The moment Noah returned to his Personal Dimension, the golden portal behind him disappeared.
He glanced at the beautiful landscape surrounding his mansion. The peaceful lake reflected the moonlight, while gentle waterfalls produced a soothing sound in the distance.
"Finally, some peace."
Noah stretched his arms and walked towards the mansion. His Voidstep Boots made almost no sound against the stone pathway.
Once inside, he entered his private study and summoned his inventory.
A golden book appeared in front of him.
Ancient Dragon Meditation Manual — Legendary Grade ×1
"Let's see what the ancient dragons left behind."
He opened the manual.
The moment his fingers touched its pages, countless golden symbols emerged from the book and floated into the air. They formed complicated diagrams representing the flow of energy through a dragon's body.
A system notification appeared.
[Ancient Dragon Meditation Manual detected.]
[Analyzing compatibility...]
[Race: Primordial Origin Dragon.]
[Compatibility: 100%.]
[Would you like to learn this technique?]
"Yes."
[Learning Ancient Dragon Meditation Technique...]
[Knowledge transfer initiated.]
[Congratulations! You have learned Ancient Dragon Meditation.]
A tremendous amount of information entered Noah's mind. He now understood the technique's breathing patterns, energy circulation, and methods of refining his internal dragon energy.
The technique had seven stages:
1. Dragon Awakening
2. Dragon Heart Circulation
3. Ancient Blood Refinement
4. Dragon Soul Tempering
5. Elemental Synchronization
6. Origin Energy Condensation
7. Ancient Dragon Transcendence
The manual explained that ordinary dragons could spend centuries advancing through these stages.
Noah looked at the final stage.
"Seven stages, huh? That's going to take some time."
He closed the book and sat cross-legged on the floor.
[Ancient Dragon Meditation activated.]
His breathing gradually slowed. A faint golden light appeared around his body, and the surrounding mana began flowing towards him.
Unlike ordinary cultivation techniques, this method did not simply absorb external mana. It circulated the energy already present within his body, refining it and gradually improving its quality.
Noah continued meditating.
One hour passed.
Then three.
Finally, after six hours, he opened his eyes.
"Hmm. That feels surprisingly comfortable."
He checked his condition.
[Meditation Complete.]
[Internal Energy Control: Improved.]
[Dragon Energy Purity: Slightly Increased.]
[Elemental Control: Improved.]
Noah smiled.
There was no explosive increase in strength, but he could feel the difference. His energy responded more naturally to his thoughts, and controlling multiple elements simultaneously had become easier.
"Good. At least I'm making progress."
He stood up and walked towards the training area.
Personal Dimension — Training Grounds
Noah raised his right hand. This story is hosted at g.com.
A small flame appeared above his palm. With a slight movement of his fingers, the flame transformed into water, then wind, lightning, and finally ice.
Previously, changing between elements required a little concentration.
Now the transitions were almost effortless.
He extended both hands.
Five elemental spheres appeared around him.
Fire. Water. Wind. Lightning. Ice.
He controlled all five simultaneously, moving them in different directions without allowing them to collide.
"Not bad."
He increased the difficulty.
The five spheres began rotating around him while their sizes continuously changed.
After several minutes, Noah dismissed them.
Next, he decided to test the meditation technique with his full dragon form.
Golden light spread across his body. His horns grew larger, black scales covered his skin, and six enormous wings unfolded behind him.
A magnificent Primordial Origin Dragon appeared above the training platform.
Noah looked at his claws.
"Let's see how this technique works in this form."
He closed his enormous golden eyes and began meditating again.
The surrounding mana surged towards him. Even the mana within the nearby mountains and forests began responding to his presence.
However, Noah carefully controlled his absorption. He didn't want to drain the entire dimension simply because he was practicing.
After another hour, he returned to his humanoid form.
[Training Record Updated.]
[Ancient Dragon Meditation: Practiced.]

[Dragon Energy Control: Improved.]
Noah opened his System interface.
"Let's check whether anything new has appeared."

Finally, he opened Skill Development.
[SKILL DEVELOPMENT]

New abilities may be developed by combining compatible skills.
Noah looked at the interface for a moment.
"Now that's interesting. Maybe I can create some new abilities later."
He closed the System.
After spending several hours training, Noah decided to take a break. He walked outside the mansion and sat beside the lake.
The sky inside his dimension was beautiful. A gentle breeze passed through the surrounding trees, and the water reflected the distant mountains.
Noah leaned back comfortably.
"Not bad for a world I created for myself."
He glanced at the forest surrounding the lake.
His Personal Dimension was already enormous, but he had barely explored it. There were mountains, forests, waterfalls, and plenty of untouched land.
Perhaps one day he would build something extraordinary here.
A proper palace. A private library. A treasure vault. Maybe even an entire city.
But that could wait.
For now, he wanted to explore Aetherion.
He opened the System again.
[Daily Mission Available]
Mission: Explore the world beyond Verdant Moon Forest.
Objective: Discover a new location outside the forest.
Reward: Evolution Points ×3,000; System Gold Coins ×50,000; Random Skill Chest ×1.
Noah grinned.
"Looks like the System agrees with me."
He stood up and returned to the mansion. After taking a shower and changing into fresh clothes, he equipped his Voidstep Boots and checked his Primordial Spatial Ring.
Everything he had collected from the cave was safely stored inside.
Ancient Dragon Meditation Manual ×1.
Dragonheart Crystal ×3.
Ancient Dragon Gold Coins ×500.
Dragon Scale Pendant ×1.
Moonstone Ore ×37 deposits.
Mana Crystal Clusters ×12.
Azure Glow Mushrooms ×26.
Starfall Moonflower ×1.
Various monster materials and herbs.
His collection was growing.
Noah looked towards the distant horizon beyond the dimension's boundary.
Tomorrow, he would return to the outside world.
He had already explored part of Verdant Moon Forest, but Aetherion was far too large to remain in one place.
There were kingdoms to visit, cities to explore, ancient ruins to discover, and countless races he had yet to encounter.
And somewhere in this enormous world, the history of dragons was waiting to be uncovered.
Noah smiled.
"Let's see what this world has to offer."
