“Hmm?”
Chu Yin held her close in his arms, deliberately exhaling into her ear.
“Small?” He pressed her hand down along his body. Even though a layer of clothing separated them, she could clearly feel his warmth through her palm.
Yu Jiao froze for a moment, and when her hand brushed against an even hotter area, she recoiled in shock, her elbow bumping into him, causing a not-so-small commotion inside the carriage.
The coachman suddenly called out, “Your Highness, what’s wrong?”
Yu Jiao looked up. Chu Yin remained unfazed, even covering her mouth. The coachman, not receiving a response, called out again.
Her face flushed unnaturally with urgency. She tugged at his sleeve and let out a few soft murmurs, “Mm… mm…”
The carriage slowed noticeably, and Yu Jiao pressed closer to him, desperate.
Chu Yin lowered his gaze calmly, looking at her. “Answer me first.”
Yu Jiao quickly glanced outside the carriage and, blushing, nodded. After he released her, she leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Not… not small.”
“Then how will you prove it?”
Yu Jiao stiffened. Her earlobes burned red enough to bleed—how could she possibly prove that?
“Have you touched it?”
“Your Highness?” The coachman hesitated and called again.
Yu Jiao pinched Chu Yin’s waist lightly, fuming. Only then did he lazily respond, “Nothing.”
She exhaled deeply. Chu Yin gave her a sidelong glance. Her fair face still glowed with a lingering blush, making her look irresistibly biteable.
The next second, Chu Yin cupped her face and leaned in. What was originally an urge to bite transformed into an impulse to suck.
He narrowed his eyes. As expected, it was a little sweet.
Yu Jiao froze in his arms, blinking in disbelief.
But a single suction wasn’t enough—he did it again.
Yu Jiao inhaled sharply as a shiver of tingling ran through her entire body.
Chu Yin straightened, leaving a red mark where he had sucked, then glanced at the other side.
Hmm… it would be perfect if it were symmetrical.
Yu Jiao understood his gaze and, frightened, escaped from his arms, retreating to a corner.
She looked at him like a little helpless creature.
Th-this person… actually acted like he was sucking a cat!!
Chu Yin looked at the empty space in his arms and raised an eyebrow. “Not splitting?”
The person in the corner immediately changed her expression, playfully leaning back into his arms and offering the other cheek. “I was just joking with Your Highness. Will you suck again?”
Chu Yin pressed his fingers against her forehead, frowning lightly. “Frivolous.”
Yu Jiao wasn’t angry. She pressed against him again.
Every time he pushed her away, she came closer. The more he resisted, the tighter she clung.
After several attempts, she hugged his waist tightly, unwilling to let go. Chu Yin looked at the little head nestled against his chest, raising an approving brow.
Just a ten percent share, and she was this proactive?
If it were twenty percent, would this little rabbit be even bolder?
Yu Jiao beamed and looked up. “Your Highness, can we split it now?”
“Hm.”
Her eyes sparkled brighter. She reached out her hand. “Then Your Highness can give me ninety percent of the deed first. The remainder from the chest can be divided later.”
Chu Yin paused. “Princess Consort, what do you mean by ninety percent?”
“Split one-to-nine. Your Highness gets one.”
Chu Yin chuckled lightly. “Princess Consort must be mistaken. You get one, this Prince, gets nine.”
Yu Jiao sat upright immediately. “Your Highness… you’re cheating!”
Chu Yin shrugged. “This was said by Princess Consort of Yan herself.”
“Impossible! When did I ever say…” Yu Jiao suddenly froze.
Chu Yin’s smile deepened, eyebrows raised. “Seems like Princess Consort remembers. You said a one-to-nine split with me.”
He pointed at her with his long, elegant fingers. “You and me, one,” then pointed to himself, “nine.”
Yu Jiao’s small hands clenched into fists, her expressions shifting rapidly and vividly.
Chu Yin rested his chin on his hand, amusedly watching.
Her teeth were clenched so tightly—would one fall out?
If it did, would she cry and crawl into his arms?
Chu Yin laughed, prompting Yu Jiao to inhale sharply a few times in frustration.
“One percent is one percent!” she held up a hand in front of him.
Chu Yin lazily glanced down, squinting. “Did I, agree to that?”
Yu Jiao froze, quickly recalling. She had said to let them off and split with him one-to-nine. He agreed.
“You clearly agreed.”
Chu Yin smirked. “What I, agreed to was letting them off.”
“You!”
“You’re unreasonable!” After a moment, she finally managed to say it.
Chu Yin found it amusing. It was the first time someone had only called him unreasonable in anger.
Yu Jiao’s face colored in a spectrum of emotions, making Chu Yin laugh even more.
Look, even an agitated rabbit doesn’t bite.
Look at those two little pink fists.
…Quite entertaining, actually.
Yu Jiao, irritated, bit her lip and puffed her cheeks. Chu Yin observed it all.
This expression… actually pleased him.
Yu Jiao turned to look out the window, deciding to ignore him entirely.
Chu Yin could only see her profile and those puffed cheeks. He reached out to pinch them, but she swatted his hand away.
He wasn’t annoyed, just ruffling her hair. “Angry?”
She remained silent.
Suddenly, her stomach let out an ungraceful growl, making Chu Yin chuckle quietly.
“Hungry?”
Still no response. At least she had a temper.
He glanced at her small, sunken stomach, smiling lightly, and instructed, “Change course. Go to Qingxiang Restaurant.”
The coachman acknowledged and turned the carriage.
Yu Jiao pouted, “I don’t—”
Before she could finish, Chu Yin shook his head, sighed, and spoke on his own:
“Qingxiang Restaurant is reputed to be the ‘Number One Restaurant of Yan Capital.’ Especially the roasted meat—juicy, golden, and crisp. The little soup buns are rich and flavorful. The pastries are delicate, chewy, translucent, and sweet.
“The dishes are abundant and aromatic, surpassing even the palace chefs.”
He glanced casually at her. Yu Jiao swallowed and smacked her lips.
He curved his lips slightly and continued, “I originally thought we could eat while discussing the split with Princess Consort, but it’s not on the way. Better to return to the residence.”
“By the way, what did Princess Consort just say?” Chu Yin asked leisurely, watching her.
Yu Jiao quickly looked away, blinking rapidly, her lips moving.
“Oh.” Chu Yin raised a brow. “Looks like I, forgot to instruct to turn back to the residence.”
“No!” Yu Jiao scooted back into his arms, holding his hand and gazing fully at him.
“Your Highness, how can you be like this? If you’re hungry, you must eat. Not eating is bad for your health. If your health suffers, I’ll worry. Worrying will make me anxious and weak. Can you bear that?”
Her little face was truly pitiful. If only he hadn’t heard her stomach growl again.
Yu Jiao looked completely considerate. “You’re hungry, right? I’ll go eat with you.”
Chu Yin laughed, impressed by her quick tongue.
“Then… Princess Consort treats?”
Yu Jiao hesitated.
“If you treat me, I, the Prince, will give you one percent.”
Yu Jiao smiled. “Deal.”
By then, they had arrived at Qingxiang Restaurant.
