Noah walked through the enormous forest.

The distance between him and Silverbrook Town gradually decreased.

Along the way, he encountered unfamiliar plants, strange insects, and several small magical creatures.Full novel: The Supreme Dragon Emperor: My Infinite Evolution System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Some looked harmless.

Others had sharp claws and glowing eyes.

Fortunately, none of them attempted to approach him.

After walking for some time, Noah finally saw the settlement.

Silverbrook Town.

The town was surrounded by tall stone walls, with several watchtowers positioned along its perimeter.

Carriages entered and exited through the main gate. Merchants transported goods, adventurers carried weapons, and ordinary residents went about their daily activities.

Noah approached the entrance.

The guards noticed his appearance almost immediately.

One of them stared at his horns.

"Those are... dragon horns?"

His companion examined Noah's golden eyes.

"Draconic characteristics, certainly."

"Could he be a dragon?"

The older guard looked thoughtful.

"Or someone with dragon blood. We haven't seen a dragon in the mortal world for centuries."

Noah calmly approached.

"Good morning."

The guard nodded.

"Welcome to Silverbrook. Are you visiting?"

"Yes. First time here."

The guard briefly glanced at Noah's horns again but didn't question him further.

"Then welcome. Please enjoy your stay."

Noah entered the town.

...

The streets were lively.

Several shops lined the roads, including weapon stores, clothing shops, potion stores, magical equipment merchants, and restaurants.

Various races walked through the streets.

There were humans, elves, dwarves, beastkin, and several other humanoid races.

Noah found the diversity interesting.

So this really is a world filled with different races.

He continued exploring until he found a large building bearing a sword-and-shield emblem.

Adventurers Guild.

"Let's see what this place is like."

He entered.

The interior was spacious, with a large quest board, numerous tables, and several counters.

Adventurers discussed missions while guild employees handled registrations and requests.

Noah approached the reception desk.

"Good morning. I'd like to register as an adventurer."

The receptionist smiled professionally.

"Certainly. May I have your name?"

"Noah."

"And your race?"

"Dragon."

The receptionist briefly looked at his horns and eyes.

Her expression became more attentive.

"A dragon? I see. We rarely receive visitors with genuine draconic characteristics."

She brought out a registration crystal.

"Please place your hand on this crystal."

Noah did so.

The crystal began glowing.

A moment later, its light intensified before suddenly flickering.

The receptionist frowned.

"That's unusual."

"What happened?"

"The crystal is detecting your race, but it cannot determine your complete racial classification."

She examined the result.

"It seems the registration system can only record you as Dragon."

"That's fine."

She completed the registration.

"Congratulations. You're officially registered as an F-rank adventurer."

She handed him a guild card.

Noah examined it.

It displayed his name, race, and adventurer rank.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Please remember that your rank determines which official requests you can accept."

She explained the guild's ranking system.

F-Rank, E-Rank, D-Rank, C-Rank, B-Rank, A-Rank, S-Rank, SS-Rank, and SSS-Rank.

SSS-Rank adventurers were extremely rare, and certain extraordinary individuals could possess strength beyond even that classification.

Noah listened carefully.

He wasn't particularly interested in climbing the rankings immediately.

For now, he wanted to understand the world.

...

While walking through the guild, Noah overheard a conversation.

"Did you hear? A noble family recently purchased a single drop of dragon blood."

"Of course. Dragon blood is worth a fortune."

"How much did they pay?"

"Eight million gold coins."

Noah stopped briefly.

Eight million?

For a single drop?

Another adventurer continued.

"Even a tiny amount can strengthen someone's body, improve magical capacity, and increase their bloodline potential. Depending on its quality, it might even extend their lifespan."

"That's why wealthy families are desperate to obtain it."

Noah silently considered the information.

So dragon blood is that valuable.

He had ten drops of Primordial Dragon Blood Essence stored in his inventory.

He had no intention of selling them.

...

After leaving the guild, Noah explored the surrounding streets.

Eventually, he found a building belonging to the Silverbrook Merchant Association.

Inside, he learned about the local currency.

100 Copper Coins = 1 Silver Coin.

100 Silver Coins = 1 Gold Coin.

100 Gold Coins = 1 Platinum Coin.

A common laborer earned approximately two to three silver coins per day.

A decent weapon might cost several gold coins, while magical equipment could cost hundreds or even thousands.

Noah already possessed over a million System Gold Coins, although he decided not to spend them carelessly.

He had plenty of time to understand the economy.

As evening approached, a golden notification appeared.

This small town was only the beginning.
