Lucifer restrained his aura and followed the staggering Andura at a leisurely pace, flying under the dark red sky of the Demon Realm.

Andura seemed extremely familiar with the route; despite his heavy injuries, he didn’t hesitate and headed straight in a specific direction.

After flying for about half an hour, the desolate and hideous landscape of the ground below began to change.Full novel: The Seven Deadly Sins: Lucifer’s Path to the Throne — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The rugged black stone mountains gradually leveled out, revealing a relatively open valley.

In the center of this valley, a group of temporary buildings that were completely out of place with the rugged style of the Demon Realm came into Lucifer’s view.

It was a camp consisting of dozens of exquisitely styled tents of various sizes.

The main bodies of the tents featured shades of deep purple, dark red, and silver-gray.

The fabric was smooth, with intricate dark patterns embroidered on the edges, clearly made of some special material with magic resistance.

Between the tents, several crystal pillars emitting a soft white light were erected at regular intervals, serving as both lighting and faintly forming a simple protective or warning formation.

On the outskirts of the camp, figures wearing simple armor with wings folded behind their backs could be seen patrolling.

The entire camp was orderly, exuding the caution and restraint of an exotic civilization struggling to take root in a wild land.

“Is that…

a temporary base established by the Vampire Clan?” Lucifer understood in his heart; it was much as he had guessed.

As the Captain of the Warriors and the Vanguard of exploration, Andura would inevitably have a base for supplies and assembly.

Sure enough, the Andura in front spoke without looking back.

His voice was still raspy, but having returned to his own territory, he seemed to have gained some confidence: “Ahead is the camp our clan has temporarily established in the Demon Realm.

The conditions are simple; please don’t laugh.”

After saying that, he slightly adjusted his direction and descended toward the camp’s entrance, which was clearly the main gate.

The camp gate consisted of two metal pillars carved with bat and thorn totems.

There was no physical door in the middle, but a nearly transparent light purple magic film rippled slightly.

Lucifer remained expressionless and descended as well.

His feet lightly touched the ground, and the black wings on his back slowly folded and disappeared.

His pure black eyes quickly scanned the guards at the camp entrance and the internal layout, taking in every detail.

“Greetings, Captain of the Warriors!”

Two vampire guards at the gate, wearing light armor and thin swords at their waists, immediately clutched their chests and bowed the moment they saw it was Andura, saluting in unison with respectful postures.

However, when they looked up and saw Andura’s empty left shoulder, which had been temporarily sealed with magic but was still stained with blood, one of the younger guards couldn’t help but cry out in shock:

“Captain!

Your arm…?!”

This exclamation was filled with unbelievable shock and a hint of anger.

In their minds, the powerful and elegant Captain of the Warriors, Andura, had actually had an arm cut off during exploration.

Andura frowned slightly but did not lash out.

He simply waved his remaining right hand casually, signaling the other to be quiet.

“A minor injury, it’s nothing.”

He brushed off this heavy injury, which was enough to affect his combat power, with a few light words, clearly unwilling to show too much embarrassment in front of his subordinates.

Immediately, he changed the subject, his tone regaining some of the dignity of a Captain of the Warriors:

“Elder Shaloria…

has she already returned to the camp?”

When he asked this question, his gaze turned toward the tallest and most luxuriously decorated purple tent deep in the camp, a trace of imperceptible urgency flashing in the depths of his eyes.

Lucifer stood there in Reticence from beginning to end, like an insignificant shadow.

His pure black eyes quietly flickered with a faint, imperceptible red light—the Magic Eye of Balor had been silently activated.

His gaze swept over the two guards:

[Individual: Vampire Clan Guard A]

[Comprehensive Combat Class: 8500]

[Individual: Vampire Clan Guard B]

[[Comprehensive Combat Class: 8600]

8,500, 8,600…

Lucifer’s heart felt no ripples.

With a Combat Class of this level, now that he had copied “kirato” and possessed the potential of Eternal Absorption, it was indeed just a matter of a strike or two.

If not for the deal regarding Andura’s “thirty bodies” and his curiosity about the hidden power of this vampire camp, he might have really considered taking action directly to test his new abilities on these vampires.

“Reporting to the Captain, Elder Shaloria returned with the Hunting Party an hour ago and is currently resting in her tent,” the older guard immediately replied respectfully.

Hearing this definite answer, Andura’s tight lips twitched upward almost imperceptibly, forming a subtle arc that was a mix of relaxation, ruthlessness, and calculation.

Although this arc was fleeting and he quickly regained his composure, Lucifer, who had been observing him from the corner of his eye, had keenly captured this detail.

As expected…

he has something to rely on.

Lucifer sneered inwardly, but his face remained calm.

“Mm.” Andura nodded with satisfaction, and only then did he seem to remember Lucifer’s existence.

He turned to Lucifer and said in a slightly more distant tone than before, “Lord Lucifer, please follow me.”

After speaking, he ignored the guards and walked straight through the light purple film toward the camp.

The film showed no reaction to his passage.

Lucifer sensed it slightly; the film seemed to have identification and warning functions, but it did not block individuals who were not of the Vampire Clan and showed no obvious hostility.

He stepped forward calmly and followed him in.

After entering the camp, Andura did not go directly to the most prominent purple tent belonging to “Elder Shaloria.” Instead, he led Lucifer through the tents and finally arrived at a gray tent on the edge of the camp that looked quite ordinary, even a bit simple. “Conditions are limited; please wait here for a moment.” Andura lifted the tent flap and signaled Lucifer to enter.

The interior of the tent was not large, containing only a simple stone couch covered with animal skins, a low table, and two cushions.

The air was filled with the dust of the Demon Realm and a faint, sandalwood-like exotic scent.

“The thirty biological bodies with a Combat Class of five thousand that you requested will take some time for us to prepare and assemble,” Andura said to Lucifer while standing in the tent, his tone sounding very sincere.

Lucifer did not respond immediately.

He walked into the tent, his pure black eyes slowly scanning every corner, from the rough tent cloth to the edge of the stone couch, from the dust on the low table to the gravel covering the ground.

His gaze was calm and focused, as if evaluating the sturdiness of this temporary cage, or perhaps looking for some hidden clues.

Andura stood in place, watching Lucifer’s silent observation without rushing him.

He only unconsciously and gently rubbed the spot on his waist where “kirato” had originally hung with his remaining right hand; it was now empty.

The air in the tent seemed to freeze.

Only the faint sounds of patrolling footsteps from outside the camp and the never-ending wind of the Demon Realm made the interior seem even more silent, filled with an invisible, suffocating awkwardness and confrontation.

After a long time, Lucifer seemed to have completed his “inspection” and slowly turned around, his pure black eyes looking calmly at Andura.

“Fine.” He was concise, his voice sounding exceptionally clear in the small tent.

“I will wait here.

I hope…

it won’t be too long.”

Andura seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and immediately clutched his chest and bowed slightly: “Please rest assured, Your Lordship.

I will be back shortly.”

After speaking, he didn’t stay and quickly turned to exit the tent.

The tent flap fell, cutting off the view between inside and outside.

Inside the tent, only Lucifer remained.

He walked to the stone couch but did not sit down, simply standing there quietly.

A cold and expectant arc slowly curled at the corner of his mouth.

The smile did not reach his eyes; instead, it made his pure black pupils appear even deeper, like a predator waiting for its prey in the dark of night.

An invitation to a “fierce battle”…

He sensed the several obscure auras outside the tent that were quietly strengthening and intentionally or unintentionally blocking all directions, as well as the increasingly ancient, cold, and powerful magic fluctuation rising from the large purple tent deep in the camp.

That’s fine.

Lucifer lightly clenched his fist, feeling the Demon God Power flowing within him and the cold touch from the replica “kirato” at his waist.

I hope the’surprise’ you’ve prepared won’t disappoint me too much.

I hope the Combat Class…

isn’t too low.
