Sébastien hesitated.

I could see the hesitation in his eyes.

He glanced at his watch and then at my face.Full novel: The Playboy Omega Got Married! [BL] — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Where is that?”

My lips curled slightly.

“Why don’t I tell you that tomorrow?”

His brows creased.

“Don’t worry.

It’s not an illegal place.”

My tiny world would never be filled with crime.

Sébastien’s brows creased.

“Alright.”

My eyes lit up.

Finally.

This had to be the hardest target in my life.

Fortunately, it still worked out in the end.

My fingers twitched.

Brag.

I really wanted to brag to my friends.

But I held it in.

Sébastien hadn’t stepped into the room yet.

There was still time to make that happen and brag about the catch later.

“I’ll call you when the time comes.”

Pause.

I stepped closer to him.

“You can’t turn me down.”

Sébastien’s gaze settled on me.

“I won’t.”

My smile deepened.

That felt so good.

Wait, was he this attentive to everyone?

He looked like whoever he talked to was the center of his world for that duration.

If that was the case…

how many omegas must have been pulled into the delusion that they mattered?

I covered my mouth, hiding a chuckle.

Sébastien seemed to forget how great his charms were.

But that was good, too.

That was the reason he caught my attention in the first place.

“Elian.”

My dad’s voice rang in my ears.

Looking around, I saw him walking over with the omega beside him.

His eyes brightened when he saw me, though he tried to cover it well.

Old fox.

“What’s it?” The omega looked quite beautiful up close.

My father gently took her hand and pulled her close.

His eyes were wary…

My lips twitched.

I stepped closer to Sébastien and raised a brow.

His expression eased, and he laughed wryly.

“It seems you and Mr Sébastien are discussing.”

He wasn’t asking a question.

He definitely wanted us to have a discussion.

“Right.

Mr Sébastien is so fun to talk to.” I raised my eyes at Sébastien, who replied with a subtle smile.

“Mr Sterling.” He greeted.

My father returned the greeting.

“Mr Sébastien, my son might look a bit unserious, but he’s really smart.

Don’t mind the rumors, okay?”

Wait, had others been talking about me in the banquet again?

Or was my father talking about the ones outside?

Right.

What was with his words?

Why did it feel like he found a son-in-law he didn’t want to lose and decided to advertise how good his son was instead?

“He only likes to play a little.

He’s really disciplined and moral.”

Wow.

I never knew my dad could lie so well.

No wonder he was a successful businessman.

“Dad.”

I called through gritted teeth.

My dad glanced at me and looked away.

“Okay, Mr Sébastien.” He wasn’t backing down.

Too bad I couldn’t pay him back in public.

I would have loved to air his pants, too!

“Mr Elian is really good.”

Damn.

Did I hear that wrong?

Wasn’t that praise from my bedmate?

Um, no, Sébastien?

The gloom in my eyes lessened.

My father laughed happily.

“Alright then.

I’ll leave you to it.” He said and turned around to leave.

I watched his broad back disappear amidst the crowds.

When I snapped out of my daze, my dad had stepped out of the hall.

Having a bad feeling, I nodded at Sébastien.

“I might have to leave now.

Remember to answer my call tomorrow.”

“Hm.”

I kept my phone and quickly rushed after my dad.

Sébastien was pretty much in the bag.

The banquet couldn’t be more boring than it was anymore.

It was time to retire to my nightlife.

Stepping out of the hall, I made sure to avoid the young heirs—especially the alphas who might want to strike up conversations with me.

Fortunately, I succeeded.

Unfortunately, it seemed something had gone wrong.

The designated parking lot I remembered seemed to be wrong.

My dad’s car…

it was gone.

How could it be?

I brought out my phone and dialed his line.

“Dad, I think your car has been stolen.” My voice was grave.

Silence.

My fingers curled into a fist.

I had to hold back a curse.

“It’s really been stolen, Dad,” I said through gritted teeth.

“There’s nothing in the parking lot.”

Silence again.

“If you don’t talk, I’ll burn your study when I get home tonight.”

“Son, Dad already left.

Mr Sébastien seems to have a lot to say to you…”

I couldn’t hear the rest of the words he had to say.

My face crumbled, and my anger grew.

How could he leave his son behind just like that?

Did he forget that I was an omega?

A weak and pitiful omega left alone in a banquet.

What if some alpha kidnapped me away instead?

My fingers trailed around my small and flawless face.

“How do you expect me to protect myself in this place?”

“Let Sébastien protect you.”

“Dad!

I’m an omega.”

“I know.

I’m a little worried, too.

Sébastien is so innocent, you know?”

My face stilled.

I clenched my hand around the phone and ended the call.

That definitely wasn’t my dad.

The night breeze hit my face, and I shivered slightly.

The sky had long darkened.

Even without checking the time, I could tell it was past 10 in the evening.

I had been abandoned by my father, left with two options.

Bar or hook up with Sébastien.

Hooking up with Sébastien tonight seemed impossible…

I turned around and returned to the banquet hall.

“I thought you left.”

Sébastien was still in the same place.

A cup of water in hand and an omega standing before him.

“I was abandoned,” I replied solemnly.

“When is Mr Sébastien leaving?”

“A ride?”

“I’d appreciate that.” Smart.

He got the hint.

Sébastien put down the cup of water.

“Goodbye, Miss Viviane.

Let’s discuss business some other time.”

The omega replied with a smile.

Sébastien and I left the hall.

“Your address?”

I entered it into the GPS and returned to my phone.

My lips twitched at the bunch of pictures sent by my friends about the bar.

I glanced at Sébastien’s side profile.

My fingers twitched at the impulse to take a picture.

I held back.

He wasn’t even mine yet.

Bragging could wait.

Forcing down my displeasure, I closed my eyes and decided to rest.

The drive home was quiet.

It seemed Sébastien wasn’t the type to start a conversation.

That was okay, too.

I wasn’t in the mood to speak any longer.

Perhaps it was due to the small victory.

I no longer felt the urge to hasten things up.

We had planned to meet tomorrow anyway.

Forcing things too much was just as bad as forcing it too little.

Sébastien could be slowly gotten.

“This is my home.” I stepped out of his car.

“Thank you.

See you tomorrow.”

Sébastien nodded.

“Thanks for today.”

I flashed him a smile.

His car slowly disappeared into the distance.

I walked in.

No one.

Even my father seemed to have a richer nightlife than me tonight.

It felt like I’d been set up by the world or something.

The feeling was so terrible.

The only good thing was…

the new contact playing lazily on my phone.

A smile returned to my face.

It was past 11.

Maybe I should go to bed and forget about everything for tonight?

Tomorrow would be a good day.

The night went without a hitch.

Not even a dream.

It was disappointing, if I could say so.

But it was alright.

The night was only a few hours away.

I spent the morning sorting out the matter of the new car.

Knowing that I would get my newly imported car in two weeks, my mood couldn’t be better.

Sébastien didn’t need to be impressed.

But what about those little alphas?

The colorful nights ahead seemed even more beautiful than ever before.

After sending a text to my father that I wouldn’t return home for the night, I hit the road and sped to the bar.

“Mr Sébastien, can you meet me now?”

“Where?”

“I’ll send you the location.”

I leisurely tapped in the address and sent it to him.

“A bar?”

“My world…” I paused.

“You can’t go back on your word, Mr Sébastien.”

Silence.

“I’ll be there in thirty.”

“I’ll wait for you.” An evil smile curved my lips.

Silently cheering, I ended the call and threw my phone aside.

“A new catch?” Lucien asked, throwing his arm around my shoulder.

I slapped away the arm.

“A big catch.”

He smacked his lips.

“Lucky thing.”

“Omega.”

His lips twitched.

Not long after, a figure appeared at the entrance.

Tall.

Powerful.

Different.

His presence commanded attention, earning him glances from the ones in the bar.

He was indeed the alpha I’d chosen…

tonight.

My fingers instinctively curled around my phone.

“He’s here.”

“Where?

Who is he?”

I ignored the question and stood up.

Sébastien stood at the entrance, looking around, seemingly searching for me.

The smile on my lips reeked of confidence.

Reaching out, I picked up a cup of mixed wine from the counter and swiftly approached before he could be snatched.

“Mr.

Sébastien.”

Sébastien’s eyes settled on me.

His eyes flicked over me.

Oh, right.

I had changed out of the suits.

I must look really good now, right?

I chuckled lightly.

“Mr Sébastien, would you like to be introduced to this place…

or would you rather get down to business?”

Sébastien stared at me.

He didn’t say a word.

I sipped the wine.

Sébastien wasn’t a kid.

From the moment he agreed to meet up, he must have known exactly what I wanted.

“No attachment, Mr Sébastien.

You know the game, don’t you?”

His expression finally eased.

“Mr Elian, this had been your plan from the beginning, right?”

“Of course, it was.” My fingers curled around his tie, pulling him down a little.

My lips brushed against his chin.

“I told Mr Sébastien already.

I’m a lover of fun.”

Releasing him, I stepped back.

“Take my word for it.

I don’t do commitment.

I won’t return to bother you.”

“So, Mr Sébastien, are you in…

or not?”
