Morning — Noah's Personal Dimension

Sunlight streamed through the enormous windows of the mansion.

Noah slowly opened his golden eyes.Full novel: The Supreme Dragon Emperor: My Infinite Evolution System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

For a few seconds, he remained comfortably stretched across the luxurious bed before sitting up. His long black hair, carrying subtle silver strands, fell over his shoulders.

His two black-and-golden horns curved backward from his head.

"Another day."

He glanced toward the floating golden interface.

"Not bad. The system is quite generous."

He stored the five potions and skill chest in his inventory. The new points and gold were added to his existing balance.

Then he opened his status.

Noah closed the window.

He wasn't particularly interested in spending all his resources immediately. There was plenty of time to explore the system's functions.

After getting dressed in a comfortable black outfit, he left the mansion.

His dragon horns remained visible, and his golden eyes reflected the morning sunlight.

Today, he intended to explore more of Silverbrook Town.

Perhaps he could find an interesting place, learn about the local monsters, and discover how adventurers actually made their living.

Silverbrook Town — Adventurers Guild

The town was already busy.

Merchants were opening their shops, carriages were moving through the streets, and adventurers were gathering near the guild building.

When Noah entered the main street, several people noticed him.

A young merchant stopped speaking halfway through a sentence.

"Those horns..."

His companion followed his gaze.

"Dragon horns?"

"Look at his eyes!"

A middle-aged adventurer standing nearby narrowed his eyes.

"He's definitely got draconic features. Could he actually be a dragon?"

"Dragons haven't been seen in the mortal world for six centuries."

"That doesn't mean they don't exist."

Noah heard some of their conversation but didn't bother responding.

He had already accepted that his appearance would attract attention.

Well, at least they're observant.

He continued walking.

Inside the Adventurers Guild, the familiar receptionist greeted him.

"Good morning, Noah. Welcome back."

Her eyes briefly moved toward his horns.

"Your appearance has certainly attracted attention today. There aren't many people walking around with genuine dragon characteristics."

Noah smiled.

"Is that a problem?"

"Not at all. You're registered here, and your identity is already recorded as Dragon. Just be prepared for people to ask questions."

"That's fine."

He approached the counter.

"Actually, I wanted information about nearby monster hunting areas."

"Certainly. We have several regional maps available."

She took out a collection of maps and placed them on the counter.

"These cover the areas surrounding Silverbrook."

Noah examined them.

There were forests, hills, rivers, abandoned settlements, caves, and several dangerous territories.

One particular region caught his attention.

The Verdant Moon Forest.

It was a large forest located approximately twenty kilometers northeast of Silverbrook.

According to the map, it contained numerous monster species, medicinal herbs, magical plants, and several unexplored areas.

The receptionist explained:

"The outer region is relatively safe for experienced F-rank and E-rank adventurers. However, the deeper areas become increasingly dangerous."

"What kind of monsters live there?"

"Green Wolves, Ironhide Boars, Forest Goblins, Thorn Rabbits, and several varieties of magical insects. Deeper inside, you may encounter Shadow Panthers, Ogre Tribes, and much stronger creatures."

Noah nodded.

"Interesting."

She pointed toward another section of the map.

"There's also an abandoned watchtower near the forest's eastern edge. Adventurers occasionally use it as a temporary base."

Noah purchased the regional map for three silver coins.

He also decided to learn more about the monster classification system.

The Monster Classifications

The receptionist brought out a small handbook.

"Monsters are classified according to their general threat level. Their individual strength can vary, but this is the standard classification."

Monster Threat Classification

- F-Rank: Minor threats

- E-Rank: Low threats

- D-Rank: Moderate threats

- C-Rank: Dangerous monsters

- B-Rank: High-level threats

- A-Rank: Extremely dangerous

- S-Rank: Regional disasters

- SS-Rank: Kingdom-level threats

- SSS-Rank: Continental threats

- Calamity: Beyond normal classification

"Some monsters also possess magical cores," she continued. "They can be sold to alchemists, blacksmiths, and magical equipment manufacturers."

"How much are they worth?"

"That depends on their rank, quality, and elemental properties. A low-grade F-rank core might sell for a few silver coins. A high-grade A-rank core could be worth thousands of gold coins."

Noah looked at the handbook.

So hunting monsters is basically another way to earn money.

He wasn't particularly interested in becoming a famous adventurer.

However, exploring the forest and testing his abilities sounded entertaining.

"Can I take monster-hunting requests even though I'm F-rank?"

"Yes. You can accept F-rank and E-rank requests. However, the guild strongly recommends that you avoid dangerous missions until you've gained enough experience."

"Understood."

The Quest Board

Noah walked toward the enormous wooden board.

Numerous requests were displayed across it.

Some involved gathering herbs, others required monster extermination, escorting merchants, or investigating unusual activity.

He casually examined several requests.

Green Wolf Extermination — F-Rank

Eliminate 5 Green Wolves near the western farmland.

Reward: 8 silver coins.

Medicinal Herb Collection — F-Rank

Collect 20 Moonleaf Herbs from the outer Verdant Moon Forest.

Reward: 12 silver coins.

Ironhide Boar Extermination — E-Rank

Eliminate 3 Ironhide Boars threatening a nearby farming settlement.

Reward: 3 gold coins.

Missing Merchant Investigation — D-Rank

Investigate the disappearance of a merchant caravan near the forest.

Reward: 25 gold coins.

Noah considered the requests.

He could easily complete any of them, but he didn't want to spend his entire day doing ordinary guild work.

Instead, he decided to explore the forest independently.

He returned to the receptionist.

"I'll be heading toward the Verdant Moon Forest. Do I need to register an expedition?"

"No, not for the outer region. But please be careful. And if you discover anything unusual, report it to the guild."

"Sure."

Noah left the building.

Outside Silverbrook — A Little Experiment

Once he was outside the town walls, Noah followed the northeastern road.

The scenery gradually changed.

Farmland gave way to rolling green hills, and the distant outline of the Verdant Moon Forest became increasingly clear.

Noah stopped beside a large boulder.

"Let's see how much control I've gained."

He raised his right hand.

A tiny golden flame appeared above his palm.

Unlike the overwhelming power of his dragon breath, this flame was carefully controlled.

He slowly increased its temperature.

The air around his hand began to distort.

Then he changed its elemental nature.

The flame transformed into water, then wind, lightning, and finally ice.

Noah watched the changes with satisfaction.

"Much better."

[SUPREME DRAGON SYSTEM]

[Practice Detected]

Elemental Dominion — Training Progress

- Fire: Beginner

- Water: Beginner

- Wind: Beginner

- Lightning: Beginner

- Ice: Beginner

[Repeated practice and control exercises can gradually improve elemental mastery.]

Noah lowered his hand.

He still had an enormous amount to learn.

His raw power was ridiculous, but controlling it precisely was something he wanted to improve.

He continued toward the forest.

The Verdant Moon Forest

The forest was beautiful.

Massive trees stretched toward the sky, their branches forming a thick green canopy. Sunlight passed through the leaves, creating golden patterns across the ground.

Noah stepped beneath the trees.

Birds flew between branches, small magical creatures moved through the bushes, and faint mana currents flowed throughout the environment.

He walked deeper.

After several minutes, he noticed movement.

Five green wolves emerged from behind the trees.

Their bodies were larger than ordinary wolves, their green fur blended naturally with the forest, and faint magical markings covered their legs.

F-Rank Monsters: Green Wolves

The wolves surrounded Noah.

One growled.

Another slowly approached from the left.

Noah looked at them.

"Green Wolves, huh?"

A golden interface appeared.

[SUPREME DRAGON SYSTEM]

SYSTEM ANALYSIS

Abilities:

- Enhanced Smell

The wolves suddenly attacked.

Noah didn't move.

He simply raised one finger.

A thin thread of lightning appeared.

Crackle!

Five tiny lightning bolts shot forward, striking the ground directly beneath the wolves.

The creatures collapsed, their bodies temporarily paralyzed.

Noah walked closer.

"Well, that was easy."

He examined them.

Their magical cores were located near their hearts.

Using a small controlled burst of magic, he extracted all five cores without damaging them.

Acquired Items

- Green Wolf Magic Core ×5

- Green Wolf Hide ×5

- Green Wolf Fang Pair ×5

He stored everything inside his Primordial Spatial Ring.

Then he continued exploring.

A few minutes later, he discovered a cluster of blue flowers growing beside a stream.

Their petals emitted a faint moonlight-like glow.

Noah crouched and examined one

Moonleaf Herb.

The system immediately analyzed it.

[SUPREME DRAGON SYSTEM]

"Not bad.

Noah carefully collected all eighteen plants, preserving their roots.

He stored them separately.

He wasn't particularly interested in the small amount of money they could bring, but learning about the world's resources was useful.

As he stood up, a notification appeared.

[SUPREME DRAGON SYSTEM]

[Exploration Progress]

New Region Discovered: Verdant Moon Forest

Exploration data recorded.

Additional areas remain unexplored.

Noah looked toward the deeper forest.

The trees were taller there, and the mana in the air felt noticeably denser.

He smiled.

"Looks like there's plenty to explore."

And with that, the young Primordial Origin Dragon continued deeper into the forest.

He had no idea that Aetherion's enormous world contained countless civilizations, ancient dragon territories, and secrets far beyond the knowledge of ordinary kingdoms.

For now, he was simply enjoying his first adventure.
