The lights of the city were just beginning to twinkle. It was a world of intoxication, madness, and freedom. Welcome to S-City.
Inside a luxurious private booth at the bar, the lighting was ambiguous, and lingering, poignant music flowed slowly through the air.
“Yinyin, how is it? Am I treating you well? These few are the top-tier favorites in my club, and every single one of them is exceptionally well-endowed and experienced.”
“The experience is guaranteed not to lose to those adult toys designed by your company. Pick whichever you like and play to your heart’s content.”
Meng Wantang’s voice was bewitching as she cast a lingering, seductive glance, sticking close to the woman half-hidden in the dim light.
Shen Lanyin leaned lazily against the sofa, her slender, fair fingers holding a glass of red wine as she swirled it gently, the blood-crystal liquid seeming to shimmer with a faint glow.
The woman’s figure was sexy and fiery; a tight, crimson, deep-V long dress outlined her exquisite curves to absolute perfection.
It was enough to make anyone’s blood rush at just a single glance!
She tilted her head back slightly and took a sip of the red wine, her seaweed-like, long, and flowing cascading waves of dark hair tumbling down.
It revealed a slender swan neck and exquisite collarbones, while her red lips, stained with the wine, looked alluring and delectable.
Her nose was straight and slightly upturned, and her upturned eyes brimmed with an aggressive color. Her aura was both seductive and wild.
She was truly a siren born to captivate!
Shen Lanyin cast a casual, indifferent glance at the row of tall, straight male models standing before her.
Tsk, truly worthy of being the top favorites.
Every single one of them had broad shoulders, narrow waists, high nasal bridges, defined abs, chest muscles, and long legs.
Although those men were handsome in their own distinct ways, they were dressed uniformly: black suit trousers on the lower half.
As for the upper half, they were going completely bare, wearing nothing at all.
Charming smiles hung on their handsome faces, and their burning gazes fixed on Shen Lanyin were full of teasing and temptation.
“Tonight is truly such an intoxicating night!”
The woman smiled brightly, like a poppy blooming in the dark night. She was exquisite yet dangerous.
Every single curve was filled with a fatal attraction, making one willingly and forever sink into eternal damnation.
She extended a single finger to lightly point at the ruggedly handsome model standing at the very end, saying lazily, “Just him.”
The man who was pointed at raised his eyelids slightly, staring at Shen Lanyin with an unreadable expression that carried a heavy sense of oppression.
He resembled a solitary wolf king wandering through a frozen, snowy wasteland, finally locking onto the prey he had been searching for relentlessly.
He was the tallest, with superior bone structure. Like an ancient Greek sculpture, he was a flawless masterpiece favored even by God.
His peach-blossom eyes curved inward and tilted upward, deep as a pool, with the long, narrow corners of his eyes hazy with a shimmering, bloody scarlet, exuding an air of wicked charm.
A black necklace worn around his neck hung with a small piece of a white finger bone, reflecting a faint, chilly light under the lights.
Meng Wantang, the owner of MAX Bar, walked gracefully to Shen Lanyin’s side and sat down, the corners of her lips curling up slightly with a teasing look on her face.
“Yinyin, how come you changed your taste? Weren’t you always the one who loved your brother…”
Before Meng Wantang could finish her sentence, she noticed Shen Lanyin’s expression grow slightly cold. She quickly corrected herself, “Weren’t you always the one who liked the aloof and cold type?”
Shen Lanyin put down the wine glass in her hand and replied offhandedly, “I got tired of it.”
Meng Wantang nodded thoughtfully. “That is true. Even delicacies will get tiresome if you eat them too often. Changing it up occasionally is good.”
She beckoned to the ruggedly handsome model, earnestly instructing, “Lu Xiao, put in some extra effort and serve her well.”
With that, she stood up and walked toward the door. The other male models also filed out, following her away from the private booth.
Lu Xiao moved his long legs, walking against the light. His features in the shadows were unclear, making him both mysterious and dangerous.
His sharp gaze stared deeply at the woman, his whole body exuding a devil-may-care attitude.
With long-jointed fingers, he picked up the wine glass Shen Lanyin had left on the table and slowly swirled it.
The man covered the seductive lip print left by the woman and took a light sip of the red wine.
His jawline was sharp and smooth, and his sexy, prominent Adam’s apple bobbed up and down.
Then, with a flick of his hand, he poured the remaining red wine over his athletic physique.
The wine liquid swirled around his collarbone before sliding down reluctantly.
It traced a winding path down the man’s sturdy chest muscles, across his crisscrossing abdominal muscles, and all the way to his gorgeous mermaid lines.
The liquid color was as dazzling as a ruby, complementing the man’s honey-toned skin.
Finally, it disappeared into the man’s taut, bulging black suit trousers.
It was both wild and alluring, begging to be knelt before.
He leaned forward slightly, extended a hand, and gently gripped Shen Lanyin’s wrist.
The woman shuddered slightly, but she did not pull away.
The man’s well-articulated fingers massaged the woman’s soft skin, sending a tingling wave of electricity through her.
Shen Lanyin did not like this kind of soul-penetrating, suffocating sensation.
She flipped her palm over, looped her hand around Lu Xiao’s, and slowly stood up to lean close to his ear, her breath warm like orchids.
“Quite good at flirting, huh? What number customer are you?”
The man’s handsome, thin lips moved. “The first.” His voice was deep and carried a bubbling texture.
Shen Lanyin raised an eyebrow, clearly not believing it, and took a step back. “Do you say that to every customer?”
With his eyelashes lowering slightly, Lu Xiao’s gaze gradually grew dark and murky, his black pupils hiding countless undercurrents. “It seems you have completely forgotten me, and thoroughly so.”
Hearing this, Shen Lanyin tilted her head and carefully sized up the man for a moment, looking bewildered. “Did I used to play with you?”
Lu Xiao neither confirmed nor denied it. Wrapping his hands around the woman’s slender waist, he was just about to open his mouth when a cell phone ringtone interrupted him.
Shen Lanyin casually pushed the man away, bent down to fish her phone out of her leather bag, and after seeing the caller ID clearly, hung up the call right away.
Lu Xiao raised an eyebrow. “Who is it? Why aren’t you answering?”
Shen Lanyin sat back down on the sofa, feeling irritated and annoyed as she snapped back, “Did you change careers to become a plumber? Why are you sticking your nose into so much?”
Lu Xiao: “…”
Barely a moment after she hung up, the phone ringtone stubbornly rang out once more.
Shen Lanyin hesitated for a moment before finally answering, “Brother.”
“Yinyin, where are you? Why aren’t you home yet this late?”
“I’m at MAX.”
The man on the other end of the line fell silent for a brief moment. “I’m coming to pick you up.”
It was not a question, but a statement of fact.
Shen Lanyin knew that even if she refused, Shen Huaixu would still come anyway, so she simply agreed, “Alright.”
Lu Xiao blocked the woman’s path. “You’re leaving?”
Shen Lanyin’s mood had long since been ruined by that phone call from her brother, and she had no desire to entangle herself with Lu Xiao any further. “How much? Name your price.”
She waited for a moment, and seeing that the man remained silent, she pulled a check out of her bag directly.
“I haven’t been out to play in a long time, so I don’t know the current rates, but one hundred thousand should be enough, right?”
Shen Lanyin stuffed the filled-out check into the waistband of the man’s trousers, coaxing him perfunctorily. “Be a good boy, I’ll look for you next time.”
Half an hour later, a pearl-white Pagani was parked quietly in front of MAX Bar, attracting frequent double-takes and photos from passing pedestrians.
A sultry-looking woman wearing heavy smoky eye makeup walked up boldly, leaned down to tap on the car window, and spoke in a sweet, soft voice.
“Handsome, I lost my purse. Could you please be so kind as to drive me home?”
The fabric on the woman’s body was pitifully scarce, and because she was bending over, the scenery at her chest was on full display, swelling and fragrant.
“Sure, but this car only has two seats. If you aren’t afraid of dying, would you like to sit on the roof?”
Hearing that voice, the smoky-eyed beauty turned her head around. Shen Lanyin stood with her arms crossed, smiling brightly and daringly.
The tall man stepped out of the car. His facial features were exceptionally well-formed.
Deep yet not sharp, with a restrained brilliance and a noble aura, he made the gazes of everyone present involuntarily gravitate toward him.
Shen Huaixu turned a blind eye to all this burning attention.
He walked up to Shen Lanyin with poise and composure, draped the gray suit jacket in his hand over her shoulders, and said, “Let’s go home.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he habitually reached out his hand to ruffle Shen Lanyin’s hair, but she tilted her head to dodge it.
“Brother, I’m all grown up. I’m not a little kid anymore.”
A bitter smile pulled at the corners of Shen Huaixu’s mouth as he lowered his hand and said, “Fine. Once a little sister grows up, she becomes distant from her brother.”
With a crooked smile, Shen Lanyin walked straight ahead to open the driver’s side door, glancing sideways at the smoky-eyed beauty left standing blankly on the side. “Brother, I’ll drive you home.”
Shen Huaixu nodded, got into the passenger seat, and instructed, “Don’t drive too fast.”
No sooner had his voice fallen than the roar of the engine suddenly pierced the air, and the white supercar sped away like a flash.
A half-hour drive was summarily cut in half.
The Pagani drove into the Shen family estate and parked steadily in front of a luxurious villa.
Even after getting out of the car, Shen Huaixu was still lingering with lingering fear. “Yinyin, you must not street-race like this next time. It’s too dangerous.”
Shen Lanyin closed the car door, unfazed. “Brother, it looks like you really are getting old. The cars you used to race when you were young were much faster than mine.”
Shen Huaixu didn’t refute her, his tone doting. “Alright, alright, it’s true that I’m old. But listening to the advice of elders is never wrong.”
“Fine, I’ll drive slower next time,” Shen Lanyin replied offhandedly, walking ahead on her own before stopping after a few steps.
“Brother, lend me this car to drive for a few days.”
Shen Huaixu shook his head. Shen Lanyin curled her lips. “Stingy.” Who would have thought his next sentence would give her quite a start?
“It’s yours.”
Shen Lanyin instantly felt the car keys in her hand turn into a hot potato.
“Tsk, Brother, you’re way too lavish. You dare give it away, but I don’t dare accept it.” She tossed the car keys back to Shen Huaixu.
Shen Huaixu raised a hand to catch them, strode over to stand right in front of Shen Lanyin, and extended a large hand to mess up her hair.
“Since you were little, you were afraid of nothing in heaven or on earth, and you always loved snatching things from me. How come now that you’ve grown up, you’ve gotten timid instead?”
Shen Lanyin lowered her gaze. “Because once people grow up, they realize that things which don’t belong to them cannot be forced.”
With that, she turned around and walked away quickly, because the pain suddenly surging into her heart made her want nothing more than to flee from his side.
