EMPRESS SWORD MANUAL

THE PERFECT VILLAIN

I was far gone, dreaming of my dear future self when I escaped.

I forced myself to sleep after the exhaustion of the thirteen stances.

I needed enough rest to be ready for my daily quota of work.

Then the annoying bell rang and woke me from my wonderful dream my paradise.

Oh my gosh. Already? It's day already? Damn.

I was super fucked.

I felt like ten percent of my battery was still left. Maybe less.

My legs started moving on their own, dragging my tired body running on that ten percent.

Grey pasta came as it always did, and I ate like a maniac to get that unpleasant chore out of the way.

Only I could tell something was different that day.

The air felt different. Some big changes were close to happening.

The air felt heavy as metal.

The relaxed guards were pacing around like crazy.

They kept a close watch on the big gate, as if expecting an invasion.

I just watched, upset minded, until even the quiet slaves started talking.

"Did you hear the news?"

"No. What news are you talking about?"

"Thirteen races. New slaves.

All at Pulse Awakener Level 1 to 3. We're all fucked. Since no one's a cultivator among us."

"Where are they from?"

"Does it matter? They're more game sport for these sickos."

I continued listening while hammering.

It was midday.

Everything went on as usual.

The guards had relaxed. The sun still never reached us.

Then the big door started to open by five new Meridian guards, each at Level 10.

The guards got serious instantly. I stopped mid swing and looked in their direction.

They were all in chains. Still having hatred and fire in them, but they knew they could be soloed by five new Meridian guards.

Thirteen types of races came pouring in.

Beast Kin: They had claws for fingers, yellow eyes, and were covered in fur.

The leader walked around with chains on his legs as if he owned the place despite being a prisoner.

There were about five thousand of his kind with him in chains.

Scale People: Reptilian eyes that blinked sideways.

Green scales all over hands and faces.

Venomous tongues tasting the air. Ten thousand of them alone.

Stone Race: Faces like rocks special mountain rocks.

Eyes that hardly blinked. Five thousand of them.

Shadow Walkers: They were hard to look at with naked eyes.

They blurred as if glitching.

Their bodies wanted to disappear, but the chains had a special effect to combust them if need be.

Eight thousand of them.

Flame Born: They breathed and exhaled fire. All guards ignored and avoided them. Five thousand of them.

Frost Race: Complete ice. Everywhere they stepped got cold, showing frost all over the place.

Iron Bodies: Made completely of metal one hundred percent low-grade metals and iron.

Crystal Beings: Bodies of crystal. When they attacked in threes or fours, their power multiplied by each other's strength.

Insect Race: With a queen who bred hundreds of thousands.

Low-Tier Angels: With broken wings.

Low Tier Demons

Goblins

Titans

We humans were practically fucked with those abominations.

They were all in Pulse Awakening, and aside from Makena, none of the human slaves were at Pulse Awakening.

Most of us would become food for them. Earlier than expected.

The guards were way too happy. More game. More fun. More sport.

They wasted no time putting them all to work.

I wasn't lucky. I had the head of the Beast Kin right next to me.

"Hey, human."

I ignored his ugly ass.

"Stupid human. I'm talking to you."

I stopped. I couldn't take the disrespect anymore.

He held onto my shoulders with his claws a show of force and dominance.

"I said..."

I cut him off before he could finish.

"What the fuck can I do for you, huh?"

He smiled maniacally.

"I've got a keen sense. And you smell of a few thousand deaths."

"So? What the fuck are you talking about, goat?"

"I find you interesting.

We would've been brothers if you were a beast." He leaned closer. "I enjoy killing you when I get the chance.

From one killer to another."

I added his ugly ass face to my mental list. To take care of later.

The humans gave the new slaves way for the fear of their lives.

And I, the ghost, slipped right back to my cell. I'd had enough exposure from the Beast leader.

An old man also a slave, super weak couldn't get away fast enough.

He got slapped by the Beast Kin's right hand.

The guards acted like nothing happened.

They had some games planned for their entertainment.

The Beast Kin leader held onto his neck so tightly that the old man combusted.

His followers launched into his body parts like crazy cannibals.

"I love it," the Beast leader said, "especially with all that fear and adrenaline. Yummy."

Everyone else watched and ignored it.

No one wanted to fuck with them or have an altercation.

So everyone watched and acted like nothing had happened.

My blood boiled.

I knew I had to get revenge. Kill that pig before the overseers' sick games began.

I looked at the scared human slaves and realized I was their only weapon.

I'd kill and wipe them off completely, like they never existed.

Even if I triggered a crazy manhunt, I was ready.

I had to rest. Play every possible scenario in my head.

Perfect crime.

Perfect justice.
