【Daily Mission: Perform one good deed—Mission Complete! Current energy: 5.1.】

“Huh? 0.1?” Jiang Yumo said. “Make it 6.”

The system firmly refused to take the blame: 【The monitoring system determines this based on mission difficulty.】Full novel: The Reformed Me Turned The Male Lead Gay — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“So everything is the monitoring system’s fault? Then what use are you?”

【The monitoring system only collects data. I can help the host use the system and provide reasonable and legal suggestions.】

“Oh~” Jiang Yumo said. “Useless is useless, don’t make excuses.”

The system felt aggrieved: QWQ

While others were upset, he felt pleased. Bullying the system improved Jiang Yumo’s mood slightly.

Fifteen minutes later, he arrived at the entrance of the villa district.

Jiang Yumo had lived in the Jiang family since he was four, but even now at eighteen, his information had never been entered into the family records.

Every time he came home, the security guard had to call the Jiang family for approval before letting him in. Sometimes he had to wait a long time, usually when Jiang Chongyuan and Jiang Ran were at home.

But today, he didn’t have to wait long, the gate opened quickly.

Jiang Yumo smiled at the security guard and casually rode his little green bike inside.

The butler hung up the phone at the guard post and immediately called Jiang Huarong: “Young Master Jiang Yumo has returned.”

At that moment, Jiang Huarong was at the office, not aware of what had happened with Jiang Chongyuan. He immediately instructed: “Have the young lady and Madam stop him. Wait for me, I want to personally bring him to apologize!”

“But the young lady went out early, and Madam just left as well.”

“At a time like this, dammit! Stop him! Make sure you catch him!”

“Yes, sir.”

The butler, following orders, and a few others waited at the gate under the scorching summer sun.

Unlike Jiang Huarong, the butler had just overheard the phone call between Jiang Chongyuan and Madam Jiang.

Jiang Yumo seemed different, he had changed, and he had become very difficult to handle.

Just in case, he planned to take control of the moment the young master arrived. There were four or five men present, all male servants, all used to hard labor and physically strong.

Jiang Yumo’s personality may have changed, but his body was still that of a thin, weak child, these men could handle him with ease.

But twenty minutes passed, the men were covered in dust blown by the scorching wind, and not a single person appeared.

Everyone was drenched in sweat, their mouths dry and tongues parched.

“Why hasn’t he arrived yet? Ten minutes should’ve been enough to get here,” one said.

“It’s so hot… could the young master have fainted from heatstroke on the way?”

The butler thought for a moment, then suddenly turned pale. “Not good.”

He ran inside in a rush, and the others hesitated for a few seconds before following. The group ran around the courtyard to the back of the villa. From afar, they saw someone emerging from a small dog kennel shack and heading toward the fence.

“Young Master Yumo! Young Master Yumo!” the butler shouted, straining his voice. “You’re home, if you’re staying for dinner, just eat, don’t run off!”

Jiang Yumo jumped up and grabbed the fence, pushing off with alternating feet to squat atop it. He now had a worn little shoulder bag slung across him. He smiled, “I just came back to grab something. Forget dinner, Jiang family meals aren’t for me. Bye-bye!”

Jiang Yumo effortlessly jumped down from the fence, swung onto his little green bike, and rode off.

The wind caught his jacket, puffing it like wings of freedom, and before long he vanished from sight.

“What do we do now?” one servant asked.

“Chase after him! I’ll contact the guard post to stop him,” the butler ordered anxiously.

The villa had no convenient vehicles, so the servants had to run after him. By the time they did a round trip, a lot of time had been lost.

The butler ran back to the villa, barely catching his breath, and called the guard post. “Wait, wait! If you see our young master, don’t let him leave! He… he’s just upset with the family and wants to run away. Don’t, cough, cough, don’t let him leave.”

He didn’t even have time to take a sip of water before hastily getting into a car and heading for the villa gates.

But the gate was tightly closed; there wasn’t a single figure in sight. The butler immediately asked the guards, “Didn’t I tell you to stop Young Master Yumo and not let him leave?”

The guard looked puzzled. “No, I didn’t see anyone come out.”

“How is that possible?!” The butler turned to the servants, who said they hadn’t seen anyone along the way either.

“Damn it!” The butler’s face twitched in frustration. Then he suddenly slapped his thigh. “Which way is the other nearby gate?”

The guard pointed out a path. The butler immediately turned and chased after him, but before long he was stopped at a tangled, chaotic crossroads, like the arms of an octopus spreading in all directions.

The butler had never been to the other villa exit, so he had no idea which way to go. He slammed the steering wheel, his carefully styled hair plastered to his head with sweat, and cursed wildly over the blaring horn: “Damn it!!!!”

Jiang Yumo swung his little worn bag over his shoulder and rode his little green bike away from the villa with ease. Just thinking about how furious and incompetent the Jiang family idiots must be made him feel ecstatic. He couldn’t even imagine how they would endure the wrath of the Qian brothers, hahaha.

He was already an adult, with his ID on him.

The sky was high, the birds could fly, freedom… the freedom he had longed for so much was finally his…

【Ding! Daily Mission 2: Do a good deed today!】

Sizzle!

Jiang Yumo stomped on the brakes. “Huh? Didn’t I already do that today?”

【We are the “Helping Others for Fun” system! One good deed a day isn’t enough. Of course, you must do more! Bigger! Stronger!】

The system was full of zeal, but Jiang Yumo’s heart was dead calm.

His murderous intent flared. “I’m not doing it!”

After being forced to do those things yesterday, his chest still felt like ten thousand ants crawling inside, his whole body was miserable.

【Failure to complete the mission will result in a random punishment, including but not limited to…】

“Shut up!” Jiang Yumo snapped. “Say another word and I’ll just find a car and smash you!”

System: 【Uh… okay, that’s what you said yourself, host.】

The system buried its face in shame at a series of “random punishments” in the backend. This was because the host had forbidden it to speak, this wasn’t the system hiding anything deliberately.

Jiang Yumo finally got some peace. He enjoyed the breeze on his face for a moment, then twisted the wheel, stomped the rear brake, and executed a short drift, coming to a smooth stop in a roadside parking area.

He went into a bubble tea shop on the first floor of a nearby mall and extravagantly ordered a cake milk tea “giant” with every topping imaginable.

Basking in the air conditioning while sunlight streamed in, sipping the ice-cold milk tea, Jiang Yumo closed his eyes in contentment.

His phone vibrated. He received a message from Gu Youyou.

Gu Youyou: Benefactor! Have you woken up?

Gu Youyou: May I ask if your name is Jiang Yumo? It’s so beautiful!

Gu Youyou: Thank you so, so, so much for last night!!!

At the Gu residence, a luxurious estate in the city center, Gu Youyou curled up on the sofa in the first-floor living room, nervously biting her fingers.

“What’s the matter, Youyou?” Madam Gu asked.

Gu Youyou wasn’t used to calling Madam Gu “Mom” yet. She hesitated, speaking unclearly, “Uh… I… I want to be friends with someone, but I don’t know how to make them want to be my friend.”

“Whose child is it?” Madam Gu asked, a little surprised. “Is it someone you met at the party last night?”

“Sort of,” Gu Youyou nodded.

Madam Gu covered her mouth and laughed. “Then share the things you like with them, and then ask if they want to go out and play together.”

Gu Youyou: “Will that really work?” Her benefactor didn’t really pay much attention to her last night.

Madam Gu: “You’re so cute, I’m sure it will work. By the way, what’s their name?”

Madam Gu wanted to screen her daughter’s friends first, friends should come from a clean circle.

“That has to be with their permission to say.”

Gu Youyou felt a bit more confident. “I know what to do now!”

Gu Youyou: Benefactor! Tomorrow is my birthday! Can you come to my birthday party?

【Host, aren’t you going to reply?】

“Tch, reply with what?” Jiang Yumo scoffed. “What can Gu Yu do to me? Can’t I just ignore his little sister?”

Gu Youyou: Transfer 50,000

Gu Youyou: A small gift, I hope you will accept it!

Jiang Yumo: Voluntary gift?

Gu Youyou didn’t understand, but it didn’t stop her from thinking her benefactor could do no wrong.

Gu Youyou: Voluntary gift!

Jiang Yumo tapped to accept. While Gu Youyou anxiously waited, he moved his fingers.

Jiang Yumo: Address.

“Great!” Gu Youyou happily clenched her fists. “He agreed!”

Her daughter was excited, and Madam Gu was pleased too. “Youyou, that’s wonderful! But can I ask how you did it?” She was just worried her daughter might be deceived.

Gu Youyou pressed her lips into a smile. “I just shared what I think is the most precious thing with him.”

In Gu Youyou’s understanding, money is the most important! It can buy so many things, and even pay for medical treatment!

She immediately sent the address and the electronic invitation.

Jiang Yumo: Ok

【Host, I thought you didn’t want any interaction with the male lead? Why did you agree?】

Jiang Yumo winked slyly. “I misthought earlier. I can’t kill Gu Yu, but I can disgust him to death!”

Besides, he had just been considering whether to retrace the old path from his past life to make money, now the money came to him. Only a fool would refuse!

In his previous life, after he died, everything surely went to the male lead.

All his hard work for a lifetime, and in the end, he ended up working for Gu Yu. That disgusted Jiang Yumo to no end.

Now he wanted revenge, and Gu Youyou would be a perfect pawn!
