The transition back to the lower trenches of Sector 7 was a jarring decent into filth. Ren walked through the maze of corrugated tin shacks, her form perfectly hidden behind the shimmering veil of her Fox-Tail Illusion. To the desperate laborers and armed gang members loitering in the alleys, she looked exactly like the scrawny, sixteen-year-old scrap-boy they had always ignored. They couldn't see the pristine white-and-crimson combat vestments, the flawless porcelain skin, or the long silver hair and fox ears beneath the glamour.

But inside her mind, a new system notification pulsed with a sharp, heavy crimson glow.

[Passive Ability Unlocked: Divine Judgment (Militant Law).]

[Description: As a Fox-Tail Blade Maiden, you are a sovereign executioner of corruption. If an intelligent being initiates a hostile, unprovoked attack against you, your blade, Asuka, unlocks the power to sever their spiritual connection to the Monolith. You can permanently destroy another person's Class.]

[Restriction: Absolute Defensive Condition. You cannot act as the aggressor. The target must demonstrate explicit hostile intent or strike the first blow for the execution protocol to unlock.]

Ren’s breath hitched. *Destroy a class permanently?* In this post-apocalyptic world, losing your class was a fate worse than death. It meant becoming a sub-human pariah, stripped of all stats, skills, and societal rights. It was a terrifying tool for self-protection, but the restriction was ironclad. She had to be provoked first.

She turned the corner into the rusted alley leading to her makeshift shack, intending to slip inside and sort through her newly unlocked inventory. But as she neared the doorway, her twitching, hidden fox ears picked up the sound of coarse laughter and tearing metal coming from inside.

The flimsy iron door of her shack had been kicked off its hinges.

Three figures stepped out into the mud, tossing Ren's meager possessions—a broken radio, salvaged copper wires, and a worn mattress—into the filth. At the head of the group was Garrow, the hulking teenager who had mocked her at the Awakening ceremony earlier that afternoon. Flanking him were two low-tier thugs from the Cinder-Fang gang, both carrying iron clubs.

"Look who finally crawled back from the vents," Garrow sneered, crossing his massive arms. His skin shimmered with that dull, metallic Vanguard aura. "The glitched F-rank Priestess boy. We were just cleaning out your shack, scrap-rat. The Militia gave your venting shift to someone useful. Since you can't produce anything for the settlement with a garbage support class, this shack belongs to the gang now. Pack your trash and get to the lower trenches."

Ren took a slow, deep breath, her hidden crimson eyes narrowing beneath the illusion. She didn't want trouble, but she wouldn't crawl in the mud anymore. "The overseer assigned me to the eastern vents, Garrow. This shack is registered under my name. Leave."

The two thugs laughed, stepping forward and tapping their iron clubs against their palms. "The scrap-rat thinks he can talk back because the Monolith gave him a fancy name. You're a support F-rank, boy. You're nothing."

Garrow’s eyes flashed with malicious intent. He took a heavy step forward, his fist glowing with the dense, gray light of his *Iron Vanguard* combat skill. "I'm going to teach you a lesson about the hierarchy of this wasteland. Break his legs."

The thug on the left lunged first, lifting his heavy iron club and swinging it directly at Ren’s head with enough force to crack solid concrete. It was an unprovoked, lethal strike.

Instantly, a mechanical chime echoed like a striking gavel inside Ren's mind.

[Alert! Unprovoked Hostile Intent Detected.]

[Absolute Defensive Condition: Met.]

[Sovereign Authority: Unlocked. Divine Judgment Protocol is now ONLINE.]

Ren didn't just dodge; her agility stat, now a massive 95 thanks to her Celestial Fox Princess baseline, made the thug's movements look like they were trapped in slow motion. She stepped lightly to the side, her movements carrying a graceful, liquid fluidity that completely bypassed the clumsy weight of her oversized disguise.

With a thought, her hand gripped the invisible hilt at her waist. Light flashed.

*Asuka* left its scabbard. To the thugs, it looked like the scrap-boy had simply waved his hand, but a brilliant, crescent arc of pure white-hot spiritual fire sliced through the dim alley. The blade didn't touch the thug's flesh—it passed cleanly through his weapon and his chest like a ghost.

"Argh!" The thug collapsed to his knees, dropping his club. He wasn't bleeding. There was no physical wound. But a horrific, agonizing scream ripped from his throat as a dense, blue orb of energy—his *Thug* class core—was forcibly ripped from his chest by the white fire and shattered into a million sparkling fragments.

The man rolled in the mud, gasping and weeping, his body suddenly looking deflated, frail, and entirely emptied of life force.

"What... what did you do to him?!" the second thug yelled, his face turning pale as he backed away.

Garrow’s jaw dropped. His primitive bio-scenses could feel that his lackey’s spiritual resonance had completely vanished from the world. Rage and fear overrode his judgment. "You damn freak! I'll crush you!"

Garrow roared, activating his primary combat skill, *Iron Charge*. His body coated itself in a thick layer of metallic energy as he sprinted forward like a runaway freight train, aiming to impale Ren against the rusted tin wall.

Ren stood her ground, her white hair and fluffy tail swaying invisibly behind the glamour. She held *Asuka* with a single, delicate hand, pointing the tip of the blade directly at Garrow's incoming chest.

"Divine Judgment," she whispered, her true silver voice vibrating with absolute authority.

She swung the katana in a swift, vertical downward stroke. The white-hot fox-fire erupting from the blade cleaved right through Garrow’s reinforced *Iron Charge* barrier as if it were made of wet paper. The sacred steel whispered past his chest, severing the heavy, metallic ley-lines of his Vanguard blueprint.

Garrow froze mid-stride. The metallic sheen on his skin cracked like shattered glass, peeling away into gray ash. He fell to his knees, clutching his chest as a massive explosion of blue sparks erupted from his soul, dissipating into the toxic sky.

Garrow looked down at his hands, which were now trembling, weak, and devoid of any magical density. He was just an ordinary, fragile human now, completely stripped of the power that gave him status in Sector 7. Tears of absolute horror streamed down his face. "My... my class... my power... it's gone... I'm a scrap-rat..."

Ren smoothly sheathed *Asuka*, the blade disappearing back into her system inventory with a silent hum. She looked down at the weeping bullies, her crimson eyes cold and unbothered by the absolute destruction she had just caused.

"Take your friend and get out of my alley," Ren said, her voice projected through the illusion as a harsh, icy whisper. "If any of you, or your gang, ever touches my home again... I won't just take your classes. I'll let the fox-fire burn what's left."

The second thug didn't even hesitate. He grabbed the two groaning, classless cripples by their collars and dragged them frantically out of the alley, screaming in terror.

Ren turned and stepped inside her ruined shack, propping the dented iron door back into place. She was alone in the dark now, her hidden white fox ears twitching as the adrenaline slowly faded. She opened her interface, watching the golden characters swirl in the dark. She had verified her power. She wasn't just surviving the post-apocalypse anymore; she held the absolute law of the system in her hands. Anyone who tried to hunt the Fox Princess would find themselves utterly broken.
