment and crying for their parents, couldn’t possibly outrun a Ferro-Dragon in a straight tunnel.

*Thump—!*

Heavy footsteps crushed the rock, and the dark iron-colored giant shadow darted through the mine tunnel like black lightning.

Every leap and landing was accompanied by a gust of despair-inducing, blood-scented wind.

“No! Don’t! Aaaaaagh!”

The last archer didn’t even have time to draw his bow before he was pinned against the rock wall by a massive dragon claw, instantly crushed like a fly, blood splattering across the wall in a radial pattern.

A few minutes later, the mine tunnel returned to a deathly silence.

Except for Balthazar’s heavy, bellows-like breathing and the ‘drip-drop’ of blood falling onto the stones, no one was left alive.

And all of this was seen by Chloe, who was in the darkness where the humans could not see.

Chloe had already woken up by this time.

After hearing the sounds of battle, her long-held habit as a knight led her to stand up, ignoring her injuries and her Queen’s dissuasion, to walk out of the room with her weapon.

At this moment, she was in a very sorry state.

Her beige long hair was messily stuck to her cheeks, which were covered in sweat and dust, and her naked body was covered in red marks and scratches.

From her angle, she could only see the silhouette of that massive back.

That tail, covered in dark iron-colored scales, was swishing unconsciously, scraping sparks across the ground with every sweep.

The sound of chewing steel echoed in the empty mine, each crunch feeling like a strike against her heart.

This was the master of the essence within her.

This absolute tyranny and power made Chloe feel a wave of dizziness.

Just now, on that pile of straw, her body had completely betrayed her will.

Before the absolute male power of the dragon race, she was no longer a sword-wielding knight, but a female beast drowning in ultimate pleasure.

As the moans of pleasure echoed through the empty mine, shame and ecstasy intertwined into the most depraved catalyst acting upon this virgin knight’s body.

Now, she subconsciously squeezed her legs together, where the turbid fluids belonging to this giant beast were constantly seeping out—proof of being thoroughly marked. This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.

Against this backdrop of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, as a knight, she should have felt disgust and anger, yet what surged from deep within her body was a more twisted, more fanatical sense of security.

As long as this power exists…

restoration of the kingdom…

might truly no longer be a dream.

The giant beast heard her panting and slowly turned its head.

Those vertical pupils burning with dark red flames locked onto her in the darkness that neither humans nor Kobolds could see through.

At this gaze, Chloe trembled all over.

Physical instinct made her hurriedly lower her head, ignoring the pain of her knees being scraped by gravel.

She wanted to press her forehead firmly against the dust-covered ground, showing the most humble posture of submission to this tyrant who had just finished his ‘feast of flesh and steel’.

But as soon as her knees bent, Chloe stopped her movements—she was Olga’s personal knight.

She could not, and must not, pledge loyalty to anyone else, even a giant dragon…

[I am the Queen’s knight, the Queen’s, the Queen’s…]

As Chloe thought this, she squeezed her legs together, the dragon’s essence writhing inside her.

Balthazar, however, did not care about Chloe’s internal conflict; he was simply inspecting his achievements.

With elegant yet cruel steps, he slowly walked back from the depths of the mine.

Along the way were mutilated corpses: those cut in half, those crushed flat, those with heads removed…

starting from the scarred-face captain he had crashed into and trampled to death, plus the minions he had hunted down afterward.

One, two, three…

fourteen.

A total of fourteen vanguard members of the Black Dog Mercenary Group, with no survivors.

Balthazar shook the thick plasma off his claws, his dark red vertical pupils coldly scanning the carnage of this Shura field, and a puff of hot white smoke snorted from his nostrils.

He was quite satisfied with the number of sacrifices for his first birthday.

“A very good… birthday meal.”

“I like it… very much.”
