Arthur was instantly curious about why Suzy was asking for his help. He wasn’t particularly strong at the moment — still level 1 — but he had a good weapon, and now decent skills, so at least he was better than all the other level 1 players.
"What do you need?" he asked through the friends tab.
"We found a boss, a level 5 boss. No one has killed a boss yet, so we want to try. Are you down for it?"
A boss! That was something Arthur wanted to kill, that’s for sure. There was a bonus for killing the first boss, so if they managed to do it, the rewards would be theirs!
There was a specific bonus for those killing the first boss solo, duo, trio, and quartet. Suzy was with The Tower and Point Blank so that they would get the four-person group bonus reward.
Also, not to mention the good drops and EXP from the boss.
However, could Arthur truly help them?
"Where are you?" Arthur asked.
"Come here where we met."
They stopped exchanging messages. Arthur then chose his two other skills before going to meet them.
He could get skills that were unlocked by the Rogue class at level 20, so, of course, he would get the best skills possible. No reason to get the early level skills, as they had less damage.
Arthur already had an idea of what to get, and he wasn’t going to waste time second-guessing it. The Rogue, at level 20, unlocked a skill called Assassination. It was a powerful one-hit skill that required the player to be in Stealth mode to use.
It was the opener skill for all Rogues. First, use the Stealth to get close to the target without them noticing you, then use Assassination to deal massive damage with one clean hit.
He already picked up the Stealth, so picking that up too was the best decision.
Now, both skills had a longer cooldown, so Arthur needed something that he could use more often. It would be essential for his leveling.
The skill he chose was called Deep Cut, and it was one of the most annoying skills from the Rogue class.
Basically, a clean hit in one of the enemy’s vital points, which then added a bleed stack, stacking up to five times.
So, not only would it deal impact damage, but it would also deal damage over time. This skill was really good, and one of the main ones Rogues used during combat.
’Using this against the boss will be quite effective too.’

An impressive skill that dealt a lot of damage, having a similar cooldown to Stealth, as both had to be used together.
The next skill Arthur got from the Rogue class was the Deep Cut. This one dealt way less damage than the Assassination, but it had a faster cooldown, and the bleeding effect.

With these three skills at his disposal, Arthur was much stronger than the average player. Not only because these skills were of a higher level, but because of his item!
His Iron Sword had way more damage than all the weapons the players had at the moment, so all of his skills dealt way more damage too.
Also, most Rogues used daggers, as it was their only weapon, but Arthur could use anything. What if he turned into a rogue with a two-handed sword to deal massive damage? It could work.
’The builds I can make are fucking endless,’ he thought, not able to contain his laugh.
Arthur walked over to where Suzy and the others were, near that house he saw close to the road.
They were sitting there, waiting for him. It didn’t take him long to get there.
"Hey," he said from far away, waving at them, "what did you find?"
The Tower was the first to speak with him. The man still seemed to dislike him, though Arthur couldn’t tell exactly why.
"Can you tell me what you did with Shadow Cloak? She’s already leveled up one more time, almost reaching the first rank. How is that possible?"
"So you knew she was a woman all this time?" Arthur asked him, frowning.
Suzy intervened.
"She didn’t want us to share that with others. That’s why she picked up a name that didn’t indicate she was a woman."
Arthur had no idea why she was doing that, or if she was the same Shadow Cloak he heard about in his past life. Either way, it didn’t matter.
"Where’s this boss you found?" Arthur said, crossing his arms.
Tower once again looked quite annoyed by it.
"Why did Suzy even call you? You’re level 1, how can you help us with anything?"
"I believe I’m more useful than you," Arthur said.
The Tower instantly got up and walked over toward him, both men were pushing each other, almost starting a brawl right there.
Suzy and Point Blank glanced at each other, shaking their heads.
"Relax guys. Stop it, please? You two look like kids."
Neither of them wanted to back down, both too stubborn to be the first to flinch. Still, Arthur decided to do so. He wanted to kill that boss, and he needed Tower to tank it for him.
The Tower backed too as soon as Arthur did.
"Let’s move before someone finds that boss," Tower said as he walked away, not waiting for the rest of the group.
Arthur, Suzy and Point Blank followed him.
