To Mad Dog and his men, Jiang Chen’s words and questions were nothing but a joke.
This was Mad Dog’s turf.
Nearly twenty of his most loyal and capable fighters were stationed here, while Jiang Chen was entirely alone.
Even if he had just taken care of Zhang Bazi and a few others, spouting such arrogant nonsense in this situation was practically a death wish.
“Boy, do you really think you’re invincible just because you dealt with Zhang Bazi and his crew?” Mad Dog laughed before Jiang Chen could even retort to one of the burly men.
“That’s right!
I suggest you get on your knees and apologize to Lord Dog right now!”
“He ruined Lord Dog’s business!
Kneeling isn’t enough.
He needs to lick Lord Dog’s shoes and crawl between our legs before we even consider forgiving his arrogant ignorance!”
“Hahaha!”
The group erupted into a chorus of unbridled, mocking laughter.
Jiang Chen took a deep drag of his cigarette and blew a thick plume of smoke directly into Mad Dog’s face.
“What?” he mocked with a playful smirk.
“Did you just raise a pack of barking dogs?”
“You really don’t know your place,” Mad Dog scoffed coldly.
“Today, I’ll teach you some manners!” With a sharp wave of his hand, he barked, “Brothers, get him!”
At his command, the men raised their weapons and charged at Jiang Chen.
But in a split second, Jiang Chen moved.
He vanished from his chair like a phantom, reappearing right beside Mad Dog in the blink of an eye.
His right hand clamped down onto Mad Dog’s head, slamming it brutally onto the table.
CRASH!
Mad Dog’s face smashed heavily into the plate of beef, shattering the porcelain into pieces.
At the exact same time, Jiang Chen’s left hand pinned Mad Dog’s wrist onto the table, and he firmly stepped onto it with one foot.
Snatching the glowing red cigarette from his lips, he jammed it straight into Mad Dog’s hand.
HISS!
“Ahhh!”
An agonizing howl echoed through the entire billiard hall.
The sickening scent of seared flesh wafted through the air, causing everyone to grimace.
The burly men who had been about to strike froze in place as if turned to stone.
He was too fast.
They hadn’t even had time to guard against Jiang Chen’s attack on Mad Dog.
More importantly, they never expected Jiang Chen to be so utterly ruthless.
“B-boy…
let me go!” Mad Dog mumbled, his face twitching in pain as sweat poured down his forehead.
Jiang Chen smiled mockingly.
“I’m here to crash the party today.
Since you call yourself Mad Dog, I’ll just have to pull out your fangs and see how you bite people after this!”
As he spoke, he drove a fist straight into Mad Dog’s face.
THWACK!
Pinned by the head and unable to dodge, Mad Dog took the blow directly.
The surrounding men grew anxious but didn’t dare to make a move.
“F-fuck…
you mother…” Mad Dog cursed, his words slurred and garbled by the blood filling his mouth.
“Brothers…
get…
him…”
Although his speech was barely coherent, his intent was clear: he was ordering his men to attack.
The burly men exchanged glances, still hesitating.
Jiang Chen smiled faintly.
He picked up a nearby dagger and rested its cold edge against Mad Dog’s cheek.
“I have severe OCD, you see.
That scar of yours only covers half of your face.
I really want to give you another one to even it out.”
As he spoke, the blade sliced through Mad Dog’s skin.
Blood trickled down his cheek, making his already sinister face look even more horrifying.
Watching this scene unfold, a chilling numbness crept over the men’s scalps.
Jiang Chen looked so polite and frail, yet he was merciless when he struck.
His strategy to capture the leader first had thrown them entirely off guard, leaving them incredibly passive.
Sprawled on the table, Mad Dog hollered, “Stop!
If you’ve got the guts, let me go and fight fair!”
Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow.
“Even if I let you go, what can you do?”
He lifted his foot off Mad Dog’s hand, but the moment he released his grip on Mad Dog’s head, he drove the dagger straight through the back of Mad Dog’s hand, pinning it firmly to the table.
Taking two steps back, Jiang Chen beckoned to the burly men.
“Come on.
Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance!”
Two of the men rushed over to help Mad Dog up, but they didn’t dare to touch his impaled hand.
Grimacing in agony, Mad Dog roared, “Beat him!
Beat him to death!”
Now that Jiang Chen had lost his leverage, the men no longer needed to hold back.
They raised their billiard cues and charged at him with murderous intent.
Watching them approach, Jiang Chen unhurriedly pulled out his phone and opened the stopwatch app.
Right before the mob reached him, he tossed the phone onto the table.
“Keep an eye on this for me, and hit pause when it’s over!”
As soon as the words left his mouth, the men were upon him.
Taking a running start, Jiang Chen stepped onto a nearby chair and vaulted onto the table.
With a flying kick, he sent the two leading men flying backward.
The moment their falling bodies blocked the others, Jiang Chen snatched a cue stick from one of them and swung it in a wide arc.
WHACK! You are reading on g.com, the official source.
WHACK!
WHACK!
He knocked down three more men in quick succession before landing smoothly in the middle of the crowd.
With just one kick and one swing of a cue stick, he had already taken down five men.
His crisp, effortless movements struck fear into the remaining fighters, causing them to circle him hesitantly, not daring to strike.
Jiang Chen smiled faintly.
“Hurry up.
I’m in a rush here!”
“What the hell are you afraid of?!
There are so many of us!
Are we really going to lose to one guy?!” yelled Zhang Bazi, who was supporting Mad Dog.
The men exchanged determined looks, gritted their teeth, and charged again.
A sharp glint flashed through Jiang Chen’s eyes.
He snapped the billiard cue in his hands into two halves.
Wielding them like twin short swords, he wove through the burly men.
Almost every time he raised his hands, someone fell.
One strike, one man down.
He swept from one end of the room to the other, then turned back again.
By the time he was done, nearly twenty burly men were writhing on the floor, some clutching their heads, others clutching their stomachs, all groaning in pain.
Jiang Chen himself was completely unscathed.
Somewhere along the line, a lit cigarette had even appeared between his lips.
CLATTER!
He casually tossed the broken cue sticks onto the floor, walked back to the table, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
Staring straight at Mad Dog, he smiled playfully.
“How was my Dog Beating Stick Technique?”
Mad Dog’s lips twitched violently.
He subconsciously glanced at the stopwatch on the phone.
Ninety-six seconds!
Just over a minute and a half!
His twenty-odd subordinates hadn’t even lasted two minutes against Jiang Chen before they were all beaten to the ground.
Just what kind of monster was this guy?
His lips moved as he stammered, “Jiang—”
“Call me Master!” Jiang Chen interrupted with a laugh.
“Young Master Jiang.”
“How was my Dog Beating Stick Technique?” Jiang Chen repeated.
“Good,” Mad Dog replied, his face stiff with sheer embarrassment.
“It was really good!”
“Then clap!” Jiang Chen laughed mockingly.
