The only individual involved in the oil and gas business.

Everyone wanted to be on his good side, and my father wasn’t an exception.

Many times, he’d complain about how he wished he had a son as capable as Sébastien instead.

That kind of legendary figure.

Why had no one ever told me he was so handsome?

If only my father had mentioned it, even once…

I’d never have hated hearing that name so much as I did.

Heck, I’d have gone after him to at least get him in my bed once!

I rubbed my forehead, feeling a headache creeping up.

Fortunately, it wasn’t too late.

All I had to do was slowly get to know him and lure him to my bed once…

or twice.

A faint smile formed on my face.

RING

Startled, I almost dropped my phone.

It was a group call from my friends.

“What’s it?” I asked through gritted teeth.

“Hey, Elian, when are you coming?”

“Coming?”

I looked out the window, belatedly remembering that it was dark.

My mood peaked.

“Wait for me.

I’ll be on my way.”

I grabbed my car key and rushed out of the restaurant.

Men could be chased, but nightlife couldn’t be forgotten.

I drove my car out of the parking lot, throwing Sébastien’s matter to the back of my mind as I thought about my moves at the bar tonight.

Sébastien couldn’t be a long-term deal.

He wouldn’t even agree to stay for a few months.

The best deal with him would be to get him once.

So, I still needed backups.

My boyfriend spot mustn’t stay empty for long.

But before then, I needed to clear my phone of the pictures I took with the last one.

While vibing to the low music in the car, I carefully deleted the couple of videos and pictures on my phone, freeing up my space for the next one.

Seeing the clear screen, the smile on my face deepened.

It felt so good to be single and searching again.

“Hey, Elian.

You’re here.”

“What should I mix for you?”

The connoisseur waved with a familiar smile.

“The usual.” I pushed my car key forward.

“For the whole night.”

Standing at the counter, I glanced around the room, searching for any fine alpha that could fill the empty void again.

My eyes darted around the room.

The tall ones.

The average heights.

The older and younger.

All quality.

Standard and good enough.

I clicked my tongue.

Too bad, none of them matched my taste.

“Here.”

“Thanks.” I picked up the cup of wine and strode toward my friends.

I might have to wait a little longer.

The better ones would certainly show up later.

“Why won’t you believe me?

I said he asked me out first.”

“Why do I think you’re lying?

He’s so beautiful.

Such a high-class omega, what would he see in you?”

“What do you mean?

I’m so handsome and rich.

A powerful alpha to boot.

What do you mean?”

“Hey, I’m certainly not seeing that fact.”

I listened to the arguments between my friends and chuckled lightly.

Dropping my wine, I pulled a seat and sat down.

“Show me the picture.” I reached out to take the phone.

Lucien flinched.

“I think you shouldn’t.” He kept his phone away.

My expression darkened.

“What?

Do you think I’d be interested in omegas?”

Our friends snickered.

My anger grew.

Lucien laughed wryly.

“He might fall for you instead.”

I sneered.

“Through the phone?”

“Your charm is that great, you know?”

Fully satisfied, I sat upright and sipped my drink leisurely.

The mood returned.

The night continued.

Yet, no alpha suited my taste.

It was strange.

Watching as my friends hooked up with handsome alphas, my brows twitched.

Why did they all look so average today?

None of them seemed as good as the alphas I’d been taking for a while…

I sighed wearily, feeling exhausted from looking around for so long.

“Hey, Elian, wanna drink with me?”

A familiar Alpha, Noah, walked over, smiling as he clicked his cup with mine.

I downed the drink and stood up.

“I’d rather return home instead.”

Noah frowned.

“It’s only one.”

“Yeah.

I’m exhausted.”

“Exhausted?”

“Yeah.

Heartbreak.”

Noah chuckled.

“Alright.

I’ll drop you home.

You look a bit drunk.”

Reluctant to refuse, I took my phone and left the bar with him.

My friends had all left anyway.

All gone with their omegas and alphas.

Noah drove me out of the bar area.

“Hey, Elian.

I heard you break up with the last guy.”

“I did.”

“So, what’s your next plan?”

“To sleep with an older alpha.”

I heard Noah laugh.

Disinterested, I rested my head and closed my eyes, ready for a quick nap.

“I’m older.”

“Not enough.”

“Heartless.”

“I know.”

Silence.

“We’re here.”

I got out of the car and waved at him.

“Thanks.

Remember to bring back my car from the bar in the morning.”

Noah clicked his tongue.

“And how will you repay me?”

“With my fist.” I rolled my eyes at him and walked in.

Fortunately, it was midnight, and my parents were long asleep.

I carefully closed the door.

Looking around, I breathed in relief, seeing that even the butler wasn’t around.

Well, no one would expect me to return this early, though.

I kept my phone and walked toward my room.

“Elian!”

I stiffened.

“You’ve gone to ruin my name again, haven’t you?”

My father’s voice.

Unmistakable.

Even at the dead of the night, his voice was enough to scare away the birds.

I turned around to look at him.

“No, I went to ruin mine.”

His expression changed.

I opened the door to my room and entered, closing the door behind me.

Throwing my phone to the bed, I walked into the bathroom for a quick bath.

My dad?

Of course, he would go back to bed after he was done fuming.

I wiped my hair with the towel.

The soft gel hair wash wafted into my nose, reminding me of Sébastien.

I sighed wearily.

Expensive.

He was really expensive.

A knock on the door.

“Come with me to a banquet on Sunday night, okay?” My dad’s voice came through the door.

My mood soured.

“Alright.” It wasn’t like he would find me anyway.

After drying my body, I hit the bed, and with the pillow covering my head, I drifted off to sleep.

“Fuck, so tight.” Raw.

Deep.

Dark.

That familiar voice.

My body trembled.

The sheet crumbled under my hold.

Sweat dripped down my chin, hitting the crumbled sheet.

A pleased groan escaped my throat.

“Like it?”

His breath hit my ears.

Then, the familiar scent.

Aged whiskey.

Smooth.

Almost intoxicating.

The sound of bodies hitting against each other.

My body jerked violently.

“I’d like it even more if you could moan louder.” He whispered into my ear.

I bit my lower lip, pushing my waist backward to meet his heavy thrust.

“Ugh.

Mm.”

Loud moans escaped.

Unrestrained.

Wild.

Yet filled with unprecedented pleasure and passion.

Tears shimmered in my eyes.

His hold around my waist tightened.

Full.

Fuller than I’d ever taken before.

It made me want to go crazy.

“Good boy.”

I suddenly felt myself tighten.

He let out a guttural sound and cursed lowly.

The slam got louder and faster.

Then, he flipped me over.

Those same cold grey eyes.

Now filled with passion and lust.

They took me in, boring into my body like a hypnotizing curse, ready to corrode every part of me.

He leaned forward.

His thin lips captured mine in a dangerous and fierce kiss while he moved even faster.

My fingers clawed at his chest.

My marks.

His marks.

Our bodies bonded like never before.

Then, something opened within me, capturing him and pulling him inwardly.

My eyes widened.

“No…

I don’t.

I don’t want…” Breathless, satisfied, I couldn’t let out the word I intended to say.

He laughed.

“Just this once.”

“Alright.

Once…” damn it!

My eyes snapped open.

Sweat clung to my brows.

My unfocused gaze glanced around the room in shock.

The crumbled bedsheets.

The pillows on the ground.

My stained underwear.

My heavy breathing.

It all fell so real, so good, so unbelievable.

The satisfying feeling seemed to have escaped to reality, the dream feeling like an extension of a past I couldn’t remember.

Oh, how I wished it really was.

But that dream…

Damn it!

I glanced at my underwear again and cursed under my breath.

After a quick bath, I returned to the roughly made bed and picked up my phone.

I searched for Sébastien Hawthorne online.

Those fingers.

Those lips.

The eyes.

That tiny scar…

Unfortunately, there was not much news about him online.

My body felt hot from within.

I’d never needed an alpha as much as I needed one tonight.

One older.

Grey-eyed.

Scarred.

The one named Sébastien Hawthorne.

I groaned in displeasure.

It seemed I would have to find Sébastien.

Just once.

It wouldn’t be more than once.
